Astronomy Tower. For the past few days, Regulus had been missing their usual secret date. He's been more quiet during Potions, keeping his head down low with his black locks hanging loosely in front of his sunken eyes. He looked skinner than usual, his cheekbones being more prominent than ever. His complexion was now even paler than Ivy's.

When the door to the room suddenly clicked, Ivy's eyes instantly flew to them, widening when she spotted Regulus hesitantly walking in, his eyes down to the ground. Neither of them said anything as he closed the door, lingering close to it. It took several minutes before he finally looked up, his tired, dull eyes looking right into Ivy's worried ones.

"Hi..." Regulus breathed out, shuffling on his feet.

Ivy sighed as she crossed the space between them. As soon as the reached the Slytherin boy she threw her arms around his shoulders, tugging him close to her. It didn't take long before Regulus wrapped his arms around her waist, his face burrowing itself into the crook of her neck.

"You don't have to tell me what's going on," Ivy finally spoke up, her voice was slightly muffled by his shoulder, "But I just want to know if you're okay?"

Regulus tightened his arms around the blonde, his eyes suddenly stung, "I'm okay," He told her, his breath fanning over her neck leaving goosebumps up and down her spine.

Ivy could hear the hesitance in his voice as they finally pulled away. Her body suddenly felt cold so she stayed close to the black haired boy, her arms moving from the back of his neck to his biceps before they ran down his arms. However, just before she could clasped her fingers around his, he quickly snatched his left arm away, his eyes wide with fear.

"What?" Ivy questioned, a puzzled expression on her face.

Regulus didn't reply. Instead, he looked down, refusing to make eye contact with the blonde, his messy locks giving him that slight shield from her bright eyes.

"Reggie...What's going on?" She asked, this time her voice held a waver of panic to it.

"Nothing," Regulus shrugged his shoulder slightly, "Nothing, Ivy."

"Reg..."

"Nothing, okay!" He suddenly burst, throwing his arms up in the air as he took a step backwards. His eyes finally boring into Ivy's, "Just leave it! Stop butting into everyone's business!" Instant regret washed over his face when he saw Ivy's face fall.

"Right..." The blonde girl breathed out. She did her best to ignore the pain in her chest as she finally tore her eyes from the Slytherin, "Bye, Regulus," She said without daring to look at him. She didn't need to see the regret that washed over his face, his tired baby blue eyes glued to her.

"Ivy, I-I didn't mean that," Regulus called out, but he was too late, the redhead already slammed the door in his face, her footsteps were heard running down the stairs before quietness filled the Tower, leaving Regulus standing there all alone. His eyes now full of unshed tears, looking at the wooden door as if he could open it with his mind. But he couldn't, so when he finally looked away, his baby blue eyes fell upon his left forearm. It was covered with a sweater, but he could practically feel it there. His chest aching as he slowly sank down onto the ground.
