"So you're you." John starts to point, looking between Oliver and I.

"And you're you." Curtis does the same, staring at us.

"An immortal Egyptian, aliens, parallel earth Nazis-" John starts to say, placing his hands on his hips, "I have no idea why I'm even surprised at this point."

"I'm still trying to figure out if this is more like "Freaky Friday" or "Quantum Leap." Curtis spoke, looking between us once more.

"No." I shook my head, the nerd inside of me finding its way up to the surface, "If this were like "Quantum Leap," I'd only look like myself in the mirror."

"Yep." He nods, "You are definitely not Oliver Queen."

Kara spoke up, "We think that the red skies and these lightning strikes have to be related to whatever happened to Barry and Oliver somehow."

"We need you to solve the somehow while we're in Gotham." Oliver crosses his arms.

"No problem." Curtis nods, "I mean, ARGUS has all the best analytic toys, but what we really need is a pattern recognition algorithm, and, unfortunately, Felicity isn't-"

"I called Felicity." Oliver cuts him off.

"Wait, wait." John points at Oliver, "You called Felicity?"

"Yeah." Oliver nods.

"Right. Well, I guess that makes sense because technically, you are her husband." John slowly nods then looks into nothing, "I'm confused."

As if on cue, Felicity walks in, "I've been summoned?"

Oliver shoots me a look, causing me to clear my throat quick, looking down at her, "Yes. Thank you for coming."

"Of course." Felicity looks at me, her tone dropping, "I mean, things might be fraught between us, Oliver. That doesn't mean I'm not gonna show up."

"They are?" My eyebrows furrow in confusion, looking at Oliver, "They are?"

I clear my throat, looking at Felicity once more, my eyes squinting, not knowing what to say, "They are, yeah. Which is- sad."

"So, um, this lightning thing." Curtis cuts in, "Um, could you help me out with that? Can I kind of show you kind of what I'm thinking?"

"Yeah." Felicity nods, shooting me a look before leaving the room with Curtis.

"Okay." John stepped up, "So why didn't you tell Felicity?"

"Well, because we tried to tell everybody at Star Labs, and it didn't really go over so well." I began, scratching the back of my neck.

John begged the question, "What do you mean?"

"Dude-" My tone ranged high, "My wife managed to come up with a way to knock us both out and throw us in a cell."

Oliver clears his throat, "Felicity and I have enough problems as it is without introducing body swapping."

"I am now realizing what I said wasn't so relevant." I clear my throat, looking up at the ceiling.

"We thought we'd just let her think everything's normal and that Barry and I are solving another problem." Oliver explained.

"If you find out how this lightning thing relates to whatever it is that we're dealing with here, can you please tell us?" Kara asked.

"Copy that." John nods, "Hey. This thing isn't gonna be permanent, is it?"

I let out a deep sigh, blinking long and hard, the fear of that rising in me, but I kept it contained, having hope.

All I wanted right now is to be back with Zee. Her laughs and voice was all I wanted to hear, instead of all this insane reality swap crap.

I just wanted everything to go back to the way it was.

"I hope not." Oliver and I say in unison.

I point at him, "Jinx."

Kara and I start to walk through the hall, Oliver chasing after us, "Barry, there's something I'd like to discuss before we go."

I looked back at him as he came between us, "What's that?"

"That you probably shouldn't go." Oliver told me.

"What?" I ask, staring at him.

"Oliver Queen is a public figure and an infamous vigilante." Oliver began to explain, "If you are in Gotham City, you're attracting the type of attention that we don't want."

"No." I shook my head as we walked through the halls, "If Gotham can handle the Batman, it can handle the Green Arrow."

"The Batman's an urban legend." Oliver stated, his tone low.

"Wait." I pause, "You don't believe Batman's real?"

"He's not real." Oliver started, as I shot Kara a look, a humorous laugh leaving my lips, "He's an urban legend concocted by the Gotham police department to scare criminals. And I'm the original vigilante, Barry."

"Okay, if you guys are done fooling around-" Kara began.

I cut her off, looking at Oliver, "Actually, you know what? Could you pull that thing up? Because, unlike you, my identity's not public, and I'd like to keep it that way."

Oliver argued, "This isn't your real face!"

"It might end up being my real face if we don't sort this mess out, so could you?" My tone ranged high as we came to a stop.

Oliver huffs, pulling on the mask, "Happy?"

"Ecstatic." I roll my eyes, sarcasm dripping through my tone.

"Oh wow, Zee's sarcasm really rubbed off on you-" Oliver spoke,

"Hey, if you-" I point at him, only for Kara to cut us both off.

"Apparently, you guys aren't done fooling around." Kara grabs onto me, leaving ARGUS with me, carrying me as she flew, ending the conversation then and there.

-

"That is so awesome." I laugh deeply, after Kara sets me down on the roof, as I walked over to the ledge, "So this is Gotham. Doesn't look so tough to me."

"Where's Oliver?" Kara questioned, looking around, taking notice that we were the only ones here.

I shrug, "I don't know."

Right on time, Oliver runs over, circling the entire roof, Kara staring at him, "Guess he's still getting the hang of it."

Oliver stops in front of us, letting out a forced laugh, "I'm still getting the hang of it."

"All right." Kara said, walking over to where I was with Oliver, looking down at the roads, "So how do we find two people in a city of 1.6 million?"

"There is a radio personality named Vesper Fairchild." Oliver began, "She knows everyone in Gotham, and I know her. She was doing an exposé on white-collar crime back in the day, and I wanted to persuade her that Queen Consolidated was above board."

I roll my eyes lightly, glancing at him, "So you slept with her, right?

"No-" Oliver's tone turned high, before admitting, "I-I don't know."

"Gosh." Kara scoffed, "You really got around back in the day, didn't you?"

"Oh." I scoff right after her, in the tone that practically screamed to not get me started on this topic, "One time, Oliver cheated on his girlfriend with her sister."

"Barry!" Oliver called, as Kara let out sounds of disgust.

"What?" I ask, my tone high also, "You did!"

"So, what, depending on this past relationship with this woman, we might have to come up with a plan B, is that what you're saying?" Kara questioned.

"Yeah." Oliver exhales.

"Guys! Take a look at this." I called, walking over to something covered in a huge cloth, my hand grabbing the fabric, pulling it off, a huge light with the Batman symbol planted in the center, it dark due to being turned off, as I looked at Oliver, pointing at it, "You still think he's a myth?"

"Yeah! Let's go." Oliver turned away after looking at it, walking off.

I stare at the light, as I muttered to myself, "Batman's real."

-

"If I remember right, the radio station was this way." Oliver lead, walking between Kara and I.

I shove my hands into my pockets, "I'm surprised they put it in the bad part of town."

"It's cute how you think there's a good part of town." Kara rolls her eyes.

The sound of honking causes us to halt, as we looked back, two people getting out of a truck, being guarded, causing me to mutter, "Looks like the one percenters bring the good part with them."

"This is why nobody talks about Gotham, okay?" Oliver stated, "City might as well be dead."

"Sounds like you guys aren't from around here." A deep voice catches our attention, a man walking over to us, a few people behind him, "Probably don't know, but Gotham tourism bureau collects a tax on out of towners, so phones, wallets, watches now."

"You know what, fellas?" Oliver acted the part, "We don't want any trouble, so maybe we can just talk this out, okay?"

"Talk it out." The man laughs, then pulls out a gun, pointing it right at Oliver, "Okay. I'll talk first."

He shoots, only for Kara to use her speed to grab the bullet before it even touches Oliver, as she gapes at the bullet in her hand innocently.

I took action, grabbing the gun in the man's hands, elbowing him, doing a complete 360, hitting him in the face with the gun, grabbing him and slamming him to the ground, cocking the gun, aiming right at him, a hard look on my face, the bottom of my boot pressed against his throat as he helplessly laid on the ground.

As if on cue, GCPD pulls in, surrounding us, getting out their cars and aiming their guns at us, "On the ground now! All of you, on the ground! Show me your hands!"

Oliver and Kara obeyed, as did everyone else, as I remained stood in my position, breathing heavily through my mouth.

"Oh, crap." The officer's eyes land on me, as he presses a button on his walkie talkie, "I need SWAT at Nolan and Burton. Green Arrow sighted at Nolan and Burton."

"Sir, we don't want any trouble." Kara began.

He cut her off, "Yeah. Tell that to Oliver Queen here."

"Oliver, stand down." Oliver told me loud and clear.

I shot them all a look, stepping off the man, getting on my knees, dropping the gun, putting my hands behind my head, the officer coming up behind me first, handcuffing my wrists.

"We're gonna need Cisco's help on this one." Felicity's voice sounds as Cisco, Caitlin, Dig and I walk into the room her and Curtis were in after roaming the halls of ARGUS.

I was dressed in an simple white sweater, one that was tucked into my high waisted blue jeans, my legs exposed due to the many rips that I never seemed to put an end to, one of Barry's watches on my wrist, the necklace I wore every day dangling from my neck, white sneakers on my feet, my hair straight as per usual.

Cisco dramatically shouts, raising his hand, "I've been summoned!"

"Seriously?" I looked at him, holding my ear due to him practically screaming in my ear.

"That was a disturbingly coincidental entrance." Curtis chuckles.

"It wasn't coincidental." John exclaimed.

"We'd been getting the same red skies and freaky lightning in Central City, and I'll tell you this much- it wasn't speed force." Cisco's tone changed.

"Wait, wait. Hold up." Felicity pauses, ""We'd been," "wasn't," as in past tense?"

"Interestingly, the atmospheric phenomenon ceased the moment Barry and Oliver left Central City." Caitlin began.

"It's like it packed up its bags and followed them here." I gestured with my hands, "That's why we came. Since there wasn't much going on in Central City, we needed to find our entertainment elsewhere."

Cisco elbows me lightly because of my joke, causing me to clear my throat, Caitlin continuing, "The phenomenon has to be related to Barry and Oliver's-"

"Okay, Caitlin." John cut her off, putting a finger to his lips.

"Body swap?" Caitlin said hesitantly.

Curtis clears his throat, everyone slowly shifting into the awkward stage.

"I'm sorry-" Felicity looked between us all, "Body- body what?"

Cisco turned towards John, "You, uh you didn't tell her?"

-

[ barry's pov ]

"Um, excuse me, Officer." Oliver places his hands on the bars, "Were you able to get in touch with Laurel Lance at the Star City D.A.'s office?"

"Yeah. She said, uh, "I think a night in jail would do them some good."" The officer nodded at him, then looks away.

Oliver walks over to me, crouching over, looking down at me, his tone low, "What were you thinking?"

"That you were about to get yourself shot." I whispered back, "You're welcome."

"I was deescalating the situation, you know, like, uh-" Oliver began to argue.

"Like I would?" I question.

"Uh-huh!" He whispered the obvious.

"Guess what, man." I fought back in a whisper tone, "I handled it exactly how you would!"

"Okay." Kara got up, "You guys, maybe taking on each other's personalities worked for AMAZO, but you were not gonna talk your way out of getting mugged, and you escalated the situation way too fast."

I cross my arms, leaning back against the wall, "So what would you have done?"

"What I would have done is supersped us right out of there." She told us, "All they would have seen is a gust of wind."

"I mean, hindsight is 20/20, but we'll follow your lead next time." Oliver muttered.

"Because there will really be a next time when someone threatens 3 superheroes with a gun." Kara remarks, huffing.

"Good news." The officer came over, opening the cell, "Somebody posted your bail."

Kara begged the question, "Who?"

"I don't know." She shrugged, "Guess someone wanted to make you guys their headache instead of mine."

"We'll show ourselves out." Oliver said from behind Kara and I as we walked right out of there.

We came to a halt outside when a tall man dressed in a suit spoke, a black car behind him, "Please come with me."

"I'm guessing this belongs to whoever bailed us out." I stated the obvious, pushing my hands into my pockets.

"I really think we've had enough distractions for one night." Kara honestly said.

"Yeah. I agree with my friend." Oliver began, "We appreciate the early release, whatever, but we're really fine on our own."

The man moves his blazer to the side, showing the gun that rested in his holster, "I'm afraid my employer insists."

I scoff, looking up at the sky, "And you said it wouldn't happen again."

-

"Bruce Wayne got us out of jail?" Kara questioned, looking up at the building we had been dropped off at, "Doesn't sound like him."

"No, it wasn't." Oliver shook his head, "Wayne left Gotham 3 years ago."

"Why? To go where?" Kara followed up with another question.

"No one knows." Oliver shrugs.

"So who's manning the shop now?" I question, buttoning up my jacket.

Oliver gestures that he had no idea, and for us to lead the way, as we slowly stepped into the building.

"Apparently after he left, Bruce's board of directors went to town with a bunch of aggressive get-rich-quick deals." Oliver told us, looking around at the trashed place.

"Yeah, but an abandoned building didn't bail us out, right?" I slip my hands into my pockets.

Oliver hits my arm lightly, pointing up, my gaze following, my eyes landing on a woman.

"Whoa." Kara exhales, "That is definitely not Bruce Wayne."

The woman chuckles, looking down at me, "Oliver Queen."

I clear my throat, "Yeah, yeah. I'm Oliver Queen. And you are?"

"The rain on your parade." She shrugs, "If you're visiting Gotham to compare grappling hooks with Batman, you are out of luck. No one's seen him in years."

I turn and look at Oliver, a smile on my lips, "Told you."

"Myth." Oliver made it clear.

I looked at the woman as she came down by us, "I would never compare myself to a total badass like Batman."

"What I think Oliver is trying to say is thank you for getting us out of jail." Kara reworded.

"What Oliver's actually trying to say is who are you, and why are you helping us?" Oliver changed it up, questioning.

"Gotham has enough problems without a guy in green leather showing off his arrows to everyone, so the faster you find what you're looking for, the faster you can get the hell out of my city." She told us straight forward, the smirk on my lips forming.

"Uh, but, what what should we call you Rain, Ms.

Parade?" Kara asked.

"Kane, Kate Kane." She introduced, turning, walking towards the elevator, as we all followed right after her.

-

[ zee's pov ]

"You didn't tell her?" Caitlin questioned instantly once we were alone with John and Curtis.

"Oliver- the actual Oliver thought they had enough problems with Felicity already." Curtis explained.

"Oh, and you didn't think to loop us in on the fact that you were keeping the "Freaky Friday" situation on the hush?" Cisco asked, staring between them.

"I was thinking it was more like "Quantum Leap." I mean-" Curtis told us.

Cisco started, "No. If this were like "Quantum Leap," they'd only look like themselves when they see themselves in the mirror-"

"Guys-" I shut them both up by cutting in, "Shouldn't we concentrate on what this lightning came from?"

Catching us all off guard, Felicity walks in, all of us clearing our throats at once.

"Okay, guys." Felicity stares at us, "You don't need to tip-toe around me. It's just a lot to process. It's not every day that you find out that your ex is your husband and vice-versa."

"Yeah. Zee was, pretty freaked out, too, when she sussed it out." Cisco commented, looking down.

"Wait. Zee-" Felicity began, only to be cut off.

"You know, actually, Zee- right before you came in, Zee was just saying that we need to really handle that lightning-" Curtis started to ramble.

Felicity stops him, her eyes glued to me, "Zee, you were able to tell that something was off with Barry?"

"I- no-" The words seethed through my teeth, not knowing what to tell her.

"Oh, totally." Cisco spoke for me, cutting me off, "I mean, it was like lover's intuition. That's how you can tell these two were meant for each other-"

"Cisco-" I hit his arm lightly, staring at him with wide eyes, guilt filling within me.

"You know, Felicity, um, there's something very strange going on here, so I wouldn't take this as a commentary on you and Oliver's marriage." John spoke up, putting it in perfect words for me.

"No. My marriage with Oliver is strained by the fact that we've become different people- quite literally in Oliver's case." Felicity cleared her throat, then changes the subject, walking through us, "If the lightning strikes are attempted dimensional breaches, there might be a way to stabilize the quantum flux to allow whatever's trying to get through to get through, right?"

"Yeah." We agree with her instantly, as she starts to type away on her computer.

-

[ barry's pov ]

"How'd it go with Vesper?" Kara questioned as I walked onto the roof by her, Oliver and Kate.

"She hung up on me." I kept my hands in my pockets, "Apparently, I did sleep with her."

"The building is under renovation, so this is the best place for you guys to work out of." Kate began to walk away, "Oh, and the, uh, Wi-Fi password's "Alfred.""

"So if Vesper's not gonna help us, we're just back at square one." Kara huffs.

"No, we're not." Oliver showed us a device, "I lifted this off of a computer at the precinct. It should have the entire GCPD database."

"You stole data from the police?" I stare at him.

"No-" Oliver shook his head, "No. The Flash did it."

Oliver walks to the other side of the roof, a smile falling onto Kara's lips as she covers her mouth, trying to hold back her laughter.

I look at her, "It's not funny."

She swallows, "I'm not laughing."
