I try to avoid heavy eye contact

while focusing on the

discarded gum and litter

along the narrow walkway.

I look some of

them in the eyes,

and take a peek into

their beautiful minds,

trying to establish

some sort of connection,

but I'm left with no signal.

At this moment,

I realized

that I've changed.

I feel emotionless.

I'm an empty vase

with no flowers;

my heart

frost bitten and lost

like a iceberg.
