at her redhead best friend skeptically, "What's going on between you and..." She glanced around the Great Hall to make sure no curious ears were listening, "Reg."

Ivy swallowed hard as she stroked Loki's fur. The cat was perched up on her lap, receiving strokes and bites of chicken as he pleased and when he didn't get any, he'd paw at the redhead's knee before she finally gave in. Her eyes were glued to the cat, hoping that if her answer would take long enough, Donna would just forget and move on or someone would come over, meaning they couldn't talk about it anymore.

"Ivy..." The brunette sighed sadly. She had never seen her friend so down before.

"I don't know, Don," Ivy finally spoke up, her voice barely above a whisper, "I don't know what's going on. You know how secretive he is, something must've happened, but I don't know what."

"Well, he keeps looking over at you," Donna confessed, smiling softly even though Ivy didn't see it as she kept her eyes down on Loki, "That must be a good sign right?"

The redhead shrugged, "I suppose."

Donna bit her lip as she observed Ivy, before she slammed her hands on the table, gaining the redhead's attention as well as the attention of some other students and teachers enjoying their breakfast, "That's it, no more pouting, we're going out to Hogsmeade to enjoy the day together," Donna declared, "What do you say? A girl's day out?"

Ivy chewed on her bottom lip, before answering, she glanced over her shoulder, her eyes immediately settling upon Regulus as he sat almost directly behind her at the Slytherin table. He had a full plate in front of him, but it seemed untouched. He had his head propped up by his hand and he would look up towards the Gryffindor table every few seconds; making sure none of his fellow housemates caught him doing so; but they all seemed to be in their own little worlds.

"Ivy, you'll burn a hole in him if you keep on staring so intently," Donna muttered, kicking Ivy's shin ever so slightly; just to grab her attention back, "So, what do you say?" She grinned, hoping that the answer she would receive would be a yes.

Ivy smiled at her best friend as she tried to push the thought of Regulus to the back of her head, "Okay, let's do this."
