Tar pit was our new meta. He had the power to generate heated tar from his own body. He was our new threat, and Barry getting slower wasn't helping the situation. We had noticed Barry's reduce in his speed when he wasn't fast enough to save Iris from a shard of glass that pierced her shoulder later that night.
I walked into her hospital room, dressed in a forest green sweater, black jeans and black ankle boots. I stepped in, playing with my meta human power dampening bracelet, I see her awake, Joe sitting next to her in a chair by her bed.
"Hey-" I say quietly, walking over to her, crossing my arms. "You okay?"
A small nod comes from her, as she speaks, her voice tired and weak, "I'm okay."
Iris and I make some small talk before I leave, leaving her and Joe alone again.
I leave the hospital, stepping outside into the cold air, the heels of my boots clicking on the sidewalk. I hear footsteps behind me, but ignore them, as I continued to walk towards my car.
Before I could process what was happening, a hand was over my mouth, and around my waist. I go to elbow the person, but I freeze when I see Zoom standing right in front of me, dead silent.
The person holding onto me, slightly tilts my face to the side, before leaning closer to my ear, whispering in a low voice, "Hello, doppelganger."
-
My eyes snap open after a while of being out, as I sat up quickly, being pulled back down by ropes and the fact that I was tied to a chair. I struggle against the tight ropes, holding my breath in hopes that it would increase my strength, but let it out immediately, a little whimper of pain leaving my lips.

"You're finally awake." A voice says from behind me, as the sound of heels clicked against the floor, in a motion that signaled that this person was circling around me, as they came to a stop in front of me.
It was a woman, a eye mask was covering my face, her dressed in a suit that was similar to the super suit Cisco had made me.
She rubbed her lips together, that were covered in red lipstick, as she slowly took off her eye mask, a smirk touching her lips, revealing who she was behind the mask.
My doppelganger.
"Where am I?" I ask, my eyes slightly wide due to the sight in front of me. I didn't think my doppelganger would be a villain like every other meta that came to our earth, and it sucked.
"Welcome to Earth Two." She says, her fist coming in contact with my cheek with force, making my head snap sideways, I having no reaction to it, due to being kidnapped before, and being hurt so many times, although, I could feel the anger build up inside of me as she hit me.
I move my head so it's facing her again, my features fixed into a glare as she speaks, "So, how do you like it here so far?"
"What do you want from me?" I ask directly.
"Well-" She starts as she walks over to some sort of table, grabbing a wipe as she starts to wipe away the makeup she had on from her face, "All the metas that Zoom had sent from here to your earth to kill the Flash- haven't worked. So, I have decided to take matters into my own hands." She explains, before throwing out the wipe, grabbing mascara and lip gloss, applying them both.

"So- you brought me to Zoom's lair?" I ask, staring at her, before my gaze drifts around the room, a man with a mask in a glass box, as if it was some sort of cell or cage, and a girl, cuffed to chains in another cage.
"That's where you are, yes. But-" She walks out the room for a second, then comes back in, dressed in a pair of light high wasted ripped jeans, a oversized navy blue sweater and black heeled ankle boots. "Barry- along with everyone else- is going to think, you're home."
My eyes widen, "You're going to pretend- you're me."
"I mean, it can't exactly be that hard- I already look like you." She says, taking a step closer to me, a pout falling on her lips when I start to tear up. "I'm going to break him from the inside. Then- he won't be anywhere near his full when he's actually fighting. He'll be too hurt to pay attention to what he should really be focusing on."
I stay silent, as a few tears slip my eyes, as she speaks again, this time calling out someone's name, "Zoom!"
My breathing halts, as I heard the electricity that was radiating around and off of him come closer as he walks over to us slowly, his eyes dark through his mask.
"It's time." She says, as she grabs some sort of camera, as Zoom stands behind me, causing a small sob of fear to leave my mouth.

[ barry's pov ]
All the screens in the cortex were taken over by a video, as I was already stood there with Harry, Cisco, Caitlin.
My hands were holding my phone, as I was dialing Zee's number, knowing she didn't come home last night, worry was taking over me as I hadn't look at the screen yet, wanting Zee to answer my phone call first.
"Barry-" Cisco's voice trailed off, as I knew they were all staring at the screen but me, but I stayed silent and waited for Zee to answer my call.
My gaze drifted away from the ringing from the call as I looked right at the screen the minute I heard Zee's sobs. My eyes widen instantly as I see Zoom behind Zee, his hand grasping her hair, pulling her head back, tears down her face, her completely tied to a chair.
"Hello, Flash." Zoom's voice echoed through the cortex, as Zee's choked sobs got quieter.
"Let her go. Let her go- right now." I say, my voice getting louder, as I stepped closer to the screen.
"What is her life worth to you?" He spats before the entire video cuts out, the screens turning back to normal.
Caitlin and Cisco were already typing away on their computers as I spoke out of stress, looking over their shoulders, "Track where that video came from-"
Harry cuts me off, as he looks at the three of us, speaking in realization, "You can't."
"Why the hell not? He's got Zee kidnapped-" Cisco replies for all of us.
"Because she's on Earth Two." Harry answers.

Cultivating Earth [Hiatus]
[This fiction is on indefinite hiatus. I'm currently acting as a 24-hour caregiver for my step-father who had a massive heart attack. I apologize for disappearing so quickly, but sometimes that's just life. I'll return as soon as possible. Sorry everyone!] Zhao Gang, after hundreds of thousands of years cultivating, has finally reached the penultimate threshold. He is ready to ascend to the level of True Immortal. Driven by the need for a place his enemies won't find him, Zhao Gang puts together an audacious plan. He has developed a revolutionary new formation which will allow him to ascend while on even the lowest planes. To avoid drawing attention, he has to choose a plane that is relatively desolate, however. He chooses Earth. Fast forward three thousand years. Zhao Gang discovers what his work has wrought - a cultivation-free culture that has delved the deep mysteries of creation - he can't help but think how this tiny little planet devoid of natural energy could affect the course of all creation. There's only one problem. For that to happen, he has to succeed in cultivating Earth. Notes: Chinese names should be ignored in the social context - they don't mean anything. Sorry for slaughtering such a beautiful tradition. This novel starts off slower than most. If the slow-roll isn't your thing, you might want to give this a pass. If it's not for you, I understand. Also, releases may be broken up into smaller chunks. The goal is 5k words, but definitely more than 4k. If you see a short release, be aware that more is probably coming. I'll be honest and say that I'm struggling with each new scene, if only because I want to balance the scope of vision with good pacing. I hope the work I put into it is worthwhile.

Will Calixa keep her head high as she discovers herself and her power, or will she be washed away and forgotten by history, as just another domain that couldn't stand the test of time? Authors Note: This is a very slow burn dungeon core/Kingdom building novel, that puts more emphasis on the MC and her experinces then it will side characters.
