*unedited so it contains lots of grammar mistakes*
Liam's eyes flickered to mine. He licked his lips before wrapping his hand around my head.
"alright, lets kiss" he announces before leaning forward, puckering his lips ready to kiss me. I roll my eyes and smash my forehead against his, causing him to wince in pain. "Jesus Adeline, are you trying to make me have a concussion?" he grunted rubbing the bruise.
I glare at him, "you don't just announce that you're going to kiss me" I told him, as I peaked behind him to see them staring at us. I sighed pulling Liam forward and placing my lips on his. He was taken by surprise at first but then wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer. "I didn't realise you wanted me this bad" Liam mumbled, in between the kiss as I could feel his lips forming into a smirk.
"you wish" I snap back at him with an annoyed expression.
The lights flicker on and the group of people screamed "surprise" whilst pulling the party poppers. I pull away from Liam's embrace and display a huge smile "wow" I fake a gasp as Julie approaches me.
"Were you surprised?" She asks, gleaming with happiness as her eyes flicker to me and Liam. Unfortunately, this wasn't much of a surprise since Asher had the biggest gob so he accidentally let it slip that he was attending our 'surprise' engagement party later today.
"No not-" Liam began and I stamp on his foot to shut him up and smile at Julie "of course!"
I couldn't let him break her heart so I broke his foot instead
Liam winced in pain as his arm drop to my waist before he slapped me on the butt. A small squeal escaped my lips as the whole room went silent and I closed my eyes with a sigh. I've been through some embarrassing things in my life but after meeting Liam, my whole life became an embarrassment.
The laughter's of Liam's friends filled my ears and I glared at the grown men laughing like children. "I fucking hate you" I whispered to Liam, who turned his head and smiled innocently. "I love you too baby"
Julie, awkward and surprised smacked her son upside down at the back of his head. "Keep your hands to yourself!" She tutted.
"Mom!" Liam groaned and I stuck my tongue out at him. He deserved that
Once again I was dragged by Julie to meet more of their never ending family. I finally had some time to myself and sneaked over to the alcohol section. I picked up a glass and pressed it against my lip only for it to be taken away.

"You're too young for that" a familiar voice spoke as they came to view. Christopher
"Chris" I muttered, with an unwelcoming tone "Adeline" he says with a hint of amusement in his. Christopher and I aren't exactly on best of terms since he tried to kiss me the last time I saw him. Liam had no clue and I didn't have the heart to tell him. Besides, I was his fake Fiancée so it doesn't count right?
"Still mad?" He asks. I roll my eyes. "About what?" I reply, pretending that the almost 'kiss' never happened. He frowned and leaned forward, leaving me no space to breath. "Would you like a reminder?" His cocky attitude was beginning to show.
"Of an unfortunate night? No thank you" I say, pushing him away. He chuckled and drank his glass of wine, reminding me that I couldn't have mine. I decided to take this chance and slip away from him. My eyes caught Liam, leaving through the exist door.
I follow after him which lead to a car park. "where are you going?" I asked, popping up behind him giving him a little fright. "Jesus" He moaned, holding his heart in his hand. I smiled cheekily and he flickered my forehead "don't do that"
I frown and rub my bruise. I watch him pull out a cigarette and lighting it before blowing out smoke. I cough uncontrollably and step away from him "you smoke?" I asked, surprised. He didn't look like the type. He nodded and continued to stare off into the distance.
"You'll die if you continue" I nag at him.
"That wouldn't be a bad thing"
I frown "how will I live without you?" I cry, faking a tear and wiping it away.
He snorts and rolls his eyes.
My phone buzzed and I sneaked it out of my bag to look at the message.
hubbs bubbs
remember about the deal Addy
I grunt and shove my phone back into my bag. Liam gives me an odd look and I take this opportunity to ask him.
"I kinda need a favour .." I trail "you said you'd do anything if I agreed to be your Fiancée right?"
He nods his head very slowly as he listens "well, I kindaneedyoutointroduceyourselftomyfriends and payforourdayout"
It took him a moment to take it all in before he spoke "you want me to pretend?"
I nod "like we are doing now except..be a bit more uh 19"
He raised his eyebrow. The suit attire was hot but I need a boyfriend, not a husband to impress my friends. Unfortunately, Adrian, Alisha, Ava and Katelyn are my best friends and nothing can get past your best friend, especially if its a man. Adrian had to open his big mouth and announce it to the whole collage about Liam and now I was in a bother with the four of them. Didn't I say Adrian was crap at keeping secrets?

Liam pouted his lips "are you calling me old?"
I stare at him directly in the eye, "yes"
He was expecting a bit of sympathy and ended up getting savageness. I stiffened a laugh at his priceless reaction. "so you'll do it right?" I ask, anxiously waiting for him to reply. He leans his head side to side "so I just turn up, kiss you and leave?" He asks.
"yes" I blurt "no"
He chuckles and I slap his shoulder "You turn up, give me money and then leave"
Liam had his cute thinking face on as he took forever to make a decision. It's not that hard Liam. I impatiently crossed my arms over my chest and tapped my fingers against my arm. This guy wasn't making my life any easier. "alright" he breathed "only if you promise to come to work with me one day"
I squealed in delight "yeah whatever, sure!" I shrugged, not even bothering to question his condition. I wanted to hug him but refrained from doing so. "Liam, Adeline!" a familiar voice called and we both turn to see Chris waving at us to go back in. I cuss under my breath at the sight of him. I follow after Liam and we both were welcomed back by his friends. Chris casually wraps his arms around my waist and I slap him away. "stop" I growl, making sure he backed off.
I couldn't understand why he'd hit on me knowing that I'm his best friend's 'fiancee'. Has he never heard of the 'don't hit on your best friends girl' code?
I step forward and slip my hand into Liam's and grasp onto his arm. He gave me a smile, warm enough to melt hearts. I blushed like a child and turned my head away. You can't be embarrassed over a smile Adeline, get yourself together. I hook the thoughts out of my mind
Julie and the others surrounded me and Liam as they all began to ask questions about our relationship.
"just make it up" Liam whispers to me and I nod.
"how long have you guys been together for?" a woman asked.
"8 months"
"9 months"
I spun my head towards Liam and he looked at me with the same panic face. We both laugh it off "8 and a half months" I utter "I guess it just feels longer to Liam". He faked a chuckle and nods. "where did you meet?" some other voice spoke from the back and I opened my mouth to answer quickly before Liam does "park"
"club"
I bit the inside of my cheek out of frustration. "a club?!" I hiss at him as the stares began to get suspicious. Liam sighed and tried to cover it up, "a park..club?" we both laughed awkwardly, hoping people didn't question his dumb ass answer. Could he not be a bit more creative? now I sound like a party animal. "a park club?" A voice laughed from behind and my eyes catch Chris.
Why is this man trying to ruin my damn life? " what even is that?" he asks, making eye contact with me. His lips formed into a smirk as if he could see through the lies. "there was an exercise club at the park" Liam answered, with confidence and made it sound almost believable. I grin, noticing people nod and some mutter 'awe'.
"when's the wedding set?" Julie asks, clapping her hands together as she awaits for our answer. I panic and say the first thing that came up in my mind.
"in 5 months"
Liam did the same.
" next year"
My head turns towards him, dreadfully slow. His face tighten and his lips form into an awkward smile. Everyone began to whisper and I could almost feel the doubts people were having about us. "what?" Julie asked, furrowing her brows in confusion.
I tusk at Liam before answering again.
"In 5 months"
"next year"
oh boy. We're in trouble.
