《wrong number ~ wilbur soot》twenty four

They all decided to head to an old movie theatre located near a small pub. There was only one movie playing and it was a rerun of it's a wonderful life, since it was just recently Christmas.
Philza, Kristen, and Niki immediately wanted to go while the rest were on the edge about it. Who wanted to see a black and white movie about a dysfunctional couple?
But in the end they decided to go.
Wilbur and Cora went to the dusty front counter to get snacks while the rest of the group gathered in the small theatre.
A girl, no older than 18, sat behind the counter with her head in her hand, looking dozed off. Wilbur tapped the counter, making her pop up.
"What would you-" She stopped and stared at Wilbur, immediately smiling and perking up. Cora let out a snicker, but stopped herself when the girl glared.
"Uh yeah, can we get a tub of popcorn, two double decker bars, and uh do you just wanna share a drink?" Cora nodded, the movie girl still glaring at her. "Alright and one large coke."
The girl looked back to Wilbur, grinning like a fan girl and fetched their items. "It's gonna be €17.74." She said in a belittling voice, glaring at Cora. "Okay listen, there's a very small barrier between us and I look tiny, but I could seriously beat the shit out of y-"
"Here you go, keep the change." Wilbur interrupted her, taking their snacks and ushering her forward.
"You know, she was being a real bitch. Like sheeeeesh." Cora said, holding onto the popcorn bucket. "You're jelly." Wilbur teased, poking her in the side.
"Oh please, you're not that pretty. Just show her your forehead and she'll be running for the hills."
He stopped, turning back around and headed towards the door. Cora burst out laughing, running after him and grabbing his arm, pulling him back. "I'm just kidding. Don't leave me here alone with your idiot friends." She breathed out, leading him towards the quiet theatre.
The only people in the seats were their friends, how exciting. They stepped up and squeezed through the aisle to see Tommy sitting in between two empty seats.
"Tommy, move a seat over."
He stayed still, watching the boring previews on the bright screen. Cora poked him in the head and repeated Wilbur's statement.
"No. I can't trust you nasty sons of bitches. We can't scar Tubbo." Cora rolled her eyes, throwing a few peices of popcorn at the blonde's face. "It was a one time thing. We didn't mean to scar you, now get up."
Niki popped her head in their line of sight and looked to Tommy with a concerned look on her face. "What's wrong?" Tommy huffed, not answering Niki.
Wilbur plopped in the seat next to Tommy and pulled Cora down with him, so she was situated on top of him.

He scoffed again, finally moving one seat over. "You know I love women, but you're a bitch. It's like seeing my parents having sex." Cora smiled huge at that while Wilbur set her on the seat beside him.
The movie was as expected. The whole time was like a youtube commentary video with Tommy, Tubbo, and Wilbur. Philza joined in with the jokes, but Kristin and Niki were seriously about to get up and leave. While all this was happening, Cora wasn't even paying attention, falling asleep on Wilbur's shoulder.
When the end credits rolled in, the group trickled out of the theatre. Wilbur and Cora being last. He nudged her awake, whispering "Hey loser, wake up. Movie's over." She hummed instead of responding and kept her head still. "If you get up, I'll let you get on my back."
She blinked her eyes open, making Wilbur grin. He pecked her cheek and stood up, turning his back to her so she could hop on. She scrambled up on the chair and carefully jumping on his back and circled her arms around his neck.Wilbur grabbed the back of her thighs to keep her steady and walked out of the theatre. She laid sleepy kisses in the crook of his neck, making him smile from ear to ear.
When they joined the group, they were talking about what to do next. "Phil and I saw a local carnival driving in. That could be fun, right?" Niki smiled huge nodding, answering for all of them. "That sounds so fun! I've never been to a carnival. Does it have a ferris wheel? Please tell me it does!?" She sounded so excited, that it got everyone else excited.
"I think it does, we didn't really get a good look at it, but it looked like it had a bunch of stuff."
"You think there's in arcade? I want a gun." Cora, a little more awake and still on Wilbur's back, slapped Tommy on the back of the head. "You're starting to sound like an american and trust me, that's not a compliment."
"A nerf gun, dumbarse."
"Oh yeah, I forgot you were like 10." He started to yell, but got cut off by Wilbur walking out the door.
"I'm 17!!" Tommy called out to the two.
The carnival that Phil and Kristin saw, was more like an amusement park. With games, rollercoasters, and unending food booths with incredibly smelling sugary snacks.
Cora was just as excited as Niki. She hadn't been to this sort of thing since she was little. One of the few fond memories she had with her parents. She was happy to recreate them with people she was soon beginning to love.
The tickets weren't very expensive and there weren't many people there, so it was perfect.
"This is probably the most cliche thing we could've done." Cora mentioned while in line for a twisty like roller coaster that looked like it could personally kill her. Everyone except Phil and Kristen hopped in line with her, their adrenaline running from just a look at the roller coaster.

"What? Go to a carnival?"
"I mean, yeah? This is where teenagers go on a first date in there awkward phase. No offense Tubbo and all the offense to you, Tommy." Tommy flipped off Cora while Tubbo laughed hard at Tommy's scrunched up face.
"I think it's romantic. Going up at the tippy top of the ferris wheel and having your first kiss. It's adorable." Niki said, smiling at just the thought of it.
Cora shrugged while Wilbur didn't listen, fiddling with Cora's right hand.
"Sounds like you just wanted that special moment." Niki suggested.
"I don't know, my first kiss was just a no. It was with one of my best friends. You know how people say it's supposed to make your head spin? Yeah, it made me want to twist my neck off." Cora said, making Tommy and Tubbo laugh while Wilbur suddenly paid very close attention.
"Who was it again?"
"Oh it was-" Before she could tell him, the worker told the group to board the coaster, everyone now pumped.
Tommy scrambled on first, Tubbo following him while laughing at something Tommy said. The rest shortly followed, sitting in the back. They strapped in and it shortly zoomed off.
Cora was right, it was definitely out to kill her, she felt like throwing up when she got off, her legs wobbling and the ground waving like the ocean.
Niki loved it and was set on going again with Tubbo, while Tommy went off to the arcade, anticipating on winning a fake gun, calling it a 'vlog gun', whatever that meant.
Philza and Kristen went off to the ferris wheel, not wanting anywhere near any roller coasters.
Wil and Cora decided to stay back and get funnel cake for everyone.
"So who was your first kiss?"
"Oh uh, it was Jared. I was super drunk at one of our mutual friend's party. He ended up kissing me. It was disgusting." Cora laughed, paying the nice old man, retrieving their food.
While Cora laughed, Wilbur's face fell, but he said nothing, walking away quietly, ignoring her. Cora immediately noticed and hit him on the back of his head. "You can't seriously be mad, can you? It was freshman year while at NYU. So very long ago. And don't judge me for having my first kiss so late. You're aware I'm very antisocial and awkward."
"I'm not mad at you, my love. Anyone but you. You were super drunk? Did you say it was okay? Did he just do it? Am I the only one to see what's wrong with that?"
"It's fine. He did it a couple more times after that, but I told him it would never happen. You're funny. Psycho, but funny." No, no, he wasn't psycho, this wasn't right, right?
Wilbur said nothing and continued to an empty table, setting down the funnel cakes he got. His mind flooded with thoughts about what she had said. The only thing he knew for sure was that Jared was a complete arsehole.
His thoughts were interrupted by a foam bullet and a high pitched laugh. Tommy ran to us, holding two fake guns and a tiny bag.
"Tommy you're a child."
He laughed again, throwing the little bag on the table. "Those are for you two. It's hilarious, in my opinion. And my opinion is the only thing that matters."
Cora immediately opened it, rolling her eyes at the sight. Wilbur took it from her hands and started to laugh, pulling out two minecraft grass blocks.
"See Cora, Willy thinks it's funny."
Now Cora bursted out laughing.
"Willy?!" She looked to Wilbur and started to motion to him and to his little friend Willy. "Willy thinks it's funny?"
Wilbur face palmed while Tommy shot her with another foam bullet. "I don't know what's happening, but stop." Cora flicked him as he sat down, beginning to eat the powdery food.
Philza and Kristen joined them, soon followed by Niki and Tubbo. They talked for awhile until everyone dispersed again, going to explore more of the carnival.
It was just Cora, Niki, and Wilbur, finishing off the snack. "Can we pretty please go to the ferris wheel? I've been dying to go all night."
Cora thought it sounded fun, so she stood up, prepared to go. "I'll go." Cora smiled at Niki, but only got a blank face in return.
"I was actually wanting to go with Wil, if that's alright with you of course?"
Cora's face fell, along with her body, back on her seat. She immediately covered it with a fake smile and looked at Wilbur.
"Oh, yea. Of course, sorry."
Wilbur knew she was faking it and was about to tell Niki no, but before he could, the impatient girl pulled him by the arm.
"Great!! This is going to be so fun!" She squealed, leading him towards the ride.
Cora pretended to scroll through tiktok, but watched them go off. If Niki wasn't so nice and adorable, she would respectfully kick her ass.
