《Love At First Fight {Regulus Black}》35. MEET ME IN THE ASTRONOMY TOWER

argument - or heated discussion as some would call it - with Regulus, Ivy had problems with sleeping. It's not that she couldn't, she most certainly could, and would fall asleep as soon as her head hit the soft pillow, but she couldn't stay asleep for long. Usually, she'd wake up about an hour after falling asleep, on a good night it'd be three hours.

So, when the blonde woke up and spotted the half moon still high in the sky, she knew very well it hadn't been long since she'd fallen asleep. As quietly as she could (as to not disturb her roommates or Loki) she threw the duvet off, threw on a sweater and grabbed some slip on shoes and her wand before leaving the room.

After slipping on her shoes and using her wand as a torch, Ivy exited the Gryffindor common room. The hallways of Hogwarts were completely and utterly abandoned. The quietness gave her some peace as she walked around the corridors with one goal in mind; food. As soon as the blonde Gryffindor walked into the kitchens, a couple of the house-elves rushed over to her with a slice of apple pie. The blonde thanked them before digging into the sweet dessert, sighing in comfort at the deliciousness.

After about thirty minutes - give or take - Ivy began her walk back to her dorm. Her stomach full and her eyes droopy. Luckily, she didn't bump into any professors or prefects patrolling the hallways and made it back quicker than usual. She stayed down in the common room for a little while, her jade green eyes staring intently into the small fire which was the only thing illuminating the room, before finally going back up to her room, finally yearning for the feeling of sleep.

As quietly as she physically could, Ivy opened the dormitory door before closing it slowly behind herself. She didn't have any trouble finding her bed even in the dark but when she neared it and the light from the moon shone on her bedside table she couldn't help but feel confused. She spotted Loki fast asleep on the edge of the bed closest to the table so she knew it was definitely her bed, but the parchment sitting there puzzled her. She hadn't left any out and didn't remember seeing it before she went out, but maybe the sleep had effected her more than she thought.

After several seconds of just staring at it, Ivy finally reached over to pick it up. Unfolding it her heart fluttered at the sight of the familiar, neat handwriting. It wasn't a long note by all means, but she didn't care, the thing that it said was better than any poem or long love note she could possibly read, 'Meet me in the astronomy tower Friday evening. -R.A.B'.
