I was dressed in a long burgundy dress, courtesy of Iris West, who had helped me get ready. I wore heels that went with my dress, and my makeup was as light as it could be, it consisting of just some mascara, concealer, and lip gloss. My hair was curled, as with that, I was on my way to the ball. My phone buzzed on my way there, signaling that I had gotten a text message.

unknown: tonight.

I huff, ignoring it and soon completely forget about it. I slowly walk in, seeing Barry, readjusting my comm that was connected to my watch, that went with my outfit.

Barry looks at me, and flashes of fear and hurt flash in his eyes, as I approach him, causing me to stop in my tracks. "Are you okay?" I ask, grabbing Barry's face, making him look at me, snapping him out of whatever trance he was in. "Hey, look at me."

His eyes slowly fall onto me, as he lets out a breath, "What's wrong?"

"Can we talk about this later, please?" Barry begs quietly, as a sigh leaves my lips, a small nod coming from me.

His eyes trail down, and back up, "You look stunning." Barry says to me, a small grin on his lips, a chuckle of amusement leaving his lips.

"Iris West works miracles." I say, a small smile on my lips, as he pecks my lips, "You're beautiful all the time, though." He says, as I smile.

Cisco's voice fills the comm's, "Alright, Barry. Less time on the girlfriend, more time on the Turtle."

"Jesus Christ, Cisco." I mutter, my hand going to my chest, due to his sudden incoming through the comm's.

"Sorry-" Cisco says, as I shake my head lightly, and Barry speaks, looking between Caitlin, Jay and I, "All right, keep your eyes open for the Turtle. A sentence I never thought I would say."

A small laugh leaves my mouth as I peck his lips, and walk around with him, looking around cautiously, as Caitlin and Jay did the same.

Barry grabs my hand, pulling me by where everyone was dancing and stops in the center, one hand holding mine, the other on my waist, mine free hand on his shoulder.

"Aren't we supposed to be keeping an eye out?" I ask quietly, as I slowly danced with him.

"Yes- and we are, while we're dancing." Barry says, a smile on his face.

We dance for a little, before Barry noticed the Turtle and Cisco told us he had eyes on him. "Go-" I tell Barry, stepping away from him, before he nods quickly, walking off and before I knew it, Barry was here as the Flash, standing at the staircase and the Turtle was holding a gun towards some women next to me. I slowly move the women to the side, as Turtle's aim is now at me, seeing that I moved that women out of the way. "Giving yourself up for someone you don't know? Not a smart choice."

I stay silent, staying put as he looks up at sees Barry, "This is a trap? I'm slow, not stupid." He speaks. He shoots the chandelier above me, causing it to break and start to fall, my eyes watched everything, not blinking, as Barry comes over to me as fast as he could, through how strong the Turtle's power was, as shoved me out the way, getting crushed under the chandelier. I fall to the ground, my head hitting it, my vision slightly blurry. The entire place went dark, making everything ten times worse.

I feel myself being picked up by someone, and being taken out of where everything happened, fast footsteps carrying me out.

With that, I passed out.

A small cough leaves my lips as pain stings through my entire body, my lower back being completely sore. My eyes slowly open, as I brought my head up from where it was laid on, it being laid on the head of the chair I was apparently sitting in.

I try to move my hands, but they wouldn't budge. My sight adjusts to the combination of the darkness and lightness of the room.

I was in some sort of basement or so I thought, but it was somewhere I wasn't familiar with. I slowly glance around, noticing myself ties to a chair, ropes around my waist, tied around the chair, keeping me held, along with my legs being tied together by my ankles, and my wrists tied behind my back.

I assumed it was the Turtle's doing at first, but then I realized it wasn't just the Turtle. Turtle was sitting in the corner, doing something of his own.

My eyes fall onto Peter, who had his arms crossed, a devious grin plastered on his face, as he spoke,

"Long time no see, princess."
