i'm sorry! ugh, i'm so so sorry. if you're reading this right now, you were probably expecting an update for this book after an entire YEAR because i kept saying that i would and i haven't but— this isn't it and i'm really sorry.
if anyone still reads this, which i extremely doubt, but— i've been wanting to update this book for over a year now and i just have not had any ideas. i know i sound repetitive by now but i'm being completely honest when i say i've had the worst kinds of writers block for this book after crisis. especially as i watched the flash as it continued airing, anything past what i've already written for this book, i haven't had the interest in writing? i've had much more interest in skinny love than i have this book and i'm really sorry if anyone was expecting an update.
i originally wanted to take this book down because i believe it to be one of my worst works because you can legitimately see how bad my writing and ideas were to how they are now but i just didn't have the heart to? some people didn't want me to and i don't know if i want to take it down myself because it's the first book i genuinely took seriously, no matter how bad it is.
worry not, i'm still going to be writing barry and zee tho! just— not in this book.
i'm going to continue writing skinny love and am planning on ending it at an ideal point in the show because i have no interest in writing pretty much anything past the episodes I've already written.
regarding future works, i've been brainstorming another barry allen book because i'm just not happy with this one, so hopefully some time in the future? maybe, maybe not. it's not a guaranteed thing so don't hold me to it and i'm not entirely sure but i just really love writing the first few seasons of the flash and i want to continue writing barry and zee because i just love them so much. so— it's a possibility !!
