*Dropped* What would you do if your world changed? If your neighbours suddenly turned into savage beasts, their nature changed on a fundamental level. What if that savage beast was you? Johnathan Simmons was not a successful man, nor did he have a particularly interesting life, he lived alone with his sick mother and worked whatever jobs he could to pay the bills but his world changes completely when he becomes a monster. Note- This is the first time I have written anything but I have a solid idea of where the story is going and what I want to happen, I can't promise my uploading rate won't be sporadic as I have other committments but if this gets big enough I'll definitely work up a schedule. Sod's Law (Dropped)
This fiction has been dropped, you're more than welcome to read it anyway (there is sort of an ending). But you have been warned... Sod's law is a more extreme version of Murphy's law. While Murphy's law says that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong (eventually), Sod's law requires that it always goes wrong with the worst possible outcome. For example, concepts such as "bad fortune will be tailored to the individual" and "good fortune will occur in spite of the individual's actions" are sometimes given as examples of Sod's law in action. This would broaden Sod's law to a general sense of being "mocked by fate". In these aspects it is similar to some definitions of irony, particularly the irony of fate. - Definitions of Sod's Law on Wikipedia. The protagonist, as many before them, and many who followed, thought they were just entering a VRMMORPG (Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing-Game). Unbeknownst to them however, was a short paragraph in the Terms & Conditions, that, upon agreement, would actually transport them to a fantasy world, loosely based on the game they thought they were entering. - Something anyone could be forgiven for, no-one reads them after all. In this new world, they discover that people are born with “Traits”, a System recognised, ability, skill, or talent, that they are born with. Sod's Law was not a trait they, or anyone else for that matter, would want. Pure madness follows. Yup, this is about a character transferred to a fantasy game-world with the worst luck imaginable. This is my first fiction so I apologise for any grammar and spelling mistakes that may be made. Hopefully it is readable, and if so please tell me! But if it's not, also tell me, but in a constructive way if at all possible? Due to the nature of the “Trait” the story will be dark in places, with plenty of gore and profanity, hence the tags. There may also be scenes of a sexual nature, but nothing full on – sorry guys but you'll have to go elsewhere for that.

The Gambit
The kingdoms have rarely experienced peace, with kings and rulers warring against each other on any percieved slight. With explorers riding the waves to find new lands and merchants eager to set up trade routes while profiting as much as possible. Would the status quo still hold up? The veil is already weakining as more magic and horrors seep through the gap. How would the world deal with the sudden increase in the limited resource of magic? With the times changing, barren lands become trade hubs and the power shifts. The system holding it all together, is in a fragile balance, would a single death break the balance and cause the most devastating war the people have experienced. The direction of the story : The story will not contain any main protagonist, rather multiple protagonists and antagonists with the protagonists having bad some character traits and the antagonists some good ones. I plan to make a story of flawed humans, so if you are looking for OP MCs you would not enjoy it. But I still hope you give it a try. This is my first time writing and I am doing it to get better, so any suggestion or criticism is welcome. I am a university student, so do not expect a robust upload schedule, I'll try to put out 2 chapters a week, but there might be some delays. I apologize for it in advance. P.s. English is not my native language, so there might be some errors, though I tried to mitigate them as much as possible.

Yore and Olds
The continent of Temuair houses wars, politics, dungeons, magics, and the most dangerous of them all, Aislings. The civilization of Hy-Brasyl is long gone, and the gods have departed from their shores. Millenniums pass and now another war has been wage. The question is, who are they fighting against and for what purpose? The many powers that rule this world are locked in a fierce competition. One of these powers stepped through an unethical barrier, striving for a greater power. A boy, who was preyed upon, fell towards their hands. His mind fell ill to revenge, hoping that one day he'll be free again. DISCLAIMER: This novel borrow elements from the lore and mythology of the game Dark Ages. The lore and mythology won't be a 1:1 copy, and most if not all will be tweaked for this novel. Many elements will also be added that is not included in Dark Ages. It should be easier to follow along if you're familiar with the lore, but it is not require, at all, to know a thing about it. I will explain things when needed, and hopefully it will be sufficient.
