My mind and heart used to quarrel,

I questioned my morals,

thoughts began to twirl,

my world upside down.

Her love is what I crave,

she takes my breath away,

she frolics in the fields of my

fragile heart every day.

Well played.

She plants her seeds in my

garden and shines

light throughout the land,

the flowers play and dance,

thank you for bringing life

back to my desolate den.

So I follow my heart,

it makes for beautiful art,

after all we're only humans

trying to find a glimmer of light in the dark.
