I walked downstairs, my eyes squinted slightly as I witnessed Barry run around our kitchen, preparing different things, before stopping by the counter, setting two plates with piles of waffles and pancakes on them, he smiles as he sees me, "Good morning."
"What is all this?" I mumble, a small yawn leaving my lips, Barry's sweatshirt fitting me like a dress, this being the first thing I grabbed to put on when I woke up, as I slowly walked over to him, my eyes scanning over everything. There were balloons, and a huge breakfast set out. "It's 6:30 in the morning."
"Was I too loud? I did make breakfast." Barry tosses the small towel he had in his hand onto a empty space on the counter, smiling like an idiot, "We got pancakes and waffles, some French toast, bacon and sausage, cooked perfectly. And I picked up your iced coffee you love so much."
I walk over to him, wrapping my arms around him, closing my eyes, covering his mouth with my sleeve, nuzzling my cheek into his soft shirt, "Shh-"
Barry smiles against my hand, before catching my wrist and removing it, "Tired?"
"You kept me up most of the night." I hint the eventful night we had, opening my eyes, looking around, noticing the Valentine's Day balloons once more, "Why did you do all of this?"
"Being with you makes me want to do stuff like this." Barry presses a kiss to my lips.
"Feel free to do whatever you want-" I look up at him, "Just next time, let's not make it this early in the morning? Especially if you were the reason I was up most of the night before. You're going to make me go completely sleep deprived."
"Noted." Barry smiles, pressing his lips into mine, mumbling between kisses, "I love you."
"I love you." I grip his collar, pulling him closer.

My eyes are wide once I walked into the Speed Lab where everyone was, confusion washing over me as my eyes scanned the decorations that were up. I was dressed in a pair of black jeans, a silk blue blouse tucked into it, my heels clicking against the ground, not paying attention to anyone in the room.
HR moves in front of me, holding many cards in his hands, wearing a ridiculous shirt under his blazer, throwing his hands in the air, "Friend's day!"
I shriek, startled, stumbling back lightly, Barry quickly behind me, placing his hand on my lower back, preventing me from falling backwards and embarrassing myself further, "I got you."
"What's- friend's day?" I ask quietly, placing a hand on Barry's chest as we stood up straight and on the side.
"It's my Earth's equivalent to Valentine's Day." HR explained, "And I thought, you know, after our big success with the gorillas, we should all celebrate the love."
"Was this all necessary?" Joe asks.
"Yeah, Joe. Speaking of where is your lady friend? I would like to-" HR starts, but Joe cuts him off.
"You wouldn't like to do anything." Joe shook his head towards her, "She's at work. Which is where I should be going." Joe says, turning around, leaving the room.

"Yeah, I-" Barry starts, turning around, probably heading in the same direction as Joe, my hands placing themselves on his shoulders, stopping him, as I jumped up and onto his back. Barry immediately grabbed onto my legs before I fell off his back, as I loosely wrapped my arms around his neck, nuzzling my face into his sweater.
Jesse's eyes land on the ring that rested on my finger, her eyes wide, she asks, clearly being left out the circle since she had just gotten back here from Earth Two. "Who's the lucky man?"
"Me-" Barry smiles cheekily, dragging out the word, his words reeking of proudness and happiness.
"The woman's on his back for crying out loud." Cisco pointed at us, "It's a dead giveaway that they're the ones engaged."
"Congratulations, guys." Jesse smiles at us softly, before HR quickly caught our attention once more.
"Look at what I have, ladies and gentlemen. Your own personal Friend's Day cards." HR walks around, passing them out, handing Barry and I one also.
"I'm loving this more than I should be." I lightly giggle, reading what HR had written on my card that he had so creatively decorated himself.
"Oh! I forgot the coffee!" HR ran out, earning another laugh from me, enjoying this way more than I should. Barry suddenly lets go of my legs, causing my eyes to snap wide open and quietly shriek his name, not wanting to fall, my legs starting to slip, but he is quick to grab my left thigh with his right hand, his left hand on the right side of my waist, pulling me around so I was facing him, seating himself on a step, placing me on his lap.
"You, Barry Allen-" I point at him with my card as everyone slowly depart from the Speed Lab, moving to go do their own thing, when Barry and I remained where we were, "I have a question for you."
"What's that question?" He wraps his arms around my waist, holding his card between his fingers.
"Will you be my friend?" I ask him, a hint of a smile playing at my lips, his lips breaking out into a wider smile than mine.
"Always." He leans into me, pressing one of many kisses on my lips.

Grodd was here. He had used Gypsy to open up the breach to our Earth, and was ready to set war between us and the gorillas. Wally had helped Harry into building some sort of advancement to Cisco's vibe goggles, which helped him vibe and figure out where Grodd was going to attack, so we could prevent it from happening all together, by stopping it before it happened. Joe and I had rallied CCPD at the location Barry had given us, but our plan had backfired when Grodd took over Joe's mind, and Joe almost took a bullet to the head if it weren't for Barry.
I was zoned out most of the time everyone was speaking on another plan, wrapping the navy blue jacket that had police written in white on the back I had put on earlier.

"Let's make it happen." Barry nods lightly, "Before Grodd tries to kill somebody else."
Barry leaves the room, his tension with the situation staying with me, which lead to me snapping out of my thoughts and following right after him, "Barry- are you okay?"
"Just tired of seeing people I care about being out in harm's way." Barry simply tells me, not even turning around, shoving his hands into his jean pockets, continuing to walk away.
"Yeah, but- you're The Flash. It's going to happen whether you're tired of it or not." I continued to follow him, "That's why you have a whole team. We're going to figure out a way to stop Grodd, and we're going to defeat him."
Barry stays silent, and continued to walk away from me, causing me to speak up again, "Barry- stop walking away from me, and talk to me about this."
Barry's footsteps come to a halt a few steps after he turns the hall, turning around, facing me, "Then what? He's just going to come back. We have to end this once and for all." Barry tells me, before turning again, walking away from me and down the hall, moving towards the elevator.
"Wait a minute." I catch his wrist, pulling him back, making him turn back around and face me, "You want to kill Grodd?"
"Why not?" Barry looks at me, considering it, "That's how their society in Gorilla City works- kill or be killed. That's why he wanted me to kill Solovar. And you know what? I should have. I showed too much mercy."
"We've been down this road before, Barry. You have considered killing before, and you know what? You haven't and you have always found another way because killing isn't who you are. You're a hero. You did the right thing by sparing Solovar. You're the good everyone needs, you killing would toss all of that out the window." I argue with him, placing my hands on my hips.
"Oliver's killed." Barry shot at me, "He's still considered a hero."
"He has to live with the weight of every person he's killed. You can't even begin to imagine the guilt he probably felt when he took someone's life. None of us can." My eyes slightly widening in shock from what I was hearing from Barry right now.
"I think sometimes, the only way to stop something is to get rid of what's causing them." Barry spoke his mind, his voice dangerously low.
"What is this really about, Barry?" I ask him, "Is this about Grodd, or is it about Iris?"
Barry goes silent for a second, before speaking up, "I kill Grodd. His attack never happens, that changes the future, and she lives."
"Barry, you're in over your head." I softly say, deeply sighing, "I know you want to prevent what might happen in the future. And trust me, we all do. But, destroying your humanity, the part in you that shows mercy, isn't the way to do it. And, we honestly don't even know if killing Grodd will even affect the future."
Barry's silence gives me the cue to continue, his eyes never breaking eye contact with mine, "Destroying what makes The Flash, The Flash, isn't a line you should cross, Barry. Your humanity is what separates you from everyone else. That's the reason that everyone looks up to you. We will find another way to defeat Grodd and save Iris. I know we can- you just have to be patient."
-
They had done it. Barry had found another way to defeat Grodd without killing him. He had gotten Solovar to come back and regain his place as leader, and sent every gorilla back home, leaving Grodd in Argus custody. Harry had returned home, back to his Earth, Jesse deciding to move here to our Earth, due to her new romance with Wally.
"The way Solovar just jumped out of no where? I was not expecting that one." I told Barry, as I sat on our bed, the soft sheeting rubbing against my bare legs, Barry standing by our closet, unbuttoning his shirt and changing into just a pair of joggers. He walks over to the bed, falling on top of me, sending me back, laying down with him, his arms wrapped around me, his face buried in my chest.
"And the way you convinced him to spare Grodd?" I say, "Sounds like you got the humanity you lost for a second back."
"I found another way." Barry smiled up at me softly, "You were right."
"I always am, Barry Allen." I say, kissing his cheek, reaching over and turning off the lamp, moving up the bed some more, Barry rolling off me and pulling the blanket over us, pulling me into his side, an arm under my head, his hand going to my hair, placing his other hand on my ribcage.
I lay in bed with him in silence for a while, Barry just playing with my hair, as we both awaited sleep. Thoughts rushed through my mind, thoughts I didn't know how to express. That was the problem with me, I could never stop thinking. The only time I wouldn't think as much as I usually do would be with I'm with Barry. When he's effortlessly taking my mind of my thoughts.
"You know," Barry's voice was quiet, "One of my dad's last words before Zoom killed him, was to marry you. Even in the given situation, he was looking out for my happiness. And you make me really happy."
"I'm happy that I met up with Henry's expectations." I whisper, lifting my hand up, my eyes fixed on my ring, "I never thought I'd be engaged to you, Barry Allen."
His eyebrows lightly furrow in confusion, his lips falling into a small pout, "That ring was and will always be meant to be on your finger."
I gave him a weak smile, pressing a small kiss to his lips, before turning onto my side that was facing him, burying my face into his arm, letting out a small yawn, as his arms wrapping around me tighter.

The Stars Have Eyes
The universe was a vast, empty, dark, and uncaring place. Then life happened, and the universe was changed forever. Only a teeny-tiny bit, but definitely different. Then again, the universe changes a teeny-tiny bit every second of every day. For instance, if someone were to get off the couch and randomly drink a glass of milk? Bam! One less glass of milk in the universe. Changed forever. Well, excluding any time-travel shenanigans, but anyone who puts a big old hole in the time-space continuum just to un-drink a glass of milk should really reevaluate their priorities. Unless, of course, they were attempting to prevent some massive catastrophe vis-a-vis said glass of milk. Such a scenario is by no means impossible, as one should never underestimate the importance of calcium. Another important tip for any life forms out there is to keep things in perspective. Some look at the vastness of creation in relation to themselves and go, ‘Man, this sucks!’ These people really need to narrow their focus. Sure, they will never affect anything happening on the other end of the galaxy, but so what? That’s way the heck over there, where it doesn’t matter. Therefore, in order to maintain a healthy mindset, it is important to narrow one’s perspective to the things and people that affect them, and that they can affect in turn. But what happens if one is an unfathomable cosmic being from beyond the veil of reality? What happens when such an existence is capable of influencing entire swathes of the universe just by its presence? A creature such as Magh'rathlak the Observer? That particular entity is only about average as far as reality-warping creatures from the dawn of time go, so its influence over the fabric of reality is rather limited. And it still struggles to keep things in perspective. That, among other things, is why it decided to narrow its worldview a bit by compressing the maddening vastness of its being into a single corporeal form. Magh'rathlak had never tried such a feat, but that wasn't about to stop it. After all, how hard could being human possibly be?

Blind As a Bat [1st book complete]
Book 1 He was cast to the edges of his clan. His father could not stand to even look at him. His baby sister probably didn't even know he was her brother... All because he, unlike all other vampire (The correct terminology will be Wanpyrkos; van-peer-coe-s) kind, was born blind. And what do all creatures do to those that are different, those that do not fit society, those that they think should not have been born to this civilized society...? [Book Cover Made by the wonderful THEMIDNIGHTECLIPSE13] - thank you! I'm only introducing the perspective of the main character for the first part. Things change drastically soon after that. [BDSM entries are clearly marked and written so they can be skipped without affecting the story] ***A couple scenes to whet your palate*** 1. "Uh, we heal from pretty much everything and anything. Have you ever tried physically damaging your eyes to see if they would fully heal?" "N-no. No, it doesn't work," I forced out, my voice a little strangled and cracking before hardening. "And stuff like that, isn't that just wrong?! Hurting someone just to 'fix' them." 2. I leaned and he met me, our soft lips touching and moving perfectly on each other's. I felt as his tongue ran the slit of my lips, my tongue coming to graze it as it passed over, knowing doing so was like catnip to him. He leaned closer, and I shivered as his hands ran from low on my hips and grazed along and up my ribs, pulling my chest closer to his so my body arched and rubbed against him. I hummed in appreciation. [warning: so far aggressive or physical bullying and maybe a little kidnappage and sexual themes as well as possible trigger warnings]
