dear journal,
today was a half day so we got out of school at around noon. i was planning on just going home, but yeonjun and i ended up driving around for the rest of the day. we went to the arcade and won thousands of tickets. i'd never seen his face light up like that. then we went to get ice cream and i found out his favorite flavor is strawberry. somehow i felt like i already knew that.
we sat on a bench and watched birds for a while. the way the birds walked made yeonjun laugh, and i laughed too. i couldn't seem to help it whenever he got started. his laughter was infectious.
on the ride home we both decided we should do that again sometime.
he texted me later and said he hadn't had a day that great in a really long time.
that made me so happy.
