Day 5
"An idea?" Relon slowly nods looking back out to the sea. "What kind of idea?"
"Promise you won't get mad?" She gives a slightly confused look before nodding. "I promise."
"I was thinking up for half the night about how to do this and... I finally figured it out."
"Figure what out, Relon?"
"... How we could get away with holding performances." He states refusing to see whatever reaction his best friend holds.
"I thought you were against going to the stadium?" She asks, her voice surprising calm.
"I was and partially still am. But... I thought back to that night on the roof. About patience and maybe... maybe this is a sign. We don't have to be the patient ones. Because we have the stadium that seems like no one knows is working..." He glances for a moment to see You staring off at the ocean before he averts his eyes once more. "So... what do you think?" Silence goes on for a few minutes. "You...?"
"You're serious about this?" She cuts though taking him aback for a moment before he rebounds.
"Yeah. More serious than anything."
"Why?"
"I already told you. I want to see the smiles of everyone in Japan. That includes yours." His answer resolute though he sports a small blush, You finally looking for Relon to be the on eyeing the endless water.
"Is that true...?" The tone in her voice wanting to believe his words.
Relon thinks back to the multiple times Miguel has brought up his relationship with You. Closing his eyes dispelling the thought, he opens to looking to You and nodding. She feels her cheeks heat up at the confirmation as her questioning expression breaks out into a relieved smile.
"This sounds so crazy." She lightly laughs, Relon simply looking to her awaiting her answer. "I mean, we're talking about fulfilling our lost dream. Turning our dream, our vision, into a reality!" Disbelief evident in her voice.
Relon's eyes widen as tears begin to fall.
"You..." He whispers though not towards the girl herself.
She seems to take notices as she begins wiping them away though the stream continues.
"I'm fine. I'm just..." She wipes them once more to smile at Relon. "I'm just happy. Beyond happy." She goes back to wiping her eyes with her hands for Relon to stop her.
Lowering her hands, he wipes her eyes with his thumbs.
"I can tell." He softly laughs. "It's your dream finally coming true."
"No..." She takes his hands in hers.
"That's not all." Her eyes glisten before him leaving the boy speechless. "You're finally calling me You." She smiles again closing her eyes as more tears come forth.

Looking down, he sees her hands shaking. Not knowing what to do, he is suddenly embraced by the girl. Now able to feel her trembling form as well as her tears along his shoulder. Holding back her wailing, You can only mutter one thing.
"Thank you." Before holding him close, Relon feeling her hands grip the back of his jacket.
Finally returning the embrace, he holds her close refusing to let go.
"Let's do it, You. Let's fulfill our dreams and show the world the joy of idols again. You with me?" She pulls back nodding his all her heart.
Both getting to their feet as Relon raises his arm.
"We start with one smile and work upwards from their." You exclaims wiping the last of her tears away raising her arm.
"The ultimate duo!" They bump arms smiling at each other. "Next stop; Miguel's."
"Does he know about this?"
"He has an idea though I'm sure he knows." Both take off.
"So what ideas did you come up with? If we're going to do something like this, you must have thought long and hard considering we're breaking the law." She stops followed by the law. "Oh my God. I just realized we're breaking the law. You never break rules."
"Technically, I broke the rules when we went to the stadium the first time." Relon off-handedly comments.
"Wait, what do you mean the first time?" Relon widens at his mistake. "Alright." He sighs knowing there's no way out of this.
"You two spent all day yesterday at the stadium, didn't you?"
"Yes. I won't lie. Yes, we did. Cleaning up the reception area so Miguel plans on getting the bathrooms up an running."
"He's dead set on that isn't he?"
"You know it." Both returning to their walk But back to my ideas. That section of the city where we first went into Sector D doesn't have any cameras at all. I was planning on using that as our entrance or the sewer system. As for security, that's where Miguel comes in. Security cameras and other tech stuff he almost certainly has. But I'll tell you more once we get there."
"Okay, but the sewer system? Really? You make it seem like we'll be using the sewers like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."
"Hey! It's either that where there are certainly no cameras or above ground and we wait until no one's looking to sneak past the black tape."
"Well you have a point. Though I'm not too keen on smelling like... whatever ends up down there."
"Neither of us are except maybe Miguel. Speaking of which. Here we are."
"Let's go make the ultimate duo into the ultimate trio!"

"Yeah!"
Walking up, they knock for the door to open.
"Hurry on in, you two!" Miguel's voice calls from the kitchen.
"It's amazing how he knew we'd be here." She laughs.
"I would be surprised if he had cameras all over the neighborhood."
Walking over the seemingly hundreds of cords, they plop down on the couch.
"'Bout time you two got here. How was your morning date?" He greets, his words causing both to jump.
"W-We weren't on a date!" Relon denies.
"Yeah! We were just at the beach... alone..." Both teens begin to feel heat.
"Uh huh. So y'all ain't do no hugging or none of that?" Miguel wonders eyeing Relon.
Both widen further as they give a glance at the other to avert their eyes.
Damn it, it's just like two days ago all over again!
Was the hug too much? I just acted in the heat of the moment. My emotions were all over the place and!
"Ahaha, you two will forever be the best to tease." Miguel laughs ceasing the duo's thoughts.
"Ugh, I swear you just go too far sometimes." Relon breathes a sigh still sporting a blush. "Miguel, about yesterday-
"Yes." He interrupts him for the two to look confused.
"You don't even-
"You want to host performances using the stadium and want my help, right? The answer's yes." He disappears into his room doing some rumaging.
Relon walking to the hallway before he asks the question.
"How did you even know I was gonna ask that?!"
"It was written all over your face yesterday while we were working." Miguel answers from afar. "That and I had been hoping you two would think up this idea once you got back. I just didn't want to be the one to commence it." He states now returning. "You know what they say lil bro, great minds think alike." He pats Relon's shoulder before sitting down next to a stupefied You.
"Huh... okay then. Now we're a trio." You says, her excitement still coming back from Miguel's explanation. "Wasn't able to buy as much as yesterday because cops are out and about this morning so they would have noticed something."
Relon opens it to reveal a bunch of varying electronics. Inspecting one, he widens as a smile forms.
"You weren't joking when you said great minds think alike!" Relon shows a small spherical object with a camera.
"My new products. Minicams that can survive any whether condition."
"Miguel, you are a genius!"
"I know."
"How long have you been working on all of this?" You asks looking through the box.
"Altogether; six years." Both stop to look at the tall Italian.
"You've been preparing." Relon states.
"And now we're prepared, boss."
"So that just leaves one question." Relon glances to You.
"When can we start?"
"Well, isn't school coming up for you two?"
"Yeah." Relon answers. "In about... 17 days."
"Then we can plan for some time after that. So a little under a month's time." You adds. "We have to figure out a theme, get the costume sorted out, create a dance along with the choreography, then add the music. Relon, didn't you take theatre overseas?"
"Yeah. You and me can organize a lot of this ourselves. Miguel, I have a task for you if you're up for it."
"Give it to me, boss."
"You mentioned no one going into Sector D. I want you to place Minicams everywhere. Every street, alleyway that is apart of Sector D. If we get caught, it's over for us. Especially if we're practicing or even performing. I want a schedule of any and all police and non-police activity you can find."
"Leave it to me."
"In the meantime, You and I will get everything sorted out. Like I just mentioned, since apparently no one knows about the stadium, we can use it as practice until school starts once we figure out the small stuff. Sounds good?" Miguel and You nod.
"Wow, you really have all of this planned out." Miguel comments.
"You should see the papers in my drawer from this morning. Oh crap!" He sighs.
"What's wrong?"
"Mom." The others widening.
"We can't tell mom about this. She'd lose it." Relon realizes. "For the time being at least. I'm kina grateful she's so busy. It won't be hard to hide what we're doing."
"Alright, we got a game plan. You two handle your end and I'll handle mine. Oh and You."
"Yeah?"
"Congrats in the guy finally saying your name right." He winks, the due's blushes returning."
"Miguel! Shut up! Argh, let's go, You." Relon drags the girl out as Miguel laughs a hardy laugh. "Ugh, that guy sometimes." Relon sighs with a shake to realize he's still holding You's hand to let go, both silent. "I meant what I said the other day." He mutters gaining her attention. "I'd made a more concerted effort to call you You." He turns to her brimming with a sudden confidence.
"Relon..." She nods in agreement. "Starting today, no more You-chan. This marks the beginning of something new for us." She states.
"Yeah!" Both look ahead to the morning sky above the distant cityscape.
"Zensoko Zenshin, Yousoro!" Both run home, ready for what's to come.

8 171Charlotte Powers: Diary of a Would-Be Superhero
The journal of a girl who thinks she knows. (Spoiler: She does not know.) "...an odd combination of stream-of-conscious anxieties and high-flying save-the-world goals written by an overzealous, naïve teenaged girl in her wristwatch computer diary."-readers are better at describing stories than the writers who wrote them "When it's over you look up: the world looks the same, but you are somehow different and that feeling lingers for days."-bit OTT but I'll take it "...everything cannot just be good and then be even more good, in this story, right?"-100% accurate assessment "...the plot was bland and the character uninteresting. It was just a very dull read. I cannot recommend this book to anyone."-oh well can't win them all Discord for discussion. Complain about Charlotte's nonsense! Ship the characters! Do a thing! Now entering the second arc, Power Play. Things are getting serious. We're heading towards something important. Charlotte is still largely clueless. But she is trying so hard.

8 170Stories Of Indlu
“… to grow, for opportunity, for adventure, to be free. Join the colony ship Nao Vittoria. Be the first to live amongst the stars.” It was obvious from the literature that the NextStar corporation wanted the young, the adventurous and the brilliant. So why were the super rich fighting over seats? Why were AI’s trying to stow away? Did this signify a premature end to human/AI civilisation? Why had some questions directed to NextStar been aggressively sidelined? Why did the colonist inflight entertainment trial produce fatalities? In fact, why colonists at all? Those and many other questions, however, boiled down to a single central question. Why was the world’s most advanced AI dumped with a hundred year babysitting job for 50 million people speeding towards an uninhabitable planet? It made such little sense. The only sure way to get answers, catch a ride on the Nao Vittoria and play the inflight entertainment game, Pax Domini. I joined, and this is my story. Well, I feature. OK, I’m more of a spectator. Actually, I’m completely irrelevant I was just there. I’m only the storyteller. But what a story to tell. --------- Hi All, Content will be published weekly usually Saturday and typical posts will be 25oo to 4ooo words per post. Though for some reason the Royal Road word count does not include the content of tables so some posts may not appear to meet this criteria. Currently I have written sufficient unedited content to keep this schedule for the next 12 months (half way through the first story arc). My current productivity would indicate that I can maintain this schedule for well into the second story arch. This also allows for the additional content that will be posed exclusively on Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/StoriesOfIndlu). This additional content follows minor characters, peripheral events, maps and other content that does not take away from the main story. I would love to accelerate the post schedule but to meet this I need the assistance of more beta readers than I currently have. So please let me know if you are interested. - Andy ©2022 Andy Leauter. "Like a treasure map in a bottle, We were slowly drifting apart, Mother Nature sailing our purpose out to sea, The more I got to know you, I realised how much of a hoax your devotion was, Almost as fake as the smile I paint across my shattered face."This collection of poetry releases trauma in the form of expression - mainly the words I could never build up the courage to say. Most of these poems present conflict of the mind and allude to mental health struggles, which may be relatable to a certain community of people.Ranks -#3 in poem#3 in poembook#8 in poetry collection #7 in sadpoems#6 in poemcollection #7 in wisdom #15 in poetic
