I woke up suddenly, it is still dark. I grabbed my phone and turned on the flashlight. Not afraid of the dark OK...I'm not. walked out into the living room and I turned on a lamp. Sitting in silence I wasn't going to pressure him into telling me.
Dejavu....man I miss Alfred, I thought for a second before walking downstairs to the laundry room. I opened the storage closet and took out a bear from the top of the closet.
"Alfred!" I whisper shouted " long time no see" I chuckled to myself and leaned against the wall catching Alfred up on my life.
" Aunt Rosy?" A voice came causing me to jump slightly I turned towards the door Cameron was standing there. "Talk later" I whispered to Alfred and set him back in the closer.
"Hey, Cameron what are you doing up?" I asked picking my phone back up.
" I...I had a nightmare" He mumbled
" DO you want to talk about it?" I asked and he lowered his head but nodded slightly so we walked into the living room and I switched on a lamp. Sitting in silence I wasn't going to pressure him into telling me.
" I dreamt they didn't need me ... because they don't, I'm supposed to be the big brother and in charge but I always mess up"He avoided looking at me as if he was embarrassed. I pulled him into my side.
" of course they need you Kye and Maddy need you and I need you," I said,
"why would you need me?" He asked
"because your funny and sweet and my only nephew and the oldest I need mature eyes plus who will help me make pancakes for the three hungry heads" I declared and hr smiled slightly

"can Stella Ruth eat pancakes?" he asked and I thought for a second.
" I don't know that seems like bad parenting I should search kit up, "I thought out loud "come on let's get you back to bed you can't make pancakes and or baby food if your sleepy" He nodded and followed me back to Bennets room where the blowup mattress was set up.
I tucked him in before running downstairs and saying a quick goodnight to Alfred.
When morning came around I found myself leaning against the kitchen counter searching up whether Stella Ruth can eat pancakes.
OK, here we go for babies 6-9months cut pancakes into strips the size of your index finger...ok yeah strips. Cameron tapped me on the shoulder signalling the pancakes were done. I grabbed the syrup, blueberries and the whipped cream. Cutting Stella Ruth's pancakes in strips while he decorated Bennett's pancakes and his own. I turned on my heel after finishing the little strips my eyes widened at the mountain of whip cream on his plate.
" What happened to the pancake?" I asked looking for where the pancake was under the giant mountain. He blushed and slowly put down the whipped cream can. Bennett came running into his seat and poured a river's worth of syrup on the plate. I looked to Jasper as he was making a smiley face on his pancakes with blueberries and whip cream hair. He caught my eye and shrugged before attacking the pancake. I shook my head and walked over to Stella Ruth's high chair, I put the pancakes in front of her and put a little bit of syrup over the pancakes, of course, I didn't even give her a fork she would just ignore it and eat with her hands. I sat down next to Jasper and poured a little bit of syrup, being the only one not completely devouring their pancakes.

You know what whatever I don't care I grabbed the whipped cream can and loaded it on top of the pancake, blueberries littering the whipped cream and bam my masterpiece. Something I would have done when I was a kid but I'm not going to stop now....that's just dumb why would I stop having fun just because I am older. Jasper raised an eye at me as if daring me to eat with my hands but I'm not getting my hands sticky....maybe... no I hate when my hands are sticky. I rolled my eyes and cut my pancake with my knife.
"you're cleaning up" I mouthed to him and he fake gasped.
After breakfast, I gave Cameron back the clothes he wore the night before now all dry and clean. Jasper stayed here, I dibs out on bathing Stella Ruth. We took a Taxi, Cameron was nervously scared he was going to get in trouble for running away from home. I put my arm around his shoulder and gave him a little squeeze. I told the taxi to wait here as Cameron and I walked towards his house. I hadn't actually seen it and it was big. I knocked on the door he waited behind my back, Charlie and Victoria opened the door in tears. I stepped aside and they both knelt hugging him. Apologies were thrown from both parties. Charlie stood up turning to me.
"Thank you so much, Rosalyn, I... I don't even know how this could have happened" He bowed his head slightly.
" Hey I'm always up for company and I love all you guys, if you ever need to...discuss stuff with Victoria the kids are always welcome over Jasper loves them, Bennett loves his cousins and Stella Ruth...I'm not sure if she notices" I said and Charlie let out a little chuckle, Victoria stood up her arms still wrapped around Cameron.
" I'm sure they would love to see you guys but we will call ahead," She said and I nodded waving to them as I got back into the taxi.
