《A Collection of Dreams》6: Holiday Intruders

Cassie and Danny were here for Christmas on the last week before Christmas break. While I was getting ready for school, I had my door open to watch the front door. I heard it start to unlock. I thought, Danny and Cassie were both asleep. Last time I checked, mom had gone to work. The door opened. "Danny?"

This person was a male. His face was slender and he was much shorter than Danny. He had a small Mohawk and wore a black jacket that had a green shirt underneath. His pants were also dark like his jacket.

When he opened the door and heard me, he shifted his view in my direction with a face of fear. At this point, I knew he wasn't a friend.

He left his plethora of keys dangling in the front door. They were all sorts of different shades of silver. When he was on his way to leave, I saw him jump into a white old timey truck. It had the sides and front puffed out from the wheels. There was a tag; however, I couldn't see it from the distance and speed that he proceeded to run huge circles in the yard.

After he had his fun and drove off, I locked the front door and hid the keys. I checked for the back door too and raced to a room with a gun. A pistol! I cocked it and made refuge behind the kitchen counter. When I aimed the gun at the front door, I was satisfying my hysterical paranoia that if he did come back, that I wouldn't risk a misfire whatsoever. The door's lock began to crackle and soon the door itself was open. Shit.

This time, a different guy showed up. He was pretty tall and had short curled hair. He was on the heavier side on weight and wore bright colors like white in contrast to his companion. His eyes were small, brown, and searching for a fifteen-year-old little girl. Behind him entered the person I encountered earlier-- except now his face was no longer saturated in fear.

By the time I was done looking at their features, they spotted me. Now I had to shoot them. I thought to shoot the new man because was stronger, but what if his friend had a gun? By the time I could reload it, it would've been too late.

(Dreamer's Note: I've not had any reoccurring thoughts on this one, so, unfortunately there's not really an end. My apologies!)
