The room started to go silent after Olivia's statement as if no one knew exactly what to say, but Ruby only seemed to have one question on her mind, "How long have I been missing?"

Theo stared at her, grief clouding his eyes, "Almost two weeks."

Ruby's eyes bulged in surprise. Not even two weeks. And yet it had felt like years.

"You two need to stop speaking of this. Master doesn't like when we talk about our old lives." Olivia said, anger lacing her tone.

Ruby had noticed a complete shift in Olivia's attitude since Davina's possible death.

It was as if she were even more dead to the world then before.

"I don't give a damn about what that bastard likes." Theo snapped, pulling at the chains that secured him to the wall.

Olivia looked him up and down, her eyes devoid of any emotion, "Well maybe you should, otherwise you'll end up dead. Just like the others."

Theo looked like he was about to reply but stopped as the floor above creaked. Ruby could hear Master walking around upstairs and soon his footsteps echoed as he entered the basement.

He pushed open the small door to their hidden room, his eyes immediately falling on both Olivia and Ruby.

He walked closer, unlatching their chains from the wall.

"It's time to get you two cleaned up." He said, pulling them through the threshold of the door, leaving Theo behind and to his lonesome.
