I picked Stella Ruth up from her cot, Aiden had invited us to a picnic saying there was important news. Jasper came down the stairs holding Bennett's hand. I motioned for us to go and he nodded tossing me the keys. We jumped into the car and we were off on our way to villie park, it was in the gated community Aiden lived in.

Waiting at the checkout point as they confirmed we had been invited then they let us in, we parked at Aiden's house then walked across the street to the park. Aiden was there with Lucy, Liam and Dylan having a weird conversation while Lucy played with his dog. We were the second ones to arrive, Bennett ran off to play with lucy. Jasper and I sat down on the park picnic tables. Stella Ruth grabbing at my hair jasper and I watched in confusion as Dylan, Liam and Aiden argued about whether or not Santa clause is evil. Then Maddison came running up to us hugging us.

" wait" I looked towards Aiden " did you invite Victoria or Charlie?" I asked

" They both agreed to stay friends for their kid's sake so I invited both of them because technically they are both families," Aiden said and I nodded. Charlie and Victoria both walked across the field Kye and Cameron in tow. They all sat around the picnic table and called the rest of the kids in. They reluctantly walked back to the big white picnic table that was dusted and clean literally sparkling.

" So what's the important news?" Charlie asked

" did you finally get a girlfriend?" Liam asked and Dylan forcefully held back his laughter, Aiden sent them a glare.

" No, I don't need a girlfriend I'm a bachelor," Aiden said snapping his leave cuffs. At which point Dylan and Liam started barking with laughter and Victoria and I were trying to hold back our laughed Charlie slapping his knee repeatedly. " ok OK"

" hope I'm not late," A voice said and we looked up Angie? ANGIE

I jumped up from where I was seated and threw my arms around her, she hugged me back then made room for the others to hug her.

" This was the important news if you guys had let me finish" Aiden muttered, after 10 minutes of hugs and kisses Aiden pulled out his picnic basket and took out extensive food. I laughed as he unpacked them. We all ate while catching up with Angie.

" where have you been mum?" Charlie asked

" I was in Greece, after..." she turned to me and I realized this was going to be sensitive " after I caught your father cheating on me I needed to get away so I have been temporarily living in Greece and I think I am refreshed"

" HE WHAT" I shouted before lowering my voice " I'm so sorry"

" No, I'm over it's been 6 months and I dumbed his butt," She said and I laughed " but Rosalyn you are still family and not your father"

I smiled and took a bite of the gourmet burger " So what'd you bring us?" Lucy asked

" 27 minutes new record," Dylan said to Lucy and she shrugged

" well I brought all of your gifts," Angie said taking out gifts for everyone. She handed me a small wrapped gift and Jasper whispered in my ear.

" wow everyone can wrap gifts"

I sent him a glare before opening my gift it was a gold necklace with a blue and green swirl and a black bead in the middle. Jasper helped me put it on and I stared down at it. " it's gorgeous" I said and Anglie smiled

" I'm glad now Jasper here" She smiled handing him a gift, he opened it revealing cologne he smelt it before turning to me to let me smell it, it smells...I can't explain it but it smells so good.

" so Rosy where is your dad?" Liam asked while Angie gave Bennett his gift

I shrugged " I don't know haven't heard from him for 4 years he doesn't even know Bennett or Stellar exists," I said

" We don't need him," Dylan said

" it's a happily ever after without him," I said " never needed him"

We all laughed as the kids finished eating quickly and ran back out to play, we "grownups" started discussing whether we would rather be really big or really small.

" well I don't want to get stepped on" Liam yelled

" yeah but if your really big everything would be uncomfortable" Charlie countered

"I'd just want to live in a dollhouse" I shrugged " I vote small"

" well I vote big" Dylan and Liam said together

The discussion went on for longer than it should have till Stella Ruth tried getting off my lap. "why don't we go get ice cream" I suggested after Angie declared big wins

We all agreed to grab our own children as Aiden brought us to the Icecream stand, Bennett, Jasper, Stella Ruth and I got our ice cream first so we were hanging out in the back waiting for everyone else.

" So, is this what you meant by happily ever after?" Jasper asked and I shrugged

" well, everything has worked out," I said looking over at Aiden who had bought his little puppy dog ice cream then to victoria who was nodding along to what Charlie was saying, Liam and Dylan, buying the biggest ice cream sundae for Lucy than to Angie who was showing Kye a trick where she could make her ice cream disappear.

" yeah, everything worked out, maybe not like a fairytale. but yeah it is our happily ever after" I said he nodded and kissed my forehead

" definitely" He replied
