I moved into an apartment next to a Chinese family consisting of a mother and two little boys. The next morning, I stretched my way out of my bed to see what the commotion was. Flashing lights and ant-like crowds swarmed the trunk of the gargantuan tree in the back yard of the building. I grabbed my keys and flew out the door down the stairs to find out what was wrong.

As I moved my way through the crowd, I saw what was so intriguing to them-- one of the boys was tied to its base.

He was all bone with the exception of a few scraps of skin yet to flake off. He was dusty and it seemed as if he's been here for years, but that'd be impossible because I know he was still alive yesterday.

After having that debacle in my head, I snapped back into reality and started searching for his brother and mother. I began walking into the apartment and saw the boy there. He said his mom was downstairs so there I went. I raced through the plethora of hallways and doorframes to only be met by a guy in a panda suit on occasions.

Any time I'd try to chase him, he'd turn a corner and vanish. Eventually I was gaining on him. He no longer could lose me, so he ran out the back door of the downstairs. I followed him until he jumped down a good five feet onto a concrete parking lot. He began dancing.
