"I'm so excited. Is that bad? I'm gonna meet Tubbo, my favorite person in the whole entire world." Wilbur went blank faced, staring at Cora. "I mean my second." She said, mustering up the most innocent smile she could. He didn't change his expression, staring back at the road.

The two were driving to an air bnb Wilbur rented out for the group of mcyt that were meeting up. As far as Cora knew, the only people that were coming was her, Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo, Philza, and His wife Kristin.

Tommy went to Tubbo's house first and they are driving up together. All in all, everyones excited.

They had about a half an hour left in the drive, listening to Cora's playlist. "Wil look, a tunnel. We should re create the Perks of Being a Wallflower scene." Cora unbuckled her seat belt and was about to get up, but got pushed down by Wilbur.

"What? No?"

She looked around. "Uh that's the peak of life. Why not?"

They reached the end of the tunnel making bright light flood into the car. "I've never seen perks of being a wallflower, so I have no idea what you're talking about. It looked like you were about to hop out of the car. You wouldn't make out here all alone."

He said, pulling up to a red light and stopping.

"What? What? What? For your information, I am a complete bad ass." Wilbur nodded taking her seat belt and re buckling it. "You're such a loser, Wil." He resumed driving past the now green light and entangled his hand with hers, bringing it up to his lips and placing a kiss. "We'll watch it while you're here, okay?"

She shrugged watching as they drove through an old looking town with vintage stores scattered around.

Wilbur pulled up to a tiny house just outside of town that looked cute and haunted at the same time. "Wilbur, dear. What the fuck is this? Because it looks like if I take one step in there, I will have to have an exorcism."

"Please, you're over dramatic. Get your ass out and let's get a move on. We have to go pick Tommy and Tubbo up."

Cora huffed loudly, hopping out of the car and grabbing her suitcase out of the trunk, hesitantly walking up the cobblesteps.

The large ornate door was rusty and the paint of the door was scraped up. "You cheap mofo." Cora stated, reaching for the cracked open door. "It's literally open?"

Wilbur teased her in the sides making her physically jump out of her skin. "Listen here bud, I will castrate you. Yup, you heard me. I will chop off your balls-"

Wilbur opened the door and pushed the girl in the house by the small of her back. Cora glared at him, making him smile and take their suitcases to the second floor.

Cora analyzed the house around her, honestly surprised. It kinda smelt like her grandmother's house when she baked cookies or cooked anything at all. It was homely like, with wooden floors and fancy designs everywhere.

She actually liked it until she saw a spider scurry across the carpet under her feet. "That's funny. Hey man, leave. No one want you here and I can't sleep if you're here." She said, eyeing down the bug with thousands of legs.

Wilbur leaned over the ledge, watching the girl talk to the spider. "I thought you said you were a bad ass." Cora flipped him off, keeping her eyes on the little bug while it climbed into a whole in the wall.

"Well that's the worst thing that could have possibly happened."

Wilbur walked down the stairs and took Cora's hand, leading her around the house. There was rustling in the kitchen making Cora pull Wilbur back and hide behind him.

"I told you this place was haunted. Get a bat."

"We don't have a bat."

"Get a damn pillow then."

"A pillow won't do anythin-"

"Wilbur just shut up and do something. I can't die today. Do you think the ghost is a raging feminist? I hope so, then you're screwed, but kill all men you know? Oh dear, sky daddy-"

"Hey guys."

A familiar looking girl waltzed into the living room, licking frosting off a freshly made cupcake. "Niki! When did you get here?" Wilbur shouted, holding his arms open and walking towards her. Cora watched the two hug, feeling a uncomfortable twist in her stomach. "A couple hours ago."

Wilbur let go of her and walked back towards Cora. "This is Cora."

Cora awkwardly stuck out her hand, but Niki basically jumped on her, engulfing her in her tiny arms. "It's so great to meet you. You're the so called 'wrong number girl right?'" Niki finally let go, keeping a close proximity between the too. "Oh my god, you're so beautiful!!"

Cora faked a smile. "Thank you! You too. It's really great to meet you. I'm a huge fan." It wasn't a lie, she really loved Niki's videos, but the stuff between her and Wilbur, even if there was none, made her uncomfortable. Cora wasn't going to say anything. She didn't want to seem like that jealous girl that isn't even the guy's girlfriend.

"I didn't know you were coming, but I'm super excited you're here. I didn't wanna be the only girl." Niki said, her smile burning into Cora's brain.

"Yes, they're all literal idiots so I'm glad too." Niki hugged her again then stepped towards Wilbur. "I made cupcakes! Do you two want any?"

Wilbur looked at Cora, seeing her uncomfortableness. "Oh well, we actually had to go get Tubbo and Tommy, but when we come back, of course."

Niki shot her head back at Cora, her face falling. It was like seeing a puppy die right before her eyes.

"I can stay. Wilbur you go and Niki and I will just stay here, get to know each other." Niki's face brightened, smiling impossibly more than before and hooked her arm with Cora.

Wilbur smiled at the two, knowing Cora didn't mean anything she said. "Alright then, I'll be back with the children."

Wilbur grabbed his keys from his pocket and walked towards the door. "Bye, loser." Wilbur said, ruffling Cora's hair and walking past her. "Text me if you need anything." He called out and walked out the door.

Cora turned back to Niki, who had the happiest face Cora had ever seen.

Okay she lied, this was the worst thing that could have possibly happened.
