Jake's POV

I woke up to see the sun shining in our window in our room. I looked to my left and saw Izzy still asleep. That's weird usually she's screaming at me to get up so I can help her out of bed since she's still on crutches. It's been a week since her surgery and two weeks since she fractured her toe. She's been doing great but she's scared to walk again but today is her physio therapy to help her walk again. I got out of my bed and went over to Izzy. I saw that her head was covered by her duvet.

"Izz...Izz...wake up...wakey wakey, eggs and bakey." I whispered as I shook her 'awake'. It turns out that she was awake and she didn't want to get up. She turned over on her back as she sat up.

"Morning Izz, are you ready for your physio therapy today?" I asked her as I sat down on her bed. She rolled her eyes.

"No Jake! I don't want to go to my physio therapy!" She yelled at me, upset.

"Izz, what's wrong? Why don't you want to go?" I asked her.

"I'm scared! What if I can't actually walk again?" Izzy asked me as she was scared.

"Izzy, the doctor said that your surgery was successful and you were only in the hospital overnight. So you will be able to walk again. The physio therapy will be a huge help for you. Don't worry about it." I exclaimed as I stroked her hair. Cubby came in with her breakfast on a tray. Izzy's had to eat her breakfast in bed due to not being able to get out of bed by herself.

"Here's your breakfast Izzy. Enjoy." Cubby says as he placed her breakfast on tray on her lap.

"Thanks Cubby." Izzy says as she started to eat her breakfast.

"How you feeling about having physio therapy today?" Skully asked her.

"She's just very nervous about her physio therapy but I told her that she's going to do amazing." I exclaimed as I rubbed Izzy's shoulder. They agreed with me.

"Yeah Izzy, you'll do amazing." Cubby says. Izzy softly smiled.

"Thanks guys but I'm still scared about it." Izzy says.

"I know you are Izz, and it's normal to feel like that. But when you go there, can you try and be brave like when you were for your surgery?" I asked her as I held her hand.

"Okay I'll try Jake." Izzy says. "When is my appointment?" She asked me.

"It's at 10:00 am." I said.

"Okay let me go and get change and we can go to my appointment." Izzy says as Cubby got the tray off of her lap. I helped her out of bed and I got her crutches and she uses them to go to her closet.

Once Izzy was ready. We all boarded Bucky to go to Izzy's physio therapy. We got to the hospital and we went to the physio therapy reception.

"Hello, when is Isabella Rose Green's appointment?" I asked the receptionist.

"It's in twenty minutes. You can take a seat in the waiting room and wait until her physio therapist comes." The receptionist told me.

"Thank you." I say as we sat down in the waiting room, well I helped Izzy to sit down. As we were waiting, I felt Izzy elbowed me in the chest.

"Ow...what was that for?" I asked her.

"For saying my full name." She simply said.

"I had no choice but to use your full name Izz. Besides they don't know you unless you tell them that your name is Izzy then they're going to call you Isabella." I exclaimed.

"Oh don't worry I will." She says.

After we were waiting for Izzy to be called in for her appointment.

"Isabella Rose Green?" The Physio Therapist called for her.

"C'mon Izz, I'll help you." I exclaimed as I helped her walk to the Physio Therapist room.

"Jake! Can you please stay with me? I'm still scared." Izzy asked me.

"Sure. Can I stay with her?" I asked the Physio Therapist.

"Of course, you can help her as well." He said.

Izzy's POV

As me and Jake sat down, well he helped me to sit down since I can't do it by myself.

"So the doctor told me that you like to be called by Izzy. Is that right?" He asked me.

"Yes. Izzy is my name." I said.

"Okay let's start." He said as he got out his chair.

"Okay, you won't need this cast on your foot and toe." He said as he took my cast off my foot and toe. Thank god. As I looked at my toe, I saw my scar from my surgery.

"Okay the first exercise we're going to do is walking on it." The physio therapist said as he and Jake helped me get up from my seat but I was too scared. What if I fall?

"Jake, I'm scared. What if I fall? What if it all fails?" I asked Jake as I was scared.

"Izz, if you fall then we will catch you. Don't worry you can do this." Jake exclaimed as he held onto my shoulder while the physio therapist was on the other side.

So I started to walk, with Jake's and the physio therapist's help as well. It was scary at first but I had Jake with me, so it wasn't that scary. I did get pain in my big toe but I came to use to it. Sort of.

"You're doing great Izzy." The physio therapist said.

"Thank you." I say as I continued to focus on my feet walking. I continued to walk with help from them.

"Keep going Izz!" Jake exclaimed to me. I tried to keep going but it really started to hurt to walk.

"I'm trying but it's starting to hurt!" I exclaimed as I felt pain in my foot.

"Can I take a break please?" I asked the physio therapist.

"Are you starting to feel pain in your foot?" The physio therapist asked me as I nodded my head really fast.

"Okay you can take a break." He exclaimed as he and Jake helped me to walk back to the chair.

"Careful Izzy careful." Jake exclaimed as he helped me to sit back down in the chair.

"Jake...I don't think I can do this anymore." I said to him as I looked into his eyes.

"What? But we only...I mean we...I mean I...I mean you! You only just started and now you want to give up?" Jake asked me as he was surprised that I wanted to give up.

"I know Jake I know but it's getting harder and harder as we go along. I don't want to do this anymore." I exclaimed as I started to cry. Jake wiped some of my tears away.

"Are you sure you don't want to keep doing this?" Jake asked me.

"Yes. I'm sorry Jake but I'm sure that I don't want to do this." I exclaimed.

"So are you ready to continue with the physio therapy?" The physio therapist asked me as Jake put my cast back on my toe.

"I'm sorry sir, I don't want to do this anymore." I exclaimed to the physio therapist and he started to look disappointed.

"Wait, can I have a long time with Izzy? I need to talk to her." Jake asked the physio therapist but I looked at Jake confused.

"Sure Jake, take all the time you need. If you need me I'll be in my office doing paperwork." The physio therapist exclaimed before he started to walk away.

"Jake, what are you doing?" I asked him.

"Izzy, you can't give up now. You made it so far from your surgery. You need to do this." Jake exclaimed to me.

"Huh? But Jake, I don't want to do this anymore!!!" I yelled at him, which he jumped back.

"Izzy, you're going to make a scene of yourself." Jake exclaimed as he covered my mouth but I moved his hand from my mouth.

"I don't care! If I'm making a scene Jake! I don't want to do this anymore!!!" I yelled at him once again. He got down on one knee in front of me.

"Izzy, you are going to do the physio therapy. If you like it or not. Like I said before you need to do this. If you don't do this then you won't be able to walk, run, or even dance because you'll be spending the rest of your life on crutches or possibly even in a wheelchair. Do you really want that to happen?" Jake exclaimed as he really made me think about it. I really wouldn't like that to happen to me.

"N-n-no Jake, I wouldn't want that to happen to me. You're right, I should keep doing this as I really want to walk, run, and dance again but it's just so hard Jake." I stuttered at first before explaining to Jake. He took holt of my hand as he was still on one knee in front of me.

"I know it is hard Izz but I know you can do this. I believe in you, we all do. Remember a Neverland Pirate never gives up." Jake exclaimed as he squeezed my hand as I smiled. He's right, I should never give up.

The physio therapist came back over to us.

"So Izzy, are you going to continue?" The physio therapist asked me. I nodded.

"Yes I'm going to continue. I would also like Jake to help me with some exercises." I exclaimed.

"Of course I'm going to help you Izz." Jake exclaimed as he hugged me. "So sir, what is her next exercise?" Jake asked the physio therapist.

"So her next exercise is leg lifting, since she needs to put pressure back onto her leg." The physio therapist exclaimed. "Izzy, come and lie down on this bed." The physio therapist asked me. So I did, well with Jake's help. He lift me onto the bed as I lied down on it. "Okay Jake can you put her leg through the band?" He asked Jake as Jake nodded and helped me put my leg through, which it was levelled.

"So Izzy, what you are going to do is lift your leg up and down slowly. So like this." The physio therapist exclaimed as he put his hand on my foot and slowly lift my leg up and down. He did it three times until I was doing it myself. It was very tiring but I kept pushing myself through it. I didn't stop.

"Keep going Izz, you're doing amazing. I'm so proud of you." Jake exclaimed while I smiled. He's proud of me.

"That's it. That's enough. You have done excellent so far." The physio therapist told me as he took my leg out of the band and put it down. "So for the last exercise of the day, you still need to lie down, so I want you to lay your leg flat down like a pancake." The physio therapist told me what to do.

"So this is called twirling your big toe." The physio therapist exclaimed. "As you are circling your toe around, you may feel some pain but that's normal for some people. You are doing this for ten seconds." The physio therapist informed me. So I was circling my toe around for ten seconds. I did feel some pain in my toe but that didn't stop. Sort of. Okay the pain did make me want to stop but I knew I just had to keep going.

"Okay you are done. The session is over now. I'll see you back in two days." The physio therapist exclaimed as Jake got my crutches for me and he helped me off the bed.

"Thank you for having her, I know this will really help her even she thinks it will be hard." Jake thanked the physio therapist as I thanked him as well. We went back to Cubby and Skully.

"How was it?" Cubby asked first.

"Did it go okay?" Skully asked last.

"The physio therapy went great for Izzy. She wanted to give up but she pushed through it and I'm proud of her for that despite the amount of pain she had to go through." Jake exclaimed while I smiled.

"Thanks Jake." I softly say as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders as I leaned my head into his shoulder.
