She creeps up on him

The thoughts are sporadic and chaotic,

swarming him like an

angry colony of bees.

All reasoning behind his

sadness and self woe can't be found.

It never will.

This is what she has turned him into.

A man who's lost his way

on his ominous road to happiness.

His pride stripped from him,

mind easily misconstrued by others.

So it's difficult to socialize

and form connections with people.

His past holds the eeriness of a cemetery,

Filled with near death experiences and solitude,

Heartbreak and suffering.

The world changes around him,

Making his mind spin like a revolving door.

Yet he remains the same,

With this frantic look on his face with

little hints of loneliness and acrimony.

But one thing about him remains the same,

The love of his life,

Melancholy.

She has always been by his side,

And she'll be there till the end.

Pumping an endless supply

of enmity and bitterness

throughout the rest of his days.

Till the hair on his head begins to turn grey,

Taking her along with him to his grave.
