Five easily teleported the both of them inside Reginald's old car. [Name] still felt a little nauseated but it's not as bad as it was the first time around, she supposes she's getting used to it.

"Where's the address?" He asked as soon as he noticed that she's fine again.

"Ah! Here," she abided, giving the calling card left to her by the older man named Michael.

"And you're sure we could trust this man?" He inquired skeptically, starting the engine.

"Again, I genuinely do not know, but I mean.. nothing bad would happen if we just check, right?" She asked a little helplessly, gazing at him for reassurance.

"Besides being possibly killed or kidnapped? Sure, nothing can go wrong," he answered sarcastically, causing her to grumble in indignation.

"Now you just jinxed it," she tutted with a pout, gazing back out the window.

When they arrived, they saw that the house was a little ways away from the city, surrounded by quaint Victorian houses.

"See? We're fine," she commented as they exited the car, seeing the man outside who was clearly pleasantly surprised upon catching sight of her.

"Come, come," he invited them over, an obvious spring to his step. "Ruth! Athena's daughter is here, I'm telling you!" He suddenly called out as they entered.

The duo looked around the house, noticing picture frames at the walls as they were ushered to sit on the couch.

"Do you two want anything?" He asked as another woman came through the doorway entering the living room, gasping in shock as she hurriedly walked in front of the girl and kneeled in front of her, grasping hold her hands.

The duo were surprised when the woman suddenly started sobbing, the girl panicking as she pulled the woman to sit beside her causing Five to stand up and sit on the other armchair as the woman, Ruth, hugged a confused [Name]. She looked up at Five helplessly, who merely shrugged, the girl silently cursing him as she patted the woman's back awkwardly.

"You're like a spitting image of your mother. Where is she? How did you find a way to get back here?" She asked as she gazed at the doorway, seemingly waiting for someone to appear.

"Ah, well, no, my mom isn't here. I just.. appeared out of nowhere, really." She hesitantly replied. "But that's why we're here, I wanted to know how sir Michael knows about my mom." As she nodded towards the man sitting on the right armchair.

"Just call me Michael, dear. And I suppose you do need an explanation, wait here, I'm grabbing a picture of your mom." He said as he stood up and left the room.

"I'm sorry about that, but do you two need anything? Hot chocolate, perhaps?" Ruth asked as she stood up, wiping away tears.

[Name] opened her mouth to accept when Five stopped her, saying, "We're fine." The woman nodding and smiling at the two.

"I'll just be leaving you two first, then, I just need to fix myself." She said with a smile and left them.

Five immediately stood up from the armchair and sat next to her, the girl glaring up at him. "That was rude."

"I don't trust them," he hissed as he kept a grip on her wrist.

"You always don't trust people," she retorted. "But, I mean, I don't really feel any bad vibes from them, and my mom always tells me to believe in my instinct. And right now? My instinct isn't telling me anything." She looked at him with raised brows.

"Obviously I still don't know if what they're saying is true, that we came from here and that my mom just never thought to tell it to us, or it isn't and I was wrong in believing them.. But then if that's the case, you will just teleport us away." She continued with a soft smile at him, grabbing his hand from her wrist and holding it loosely.

He seemed to relax at this and didn't pull his hand away as Michael returned holding a photo album.

"Here, see?" He said, showing the album with [Name] grabbing it and looking at the page it was on, seeing a younger version of her mum with the two adults in their younger years.

"We were childhood friends before she suddenly disappeared when we turned 20. Came back to us when we were around 30? Wasn't it?" He paused and looked at Ruth for confirmation who mouthed, " 28."

"28," he nodded. "..bearing a child saying she needed to hide you because the organization she was working for was hunting her. I don't even remember what it was because it was almost 20 years ago now." He mused and grabbed the book again to turn the pages, stopping at a photo of a baby and removed it from the plastic as he checked the back of it. "Here, yeah, I remembered she said you were born on the first day of that month." Showing the back that had the date – Oct 7 1989, that caused the two to look at each other in shock.

"I was.. born on October 1st 1989?" She clarified, searching the man's eyes in agitation.

He looked at them in confusion, not knowing what they were going on about but answering, "Yeah, yes." She gasped in disbelief, looking up again at Five in incredulity.

Thinking about it now, she did realize that for someone born in the year 200X, she never had pictures of her baby self, only those with her dad (that she later got to know wasn't her actual dad but was too afraid to ask her mom who was her actual father), with her being around two years old at that point. It would make sense if her mom was just getting used to the universe if that were what actually happened.

"Do you know who my dad is?" She asked hesitantly, afraid that it might be a sensitive subject.

"Ah sorry kid, I have no idea. She never did tell us and we were too busy helping her to ask." He replied apologetically. "Did she never tell you?"

"No, unfortunately, I was afraid that maybe it's a sensitive subject for her," she responded softly, looking at the picture of her younger mom, surprised when she felt Five's hand at her back, rubbing circles on it causing her to look up at him seeing him giving her a lopsided smile.

"But then how did you get back here? She told me that she got news from her partner that they could try and use the project they've been working on, which was crossing through dimensions, and that she said she don't really know if she could come back?" Michael asked, sitting down on the armchair and moving forward to lean towards the two.

"That, I do not know. I just suddenly appeared next to him," as she pointed at Five. "On a portal, apparently."

"She also told us about time travel, I suppose that's why you're still quite young?" Ruth asked as she entered, much more calm now as she sat parallel with her husband.

"I guess? My mom never really told me that I wasn't born in the year 200X nor born in the same universe, for that matter, but I'd assume that would be the case." She shrugged.

"But what type of job would mom have that would get her a partner and a project about crossing dimensions of all things.." slowly trailing off upon realizing what it could possibly be as she met gazes with Five who was already staring at her in astonishment.

"Was it called the Commission?" He asked sharply when the man was about to speak, Michael stopping with a frown as he thought it over.

[Name] felt her heart pump faster as pieces started falling together, her mom missing for years around her 20s, then appearing and having a kid and afraid that they would be hunted by her job, and then a project about parallel universes. Only thing she could think of was that her mom was working for the Commission, but then a lot of things didn't make sense. Like why didn't her mom tell her anything about this? And in all of time and space, how did she get back here if she was indeed from this same universe?

She didn't even know where to start asking the questions when Ruth finally answered. "Yes! It's that. I remembered because of how odd it was for a company name, but then knowing about everything Athena told us over those few weeks she stayed here before leaving, I suppose it wasn't much of a surprise at that point."

Ruth then started telling them everything she could recall, like her mom saying she worked as a time traveling agent to get rid of the wrong things in time. She said that her mom didn't really like doing it, but had no choice because she thought everybody she'd loved had already died. That her mom had a partner, and they did this project that was approved by their boss where they try to cross dimensions. Here, Ruth had no idea how it came to fruition, only that they'd been working on it for almost five years and that what they did was a really risky move.

".. Your mom said it was their last chance to get out of here and to finally stop the other agents from hunting them down. We obviously disagreed, but she told us it was the only choice, and that if she didn't, we might be dragged down with her."

"I told her not do it because they weren't even certain it could work and that it would be dangerous, but apparently it was worth it than running for most of her life because her bosses would never leave her alone." Michael continued solemnly.

They were surrounded by silence before [Name] looked down at the picture of a baby version of her as well as her mom's, then gazing up at Michael again, "Can I keep this? You know, in case I get to come back to my family and ask mom about it."

"No problem, kiddo," He replied with a soft smile. "I'm happy I got to meet you, I was afraid I'd never get to see you or your mom again," which she replied with a smile.

But then, another piece of information struck her, "Wait, so I'm supposed to be 30 now?" She asked with a gasp.

"Technically," Ruth nodded with an amused smile. "But y'know? Time is relative."

"But still! I'm 30! I feel so old," she added, covering her mouth in absolute shock.

"No you're not, you're 18. Stop being dramatic," Five quipped with an eye roll, albeit with a small amused smirk etching his face.

"Well, it's almost lunch time, so do you two want to eat here?" Ruth asked, tilting her head.

"Ah, no, no, we've already bothered you enough. I think we should go back now so we could process.. everything," [Name] answered almost breathlessly as she gazed off into the distance.

The couple acquiesced, nodding and stood up, ready to bid the two youngins goodbye, when gunshots suddenly started firing throughout the house.
