I'm still looking

Still searching for the good

Still the kid with a pessimistic mood

Where has the light in the world gone

There is an emptiness that grows inside

Emptiness I cannot hide

Please someone show me there is still hope

I'm on the seas of life

Tossing and turning from all the strife

I'm trying so hard to bring joy to others

But there is none left for me

How has the joy disappeared taken by the sea

It sails away the happiness has left

In time it will return like the tide

That's the best I can describe myself

A boy with emotions like the sea

Sometimes cold and bleary

Sometimes dark and dreary

Yet still so beautiful

It changes with the tide.
