dear journal,

i haven't even left my car yet. yeonjun and i just went out and celebrated our midterm success at a restaurant. we shared some breadsticks. he ordered chicken and fries (yes he's that type of person). and i ordered the special, which was some pasta dish we both picked over. it wasn't as special as i'd hoped, or as the waitress made it seem.

anyway, i'm rambling. when yeonjun and i got back into the car and i started driving to his house, it was quiet. we were listening to some of our favorite music. we both like that kind of music you can listen to when you're in any type of mood. it's sorta slow and alternative. so it's quiet right, and all of the sudden, he takes my hand.

like, he started holding my hand.

at first i was... surprised, i guess. then he laced his fingers through mine, and it felt... comfortable. so, until i dropped him off, we held hands. my face gets hot just thinking about it. i wanted to ask him so many questions before he left, but he was silent. i don't know if i could have gotten them out if i tried anyway.

and now i'm sat here in the car trying to remember what his hand felt like. god, what's going on...
