Cora waited patiently for him to come back, having the need to be close to him at all times. When the sound of the door opened she jumped up and sped toward it, only to be disappointed.

Her best friend, Jared, was standing there, arms opened wide and smiling huge at Cora. "Well, you do not look very happy to see me." She shook her head and smiled, realizing she hadn't seen him in a few weeks. Jared took her in a tight hug.

"How was your Christmas?" She was the one to pull away to seperate the two, sitting on one of the barstools. "It was really good. You know that guy that accidentally texted me like a month ago?"

Jared looked confused, but nodded. "Well, he came to visit me." Jared's face dropped as he set his suitcase on the couch. "What are you talking about?"

"Alfred? The gamer? He's still here, but he went to the store." Jared looked very frustrated, but Cora didn't know why. "Cora you can't just tell a random person where you live, where I live. He could murder you."

Cora stood up, looking offended. "I'm not stupid. I wouldn't have if I didn't trust him. I'm more responsible than that."

Jared started to walk away to his room, mumbling insults when the front door opened once again. Wilbur locked eyes with Cora and smiled, seeing she was awake, but dropped at her expression. "What's wrong?" Cora pointed to the guy behind her who looked awestruck towards Wilbur.

"Y-you're Wilbur Soot." Wilbur nodded, side eyeing Cora and fake smiling, not knowing what was happening. "I'm a huge fan." Jared walked up like a fan girl and stuck his hand out for him to shake. Wilbur awkwardly took it.

"Wil, this is Jared. Jared, this is Wil." Wilbur's face flashed with understanding, remembering this is her roomate.

"Cora, why the fuck did you tell me his name was Alfred?" She shrugged looking in the bag Wilbur brought. "Ugh, you didn't get me anything?" Wilbur furrowed his eyebrows. "You said you didn't want anything?" She hit him in the shoulder. "That doesn't mean you don't get me anything."

Wilbur smiled at her and brought another bag from behind his back. "Our love is real." Cora peeped through her fake crys, dramatic as always.

Jared looked at the two wide eyed. He didn't know what was happening and he didn't wanna know. "Well I'm gonna go take a nap. Drink tonight?" Cora immediately nodded, the candy that Wilbur got her in hand. Jared disappeared behind his bedroom door and the two began to bicker again.

"Jared seems to like me." Cora laughed insanely at this for no certain reason. "I'm pretty sure he's in love with you. Did you see the way he looked at you? It's like the way you look at Niki."

Wilbur abruptly stopped laughing and pulled the candy away from her mouth. "What are you doing?" "Why'd you say that?" Cora looked confused, trying to get her candy back. "Say what?"

Wilbur looked and spoke seriously. "About Niki? Why'd you bring her up?" Cora shrugged, giving up on the one peice of candy in his hand and reached to retrieve another from the bag, but Wilbur grabbed it before she could.

"Hey?!"

"Don't avoid the question."

She dropped her arms to the side, now really confused on why he was being like this. "You know I don't like Niki right?" Cora hesitantly nodded, moving a peice of hair out of Wilbur's face. "You can do whatever you please with whoever. It's not my business."

Wilbur's heart broke a little when Cora said this. He didn't like Niki in anyway except friends, but I guess he didn't show it enough.

"Are you kidding me? Of course it's your business."

Cora got off the barstool and crossed her arms. "How did this turn into an argument? We're fighting like an old married couple?"

Wilbur set his jacket on the counter and towered over her, also crossing her arms. "It was just a joke." Wilbur face palmed, stepping closer to Cora. "No it fucking wasn't."

Cora rolled her eyes, keeping a certain amount of space between them. "You don't believe me? I've talked to her once."

"You can talk to whoever you want Wilbur. I don't get why this is such a big deal."

"You're doubting yourself."

They both inched closer unintentionally, drawing to each other. "I only want to talk to you." Cora rolled her eyes again. "Oh my god, Wil. You're so dramatic. It was a damn joke. You don't have to try and convince me. She's all sweet and cute and all that

bullsh-"

Wilbur collided his lips with hers, gripping her jaw in one hand and her neck in the other. Cora was only shocked for a second then immediately kissed back, circling her arms around his neck and pulling him impossibly closer. It wasn't sweet or gentle, it was demanding, hungry, and somewhat punishing.

Wilbur backed both of them into a wall, a groan slipping out of Cora's mouth when the cold surface connected with her skin, allowing Wilbur to swift his tounge against Cora's. Her fingers traveled through his curls, gripping everything she could, making Wilbur grunt.

Even though they both didn't want to, they needed air, so they pulled away, panting like dogs after a walk. Wilbur pressed a few gentle kisses on her now swollen lips and laid his forehead against hers.

"You're a bad kisser." Cora joked, still out of breath. He shook his head and kissed every inch of her face. First her left cheek, right cheek, nose, forehead, jaw, then got down to her neck, gently sucking a sensitive area.

"I'm glad you finally had the dick to kiss me, even if it's an extra smal-."

Wilbur cut her off again moving his lips against hers, tapping her thigh for her to jump up. Cora did what he signaled and wrapped her legs around his waist, gripping his jaw. Wilbur kept his hand on her neck, not squeezing, but keeping it their to steady.

Cora tapped his hand that was around her neck. He quickly stopped, studying her expression. "You wanna stop?" Cora immediately shook her head and spoke. "Squeeze."

He didn't take another second to do what she asked and connected their lips again, now squeezing her neck to the point he could feel her pulse.

"What's happening here?"
