Peyton
I stared at the TV screen with a blank, unamused expression as more and more jump scares continued to roll by. Jimin and Jungkook cuddled together, hiding behind the blanket that covered them both.
A crazed-looking girl came on, her hair sticking up and tangled, it immediately reminded me of Piper. A short and loud laugh escaped my lips as I slapped a hand over my mouth.
My body shook as I silently laughed, earning weird looks from the boys. "What?"
"How is that funny?!", Jimin exclaimed, flinching as she came up again, letting out a deadly screech.
"It reminded me of Piper in the morning," I leaned my head back against the couch, loud laughs escaping past my lips without me bothering to stop them.
Jungkook screamed, flinging his boys toward me while I groaned at his weight on my stomach and lap. He hid his face in the crook of my neck, squeezing my shoulders in fear.
"Piper isn't that scary," I pat his back, trying to push him off of me. I could be losing air, probably am. "Get off me!"
Jimin snickered from my right side, standing up and coming over to the large hunch sitting on my lap. Jimin jumped on top of my other side, copying Jungkook's position.
I grunted in pain, feeling more weight added to my body. I wasn't in extreme pain but I could feel my leg and arm muscles tensing up quickly. "Guys, get off."
"Turn the movie off," Jungkook whined, while I moved my arm around, I held back a hiss of pain, my tricep burning.
"I can't with the two babies on my lap," I mumble, finally getting my hand to touch something cold. I fumbled with it, finally hearing the silence that filled the room. "Get off now."
Jungkook peeked over his shoulder, sighing in relief as he plopped down next to me. I poked Jimin's head, which was resting on top of mine. "You two."
Jungkook giggled, while I turned my head to look at him. Jimin's head fell onto my chest, while I shoved him off, hugging myself.
"They hurt, ya know!", I exclaim, my eyes shooting up at the sound of knocking on the door. I push myself up, raising my arms above my head. I feel my shoulders and back crack while I breath passes through me. "I got it."
I waddled over to the door, yanking it open, half expecting to see Piper. It wasn't Piper, it was a dude with dark brown hair.

"Jimin didn't tell me he had a girlfriend," he awkwardly spoke first, while I glared at him. He held his hands up in surrender, taking a step back. "Not putting labels on it?"
"There is no label!", I announced in anger, hearing quick footsteps approaching behind me. Jungkook wraps an arm around my tense shoulders while I ducked my head, his arm falling to his side.
Jimin smiles at the guy, holding his fist out to him, the guy hitting his fist on his. "I see you've met Pey."
"Pey?", I cock an eyebrow at him, shaking my head and holding up a finger. "Only my friends get to call me nicknames, it's Peyton to you."
The guy at the door laughed, looking directly at me. "I like her."
"I don't," Jimin mumbled, crossing his arms in an attempt to look intimidating.
"Don't try that on me," I shove his body away, smirking as I was about to expose him more. "Both of you were just screaming like babies and sitting on my lap because of a movie."
Jungkook's hands dropped onto my shoulders, turning me toward the door. He pushed me while I took steps forward until I was standing outside the door. "You can leave now."
"Mkay," I shrug, looking down the hall at the large window at the end of it. "Tell Piper that I'm somewhere around here. Maybe I'll sleep at the library tonight."
I began to walk away, in the direction of the lift, looking down at what I was wearing. I was wearing black sweats, that were a bit bigger for me, a navy blue hoodie, that would keep my face warm with the hoodie, and black sneakers that I usually wore when I went walking around.
I was about to push the button to the lift when I felt arms picking me up and spinning me away from it. I smacked at their arms until I was successfully put down. "What do you want? I have places to go."
He scoffed, pushing me closer to his apartment, as I furrowed my brows at Jungkook who stood outside, staring at me. "I told Piper I'd let you stay at my place, if you get lost or hurt, it's my fault."
"Not really," I trail off, feeling a pinch on the back of my arm. I slap a hand on his hand, holding my arm away from him. "Don't do that!"

I grumbled under my breath, angrily standing next to Jungkook, chuckling at me. He flicked my forehead, my glare deepening as I suddenly wanted to go downstairs.
"Dude, you're gonna die," the guy told Jungkook, while I forced myself not to smile. I liked him too, he seemed like a fun kind of friend.
"She isn't violent," Jungkook shrugs, slowly bringing his arm around my shoulders again.
"I don't hit," I mumble under my breath, watching as Jimin scoffs at me. "I don't hit faces."
"What do you mean?", Jungkook looks down at me, as I crossed my arms tighter, trying to loosen my muscles.
"She doesn't hit faces," Jimin shrugs, watching my temper lessen and lessen with each second. He quirks an eyebrow at me, while I harshly pushed Jungkook's arm off my shoulder.
I stormed behind him, watching the stairway door get closer to me as I loudly pushed it open. I ran down the stairs, skipping the last few steps as I kept going down the levels.
I heard footsteps following me, followed by whispers and callings of my name.
"Peyton!"
"Not now," I whispered to myself, finally reaching the floor I wanted to be on. I calmly walked out, smiling at the receptionist, who waved at me like she always did. I waved back, speeding past the opening and down the hall.
I glanced down at my hands, seeing as I don't have any wraps on them. I looked behind me, quickly running over to the front desk. "Do you have anything I can wrap my hands with for boxing?"
I must've looked crazy or she didn't believe me. She hesitantly handed me the things I needed while I walked away, wrapping my hands as I tried to calm down.
"Peyton!", I heard Jimin call my name, my eyes flickering up to his quick moving figure.
"What?"
"What are you doing?", he asks, finally reaching my side as I sarcastically stared at him.
"Use that brain you might have," I mumbled, planting a harsh poke to his forehead. I walked off, wiggling my now wrapped up hands. I pushed open the swinging door, seeing only three faces I knew that came here.
"Why is she here? She's gonna get beat up," I heard the guy I still didn't know the name of, say to Jimin or Jungkook.
"Stop her!", Jungkook must've told Jimin since they were completely oblivious to my routine.
I turned around to stare at them, pointing directly at them. They froze, watching as I looked at the two big guys making their way to my side.
"You're late," one of them crack a smile at me, while I shrug, throwing them a smile as well.
"I got caught up, locked myself out of my place," I tell them, while they playfully pushed my shoulders. "Why are you guys here so late?"
"Blowing off steam," the shorter of the two cracks his knuckles, smacking the taller one's head. "You got your boyfriends with you?"
"Ha!", I laughed, soon being joined by the two boxers I talked to sometimes when I came here. "That's funny."
I watched the three shocked guys stand at the door, staring in disbelief as I casually talked with the big guys next to me.
"You gonna hit?", I nod my head enthusiastically, spinning around and looking at the black and red bag hanging in the far corner.
"You guys going in the ring?", I turn back to them, watching as they shrugged making their way towards the square in the middle of the big room. "Friendly match!"
I waved over the three guys, pointing to the bench behind me, motioning for them to sit down. "Sit down, losers."
They quickly shuffled over to it, watching as I climbed between the wire of the ring. I looked at the two guys smirking at one another, each in opposite corners.
"You remember the routine," I say, watching as they stood up straight, placing a hand over their heart. "In this ring, we play friendly matches, never ones to release a grudge. Despite who wins and who loses, do you swear to continue what you did before this match?"
"I swear," the shorter instantly responds, nodding as he dropped his hand.
"I swear," the taller smiles at me, while I snapped my fingers at them both.
"Once I get out, you may proceed with the match. No cheating, no speaking, and of course, don't break anything."
I walked over to the wire again, slipping out and jumping down from it. I smirked at the three guys staring at me in awe as I made my way over to them.
"What?", I grab their attention, cracking my knuckles while Jimin cracked a small smirk of his own. "Never seen a girl box?"

This Used to be About Dungeons
This Used to be About Dungeons is a comfy slice-of-life adventuring story that occasionally features dungeons. Updates Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Mostly it's about walking in the woods with a friend, looking for mushrooms to put in your soup, or haggling with the guy selling squash, or taking care of a neglected garden. It's putting some jam on shortbread biscuits. And yes, sometimes you go down into the dungeons with your friends, and you kill monsters there, or disarm traps, but when you come out, you realize you've found the perfect magic item to give to one of the local kids that helped you out when your cat was sick. Look, the dungeons are always going to be there, and sometimes you need to make a journey to one of the Spirit Gates, or make a pilgrimage with the local Cleric of Symmetry to a holy shrine. Your tour through the local dungeons can wait. You'll have rivalries with other groups, and find some dungeon eggs that need to be carefully incubated in case they turn out to be something valuable, and help a friend to build a fishing weir. There's a big world out there, a mostly tame place with lots of magic, and even more to do and see. Join me, won't you?The cover image is Morning Sunlight Effect, Eragny, by Camille Pissarro.

Humans were cast out of Eden for committing the original sin. Now Seven will answer, should Humanity live forever? But first, join Team Six in their rescue mission turned daring prison break from death. Author's Corner: Welcome to the Legend of the Seven series #LOTSseries, my Guardians. This is my first novel turned webnovel. I'm returning to this fictional world after a 6-year hiatus with a lot of personal growth and insight. Insights gained from being a lifetime reader.I was the kid who read Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. I was the new adult who read I Shall Seal the Heavens and Ark. I've lost count of how many fictional worlds I've visited and lived through for I grew up on western novels but discovered eastern novels in my college years. This is my attempt to marry those two literary styles. It's my hope that this journey becomes more than just a book. If you're reading this simply expecting an ego power trip then turn back. There'll be action but with a lot of metaphysics and discussion on life with its accompanying issues. I strive to ground and make this webnovel relatable with verisimilitude. This webnovel is about choice. Freewill and its consequences. I give my characters autonomy to do and be themselves which sometimes leads to me rewriting and replotting because of pleasant surprises from my characters. Even the character who dies within the chapter they are introduced can have a massive impact with several ripples. So, there'll be stories on love and loss, hope and despair, but most importantly, it'll be a story. Release schedule: M, W, F - I aim for afternoon (1pm to 6pm) MST. I'm working on a project, codenamed "Guides' Sanctum", to make LOTSseries even more alive with special voice-overs, extra stories, behind the scene stuff, and so much more. But it can only come online when certain benchmarks are reached. The listed goals will help us get there.
