《The Soul Of A Night Fury [How To Train Your Dragon] EDITING》Something Different

It's bright the next morning. Hiccup and I are once again meeting in the Cove. Except it wasn't a race this time. He left early this morning like he always does. I just left now. There was something about Hiccup that wasn't right. I don't know what it was, but whatever it was it can't be too important. Yesterday was the first time I saw him in a week.
After the Red Death Battle, he wasn't allowed to leave his house until he was completely stable with walking. So it might just be me thinking he's different when he's really not. I flew down to the cove then landed.
Toothless was asleep upside down on a tree branch. His wings were wrapped around him like a bat and his tail was curved over the branch covering his face. Hiccup was over the spring drawing with a stick. I get off of Stormfly then go to him. "Hey," I say to him.
He turns as he looks at me. "Morning M'lady!"
M'lady? "What have you been doing?" I asked sitting next to him.
"Nothing really. Toothless has been napping since we got here, so I've been doing my own thing." He explains.
"Oh," He sighed then tossed the stick in the water. It landed making a splash but hit something that sounded metal. "What was that?" I asked.
"I dunno." I watch Hiccup stand up then walk to the edge of the spring. He grabs a long stick then pulls whatever the first stick hit. He picked up a small knife. "Oh, it's just my knife," he says then sits down.
"Why's it in the water?"
"I threw it into the water when I first met Toothless, I had to gain his trust."

"Does you're dad know you threw it away?" I ask.
"Nope," The knife was his dad's. I remember him getting it when both he and I were younger. "That's not a problem now. I have it now." Hiccup adds then puts it back under his vest in his belt loop where he always had it. "It's a good thing I found it," he says slowly.
"Wasn't that your dad's?" I ask.
"Well yeah, but my mother gave it to my dad to give to me. It's my mothers," he said then looked down.
"It's a part of you're mom," I say.
"So is this helmet," he says picking up the Viking helmet beside him. He looked upset now. I do feel bad for him. He's never met his mother. Everyone has their parents, but he's always been in a single-parent household. "It keeps her close." He said with a small laugh. Just then Toothless crept up beside him. He must've woken up. Hiccup scratched Toothless behind the ears. "Yeah, I'm okay bud." He says to the dragon.
Stormfly behind me. Hiccup stood up slowly. Toothless suddenly snorted then bolted past us to Stormfly. I laugh then walk to Hiccup. "You'd think he has a crush on her," I say to him. Hiccup laughed a little watching the two dragons.
"Deadly Fury dragons!" he says mixing the two breeds.
"It could be Night Nadder!" I say.
"No, Deadly Fury, sounds better."
I have to admit, it does doing cool. "Okay, you win," I say then start laughing. He laughs a little. Just then Stormfly came racing between us making the ground shake. Toothless tore behind her trying to keep up. He knocked Hiccup down with his tail, hitting him in the face with his prosthetic fin. I laugh harder going to him. "You okay?" I ask him for helping him up.

He dusted himself off. "Yeah, I'm fine,"
He looks down as he continues to dust himself off. "Well, as long as you're okay," I tell him sternly as a joke.
"Hey don't worry about me, I'm fine," he says then looks up.
I gasp as he does. "You're eyes," I say instantly.
"What?"
The pupils in his eyes were little slits. Like claws. "You're eyes are like little slits," I start.
"... And they're blue!"

Except, when a mugger accosts Cadence and her boyfriend attempts to wrestle a gun away from the criminal, Cadence ends up shot. A normal girl, with the kind of wound Cadence had, would die. Cadence managed to do that part. But a normal girl wouldn't then open her eyes again and learn that death is not as permanant for her as it is for other people. She can be reborn again, and again. Thomas the Brawler
Thomas doesn't remember what his last name was, before it became Bluebrim, a name belonging to another universe. He's also pretty sure he wasn't this stupid before he arrived, but what can you do, when a day that was supposed to begin with an interview to set your life back on track instead begins in a universe that makes no sense, with rules you can't begin to understand? Maybe he should have paid more attention to the avatar creation screen ... Content warnings: All of them. Seriously. Expect lots of blue screens to begin with. Don't expect a power-leveling fantasy, in which the lone hero beats up all the bad guys, and gets a harem of women. There's just a guy who treats character creation like an annoying series of pop-up advertisements, and the story is basically the ramifications of that. The main character has to learn to take the world he's found himself in seriously, and he'll learn the way most of us do, by doing it wrong first. This is, insofar as it is successful, a dark comedy fantasy. Also a bit of horror, particularly but not exclusively body horror. I'm pretty sure I've earned those Content Warning tags, so, uh, yeah. This is practice. Hopefully things improve as I go, and figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I make no guarantees things will ever get better. I've already made mistakes, I'll make more, and I'm happy to notice them each time I make them. You don't improve unless you fail. (On the plus side, it probably won't get much worse.) Feel free to point out anything you think I'm doing wrong; I don't promise to change anything, particularly if it's a matter of taste, but I am looking to improve, and figuring out what I need to improve goes faster if I don't have to try to figure it out myself. I've updated the earlier chapters for formatting, in the hope that it would make everything easier to read on mobile devices. Hopefully things work slightly better now, but please let me know if there are any issues anywhere.

Death Galaxy
When portals opened across the world and space, people were a bit terrified. Naturally, some people called it the end times or some other negative interpretation. Thankfully, the new arrivals managed to calm the masses, saying they were here from across dimensions in search of peaceful refuge. After some discussion and promise from the reality hopers to not break the world, they were allowed asylum. And so, began a technological revolution as the new cohabitants, who looked distinctly human if a bit off, openly shared some of their knowledge with us. Space travel, while not cakewalks, become more easily accessible, as did interplanetary colonization. Naturally, with the New Humans keeping some of the more dangerous techs to themselves and Old Humans being a greedy bunch, tensions are arising as old and new grudges rear their ugly heads. The world endlessly spins as history, both good and bad, is seemingly on its way to repeating itself. Only with other planets, and potentially other universes, being the backdrop this time. But that was big stuff that Alex had no real interest in. They only care about one thing and one thing. TDAG. Trans-Dimensional Adventure Games. Best VR system ever made. Alex, instead of focusing on political and multiverse shenanigans, had their eyes set on VR games. Specifically, one of the new and up and coming potential best games of all times. Death Galaxy
