I jabbed at Jimin's shoulder, continuously poking harder each time until I had his attention. He carelessly scrolled through Instagram, stopping on a picture and tilting his phone toward me.
"Is that your sister?", he points to picture on his screen, as an image of her and her light brown haired boyfriend pucker up and cross their eyes together.
"Yep, that's her boyfriend too," I nod, going back to my jabbing into his shoulder. He sighed in annoyance, grabbing my finger and holding it in place.
"That's Taehyung," Jimin points at the guy in my sister's picture. "He's our best friend."
"Our?", I reach up to poke him with my other finger but he skillfully catches that one with the same hand, holding my two fingers together.
"Jungkook and I's," he nods to the guy sitting on the singular chair that was next to me. I tug my fingers away, only for him to hold on to them tighter. I kneel on the sofa, using my upper body to pull my finger out of his grip.
I should be able to pull them out if I just wiggle them a bit more. I yelped, my body falling forward as he harshly yanked my fingers away from me. I stare up at his stupid, smiling face from his lap, trying to pull my fingers free while also trying to sit up.
"Can I have my fingers back?", I mumble, leaning my head up a bit to pull the rest of my body up. I hear a chuckle from my right ear, making me look at the young guy, who is called Jungkook. "What's so funny?"
"You two look and act like a couple," he giggles more, shrinking into his seat while I shot glares at him.

"Couple, right," I sarcastically agree with him, finally pushing myself off of Jimin's thighs. "Fingers, mine."
"What did you want anyway?", he asked, going back to scrolling on his phone.
"Food," I simply answer, watching as he looked at me from the corner of his eye. "Give me food."
"Go make yourself food," he pushes my shoulder away, while I fall back onto the sofa. I push my feet against his thigh, resting my head on the pillow at this end.
"Kitchens and I don't get along," I truthfully tell him, watching as he scoffed in disbelief. "Call Piper and ask if it's true."
"I will," he pushed a few buttons, holding the phone up to his ear. She must've picked up relatively quickly, seeing as he spoke right away. "Hello, Piper."
I smirked as he continued talking to her about letting me in the kitchen.
"Why not?", he asks, his eyes widening as she probably told him about the first and last time I made something for myself. He slowly hangs up the phone, staring at me like I grew three extra heads. "You are a monster."
"How?", Jungkook asked from behind me, cocking an eyebrow at Jimin's shocked expression.
"I broke the microwave when I was making toast with the toaster," I shrugged, thinking that it wasn't that big of a deal.
"How do you break a microwave while toasting bread?!", Jimin exclaimed, squeezing my ankles and leaning on them, fully facing me. He crawled along my legs, despite my complaining. "Stay out of the kitchen."
I gave him a deadpanned look, before shoving him off of me. He falls to the floor with a thud, while Jungkook and I stifle our laughs. "Go make me food."

He stands up, stomping his feet as he storms off, grumbling how he should spit in whatever he was gonna make.
"You two seriously act like a couple," Jungkook comments again, while I stop playing with my fingers. "It's kinda funny."
"We aren't a couple, we've just been neighbors for years now," I assure him, not bothering to look at him. "Besides, why would we be one?"
"You annoy him as much as he annoys you, it's hilarious," he adds on, laughing when he notices my cringed expression. "He's not that bad!"
"Sure," I nod my head in agreement, jumping when we hear a loud clank from the kitchen. "I'm not the only one breaking things!"
"Shut up!", he yells from the kitchen, pushing pots and pans around. Well, that's what it sounded like. I sigh, pushing myself off the sofa with my elbows, trudging in the direction of the noise.
I sneak into the doorway, staring at him while he stares at his phone with a shocked expression. "What are you looking at?"
He jumps, almost dropping his phone to the floor, quickly shutting it off. "N-nothing."
"Uh huh," I sarcastically answer him, snatching his phone from him and running out the doorway. I snicker as I slide over to Jungkook, holding up Jimin's phone. "Password."
He pushed the buttons while I flipped it around the face me. Jimin hurried over as I watched a picture pop up. I examined it, seeing it was still on Instagram.
"Jimin," I say his name while he froze in his steps. "Why were you staring at a picture of me?"
Jungkook chokes on his laughs, earning a glare from Jimin. "You're staring at an old picture of her?"
Jimin's cheeks burn bright red, desperately trying to grab his phone I was still holding. I analyzed the picture more, trying to find something significant in it.
"At least you picked a good one, how did you find my account?", I calmly ask him, handing his phone over to his open hand. "Why that picture?"
"Piper tagged you in one of her pictures, so I took it as a once in a lifetime opportunity to follow you before you hate me even more," he explains, ignoring my last question as he went to walk away. I crossed my arms, running around to stand directly in front of him, stepping whichever way he went to get around me.
"Why did you specifically look at that picture?", I pressed in again, watching as he looked everywhere but me. "Is it so hard to answer a simple question?"
"Yes, now I have to go make your food so you'll shut up," he tried to push me out of the way but I stood my ground.
"Why?"
"No reason, just a random picture."
"Yeah, right," I rolled my eyes, jabbing my finger in his forearm while he glared down at me. "Cmon! Just tell me."
"I liked the outfit, okay?!", he exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air. He brushed past me, whispering what could be his final thoughts. "It was a hot outfit."
My mind went blank as soon as I realized what picture he was actually talking about. I only took it a few months ago, but it was old.
Wait, Jimin was nice to me, about me?!

Not your average Bird
Rago didn't have what you would call a good life... Or lives, in his case. For you see, Rago is one of an infinitesimally small number of people that remembers his previous lives. In his first life, he was a young spartan warrior that was killed for being too weak. In his second life, he was a young squire in the courts of Camelot that was tragically killed when his master lost control of his horse, and it kicked him in the head. In his third life, he was a child soldier in Africa that managed to escort a group of children to safety before he was shot in the head by their now ex-captors. And in his fourth life, he spent his entire life in a hospital bed being treated for a currently incurable auto-immune disease. ... But, that's when things changed. He was suddenly brought before an all-powerful being and given yet another go at life... Let's hope things are different this time.

This is the story about the second war between nephlims and humans. This is the story of how everything ends. -- (21JUN2020 story will be active for another week, I unfortunately do not have a backlog so I can't extend my chapter updates until another port call. I do not know when the next port call will be so I will be on another Hiatus for an undetermined amount of time. Scribblehub is not blocked on my work computer so I will be able to update my story on that website. It can be found here.) This story is a draft, I'll be doing my best to update monthly; work might get in the way of that so some update might be delayed an extra week or so. There will be roughly 31 chapters in total (I have the entire plot written down for the first book and the overall plot written down for the entire series.). (Summary is also a WIP and will change later to better fit the story. Any advice on how to write a summary for multiple POV's would be amazing)
