It has been about a week since I left Herbert.

I don't feel bad about it at all, but i feel so sad and angry at him for cheating on me; Disregarding our relationship, my feeling and totally forgetting that I stuck by him through thick and thin. Well, at least I thought I did. On the other hand, He's been trying to reach me ever since i left. Through e-mails, calls, texts, DM's, everything!

I hated to see him beg so I just blocked him on everything. I've been living with my friend for a while now, Slumped on her couch almost every day. Wanting to erase the memory of my relationship with Herbert.

Then all of a sudden, an unknown person texts me

Unknown: Baby come back

You: Herbert, it's not going to work & I don't want no cheater as my boyfriend.

Unknown: I'll never Cheat on you again. Just come back home. I miss you

Unknown: Cant no girl do what you do baby.

You left his text on read and moved on with your day. You decided to no longer respond to him ( you also blocked his number. ) You made a hair, Nails and Lash appointment. You wanted to get dolled up and have fun.

" Feeling better, babe? " Your best friend asked.

" Yeah, actually. I still miss him though. "

" Girl... bump him! You don't need him in your life. He looks like a dog anyways. " She says.

" Hey! that's my ex you're talking about. " You say chuckling while going into defense mode for Herbert. " Not you defending a cheater " she said sassily. I wasn't really trying to defend him... I was just- Yeah, I was defending him.

" Y/N... get a grip and bump. him.!"

" Its not easy. I love him-"

" Loved. " She corrects you.

" But lets get ready, we're going to the basketball game today!! i got season tickets! " She says smiling.

" That's great!! I'll be ready in 30 minutes! "

- 30 Minutes Later... -

You along with your best friend head to the staples center, turn in your tickets, get food, and finally, find your seats. Watching everyone play was amusing and such a distraction from what had just happened to you. You felt okay while feeling hurt.

Your best friend knew how to make you forget somethings that are wrong in your life.

As you're eating your popcorn while drinking your drink [your favorite], you look over to your friend to see her grinning from ear to ear.

" Having fun?" You ask her with a bit of sarcasm. " You aren't?" She asks in worry tone. You ask yourself, 'are you?' but you really couldn't give yourself an answer.

" I am, girl. I'm just tired. " You say giggling. Then all of a sudden you breakdown and cry. Crying to the point of shaking hard.

" Y/N!!!??" Your friend asks you very concerned. Her face, flustered, trying to understand you and what's going on while you break down emotionally. Missing Herbert, Missing your old life with him. In the mix of this, she guides you out the basketball court to a bathroom.

" I-I-I..." You say stuttering and trail off, feeling a mix of emotions clawing at you.

" My love, baby, just say it, it's okay." Your friend coos.

" I... I want Herbert back. I love him more than anything. " You say while breathing in and out sharply. Hoping she understands you. " I feel wrong without him, I really do. "

" But, he's no good for you, Y/N. He cheated on you, that's wrong, you're making a bad decision. " She says softly but firmly. Wanting you to understand.

" Y/F/N, I know but I love him, and it was only one time. He and I should talk this out because I do want to make it work. " You say. You're so vulnerable right now. You wish Herbert was here to kiss you and make the pain go away. You want to forgive him and you want him. He's your real love and y'all have overcame so much. You'd hate to let all of that go.

" If you say so, Love... then I will support you. " She says with a smile upon her face.

So later, she drives you home and you unblock herbert to tell him that you want to speak to him about you guys situation.
