The next day went by fast we stayed in, ordered Chinese and had a board game day.

When I woke up on Sunday I felt refreshed literally the best sleep I have had in a long time. I decided to make eggs, hash browns, toast and bacon for breakfast.

The kids and Jasper came down a little after I had finished making it probably smelling the delicious smell of fresh breakfast.

Half way through there was a knock on the door and I went towards the door.

Charlie was standing there nervously.

" hey!" I smiled " we are having breakfast there is extra if you want some"

" actually could I..talk to you?" He asked

" sure what's up?" I replied leaning against the door.

" The divorce is finalized and I have to get a house so the kids will be staying with Victoria for a little while I have a place I just need to furnish it, not as big only a three bedroom kye and Maddison'll have to share a room but it's near their school" Charlie said

" ok?"

"do you think they hate Victoria and I, hate me?" He asked

" No, not at all they love you, so much Charlie, they understand more then you know they understand because kids always do they always sense it. Sure they wish you were both still together but they love you guys" I said and he smiled

" yeah... thanks I really needed that" Charlie said and I nodded and moved to the side to let him in. Charlie walked towards everyone stealing a piece of Bacon off Cameron's plate and took the seat next to Kye's.

The rest of breakfast was quick and Charlie, Cameron, Maddison and Kye were out the door not before waving to us and lots of thanks.

Bennett came running towards me, his little calendar in his hands.

He pointed towards a date on the calendar excitedly.

" what's that Benny?" Jasper asked squatting down to his level.

" my birthday" he called out holding up the number four

" that's right you will be 4 in six days" I said

" you excited buddy?" Jasper asked

" yesss" he nodded profusely

" what do you want for your birthday ?" I asked and he though for a second

" CAKE" he yelled

" do you want a party with your mates?" Jasper asked

Bennett shook his head " I just want it with you" he said showing us his adorable grin.

" can your sister come?" I asked and he stayed quiet for a little bit before shrugging.

" I guess so" He said " but she can't have MY cake"

" awww that's not nice sharing is nice" I said and he frowned and pulled up his moping face.

" fine, only a little bit she's a baby" he said and Jasper shook his head lightly

" alright then just a little bit" He popped up and walked into the kitchen to do the dishes.

Stella Ruth was done for her nap and Bennett was watching tv, I walked over to Jasper and gave him a quick kiss.

" I have got the details for Bennys party, it's just us he probably misses that considering my brothers, their kids and their spouses are either always around or calling just wants some family time" I said and Jasper nodded

" speaking of which how 'bout we go for a hike just me and you?" He said. "We can stop at a cafe early in the morning, then we can head out to that place Aiden was telling us about"

" he has too much time on his hands" I laughed to myself " sure we should we can plan it and Bennett will be at preschool so we just need someone to watch Stella Ruth"

" Brilliant, how's Tuesday I don't have work then" Jasper replies enthusiastically

" sounds like a great plan... Bennett don't put the remote in your mouth there are germs on that" I said quickly walking over to him to wipe it off.

" GREAT I'LL SEE YOU THEN" Jasper called to me as I sped walked to Bennett he's probably laughing at my overprotectiveness.

Jasper POV

She is perfect, absolutely brilliant and she catches everything. I adore how protective she is making sure everything in this house runs brilliantly.

I'm going to make her some tea, so she can relax I've got the kids for the rest of the day.
