how on earth Ivy was suppose to focus on her school work and figure out what she's going to do after she graduates in a just over a year. Her sister (as incredibly smart as she was) was practically unapproachable at the moment as she was stressing about planning a wedding and acing her own final exams. Ivy had talked to both Jasper and Donna about their future, but the conversation would always take a dark turn to "I'll probably die in the war, to be honest," Jasper would say casually, "I've never been good at Defence Against the Dark Arts."

And as soon as those words would leave his mouth, Donna instantly changed the subject onto something completely different.

She had her little one-on-one meeting with McGonagall, but if anything, that left her more confused about her future than she had been in the first place. She was pretty decent in Potions, Astronomy (thanks to a certain black haired Slytherin who would always point out the constellations from the Astronomy Tower) and Herbology, but had no clue about what she could do with either of those subjects.

At one point, McGonagall suggested Ivy became a teacher, but the girl practically laughed in her face, "No disrespect, Professor," Ivy said, sniffling her laughter, "But me, a teacher? No thank you."

Ivy let out a frustrated sigh as she told Sirius about her meeting with their Head of Year. A feeling of hopelessness washed over her as she placed her head down onto the armrest of the sofa, closing her eyes momentarily and just focusing on the sound of the crackling fire in front of them.

The two were currently sitting alone in the common room during the middle of the night after both sneaking down there due to not being able to sleep.

Sirius watched her carefully, his thoughts racing before he finally spoke up after several minutes of complete silence, "What about Quidditch?"

Ivy's eyes snapped open and she sat back up, "What?"

"Quidditch. You're exceptional at it; the best Seeker Gryffindor had ever seen; if not the whole school," He told her, nudging her playfully when she rolled her eyes, "And you love it, so why not try doing that?"

"I'm not good enough," She told him, shrugging casually, "Maybe I'm good here, but compared to the professional players..." She sucked her teeth.

"Practise then," Sirius ordered, "Practise until you feel ready. Start applying to try-out for teams. Do something towards that step," He placed his hand on her shoulder. The blonde kept her eyes on him, her mind working overtime, "Or you might regret it for the rest of your life."
