"Will you marry me?"

His words made her forget everything. This was unexpected yet so beautiful. Nodding her head at him she made him stand up on his feet and not giving any heed to all the family members hugged him tight. The elders looked on with smiled adoring their faces.

"Mehar, be ready. Tomorrow we will decide the date for their Baarat and Walima. Till then take Alizeh with you."

Rodaba kissed Alizeh's forehead and giving a last look to her in laws and husband, Alizeh left with her mother with a smile intact on her face.

Alizeh slumped down on the sofa in her room. It had been just few hours and she had started missing him. She still couldn't believe she was going to get married to him fulfilling all the rituals they never did before. The way he proposed her in front of the whole family was something she had never expected. It was a pleasant surprise for her which was still making her giggle. Her mother and aunt were going to Hussain mansion tomorrow to decide the date. It was like a dream come true for Alizeh. She was a simple girl before Shehryar entered her life. Her dreams were also simple like her and getting married with all the preparations was one of them. But she gave up on all this the day she set her foot in Shehryar's house. And rest was the history. But the thing that Shehryar remembered this and was making it a living reality was making her fall in love with him all over again.

She picked up her phone and speed dialed his number.

"Missing me already?"

His voice on the other hand made her chuckle.

"A lot."

He rested his head at the back of the recliner and smiled at her reply.

"So do you want me to come over there?"

"Easy there Mr. Husband ! It's past midnight."

"Well I can. You know."

"No need! Amma and auntie are asleep."

They both didn't say anything after that. The silence between them was doing all the talking.

"Alizeh."

"Hun?"

"Are you happy?"

"More than I ever was."

He felt his heart would burst with joy hearing her reply.

"You are doing all this just to fulfill my dreams. You know what? You've always said I'm the best thing happened to you but let me say this tonight. You are the best thing that ever happened to me, Shehryar."

Her eyes were filled with tears. Few months back who could say this man would enter her life again and would love her to this extent?

"Thank you for the compliment, wife!"

He knew she was feeling emotional so just to lighten up her mood he started talking about the functions and all when he remembered something.

"Alizeh, there is one more thing. Tomorrow night be ready. I'll be there to pick you up."

"And why?"

"It's a date."

"What? A date?"

"Yes. You've got any problem with it?"

"No! Not at all!"

"Okay be ready then. 8 PM sharp. And yeah wear something red."

She blushed and bidding him a bye cut the call.

"Not even one decent dress to wear!"

Alizeh huffed and closed the wardrobe. Her girl gang was here at her place to congratulate her for the upcoming wedding. After hearing them gushing about the whole thing and letting them crush with their hugs she asked for their help in getting ready for her date with Shehryar. They were also trying to pick up a good dress for her but it seemed none could do today.

"Alizeh, why don't you stick to wearing nothing? You know we can't seem to find something and on the other hand guys love these sexy surprises."

Tahreem winked at her suggestively making them roll their eyes.

"When you don't have anything good to say you should shut up, Tahreem!"

Laiba got up and pushed Alizeh to a side. Breathing deeply she rummaged through her closet once more when a smile appeared on her face.

"This will do!"

She picked up a Red Anarkali suit and placed it on the bed. Alizeh looked at the dress with a smile playing on her lips. In her pre date jitters she was freaking out not even realising what was already there in her closet. Giving thumbs up to Laiba she hugged her and chanted her thanks making Laiba Chuckle.

"All right! Now go and start getting ready!"

Alizeh was eyeing herself in the mirror with a critical expression settled on her face. The dress was simple like she used to wear before her marriage. Her hair were open and fell over her shoulder just the way Shehryar liked. She had put on minimal make up and was now looking at the contact lenses container.

"What Alizeh? Put them on! Shehryar will be here anytime now!"

She looked at Nemrah and then again at the container. A smile reached her lips. Shaking her head she walked towards her closet and took out her spectacles.

There was no denying Shehryar loved it when she wore them. According to him this was how he fell in love with her. She hadn't worn them in front of him since the time they got back together. But now was the time. Putting them on she picked up her clutch from the table and twirled in front her friends who were praising her making her relax that she looked good.

Mehar stood in the door smiling at her daughter. After so many hurdles and hardships finally Alizeh and Shehryar were going to have their happy ever after. And it was for eternity she was sure of it.

The familiar sound of Shehryar's SUV pulling up in front of the house got their attention. Alizeh bit her lip nervously and looked around. They all gave her a go on look and taking a deep breath she opened the door.

And that's how he saw her. To say he was shocked was an understatement. It was a pleasant surprise for him. He felt as if his old Alizeh was standing in front of him. The feeling was overwhelmingly amazing. She gave him her dazzling smile when he extended his hand.

"Shall we?"

"Where are we going?"

She asked for the umpteenth time making him chuckle.

"We are almost there."

Nodding she looked out of the window when her eyes fell on the huge place in front of her and memories came rushing back.

He had taken her to the farm house.

"Why here?"

She turned to him who had stopped the car in the porch.

"Our Past is not something to remember Alizeh. Whatever happened when we were together is past. This place was the starting point of everything that went down so I want it to be the starting point of every good as well. That's why I've brought you here. "

She stared at his face for some time. This was really thoughtful of him. Smiling brightly at him she rested her head on his bicep.

"I love you!"

"I love you more."

They made their way inside. The place was dark and the lamps were the only source of light. She looked around when suddenly everything became bright. Astonished, she looked below and could see a path made of rose petals. Smiling at the romantic gesture she turned to him and held his arm.

"I never knew you were capable of showing this romantic side of yours."

"Well now you know and I can say you love it."

She giggled nodding her head.

"I can't wait to see what else is stored for me tonight."

He led her to the main hall where a table was set in the middle. The grand hall of Hussain Farm house was decorated for a perfect romantic dinner. And when she looked at the table her smile deepened. All her favourite dishes from all the cuisines were placed there.

"This is just incredible!"

She mumbled and almost jumped forward the table making him laugh. He had missed this crazy side of hers. She was a carefree girl back in their university days who used to laugh at every single thing. The problems and his own doings had left that carefree girl far behind and all that left was a composed and serious woman who had learnt the lessons of this world the hard way. But not anymore. They had come to the point in their relation where she was back to being her usual self and he couldn't ask for more.

The dinner was not a silent affair. She was talking excitedly about the food and the preparations of their upcoming wedding. Her happiness was evident from her face and this was making his heart skip a beat every single time.

After the dinner she insisted on a walk in the lawns. The soothing night breeze and the company of the one you love was making him relax and at peace. He intertwined his fingers with her when she stopped in her tracks and turned to him.

"What?"

Shaking her head she stood on her tip toes and kissed his cheek.

"Thank you for everything."

He smirked and pulled her towards him.

"That's it?"

"Hun?"

She raised her eye brow when he eyed her lips with a twinkle in his eyes.

"That's not happening, Mr Hussain!"

"Why?"

She giggled and pushed him away.

"You know I've decided. No hanky panky before the wedding."

"WHAT?"

He shouted not believing what she was saying. Her lips were twitching and she knew she would burst out laughing anytime now.

"Alizeh, you are not serious right?"

"Ohh I'm so damn serious. We were never a usual couple. We are getting married that too for the second time. Have done everything so far. Just to bring out some normalcy in all this let's just wait for the wedding night to continue this business!"

He rolled his eyes knowing too well she wasn't kidding. How would he take his hands off her was out of his understanding.

"Come on Alizeh won't I even get something like last night?"

"Didn't you hear me? No! Let's go now."

Way to ruin it Mrs Hussain.

She turned around giggling all the way while he stood there not tiny bit pleased with what she had suggested.

"Alizeh! Wait! This isn't right! You can't do this!"

He ran after her when she couldn't control it anymore. Her loud laughter echoed in the silent premises of the farm house.

Shehryar eyed her hand in his and then looked at his beautiful bride sitting next to him. Finally they were getting married and in just few hours he would take her back to Hussain residence. The two week period was a pure torture for him. Alizeh was indeed not kidding about no touching clause of hers. During all the functions she made sure to never give into his pleading eyes. But how long would she resist his charm? During Henna he had finally taken her to her room and had his way with her. She tried pushing laughing at him but once she was pinned to the wall there was no turning back. The sudden knock on the door and the coughing that followed told him his stupid friends were there just to tease him and ruin this perfect moment. Groaning, he left from there but not before giving her disheveled form a satisfied grin.

Her lips were slightly swollen and cheeks were flushed. She shook her head blushing furiously and had run to the bathroom right away.

But the real fun was Shehryar's bachelor's party. Daim made sure the girls hear him talking about some club they were going to visit and that had sent them over the edge. They were at venue that night fuming with rage but turned out there was nothing of the sort they were thinking. The guys were having fun by themselves. Throwing angry glances at Daim for pulling out this prank the girls left with their hubbies leaving Shehryar alone with his embarrassed bride. She was ashamed that she thought he would do something like that. She had to pacify him and that lead to a night full of smiles and some time alone.

After going through a lot here they were. Married with all the rituals. He smiled at and got up. It was real.

For eternity.

Alizeh got her dream wedding and the glow on her face was what he could die for. He was finally able to make her happy in a true sense. They both had finally come over all the obstacles and a happy ever after was awaiting them.

No more loneliness.

No faded parts of them.

Just Alizeh and Him For a lifetime.

___________

An Year Later

Alizeh tied her messy hair in a bun and searched for Shehryar's discarded shirt on the floor. Resting her back against the headboard she glanced at his sleeping form with a smile on her face. Just a month back they celebrated their wedding anniversary. And what a wonderful year had it been. Their life was nothing but a bliss. They used to argue a lot and according to Rodaba it was the best thing about their relation. They used to fight in their typical Mr And Mrs Hussain way and then make up that too in their own crazy passionate ways. She was falling in love with him some more every single time he did something adorably cute for her. The way he would look anywhere but her with a boyish grin on his face. He was just so cute.

Not in bed though.

She chuckled to herself. They were in the States these days as he was taking care of an important deal. She had to come along being the head designer of company. It had been almost fifteen days. Apart from taking care of the business he was taking her to some famous spots too and she was in love with NYC.

Putting on her spectacles, she made her way to the kitchen of this penthouse they were staying at these days. Picking up the newspaper and few other mails she sat down on the counter and poured herself a glass of orange juice. Her hand was searching for the piece of paper she was sure was in there between all the envelops. And she wasn't wrong. Tearing the envelop she pulled the report out when a smile reached her lips.

"Good morning."

His groggy voice hit her ears. She turned around and found him leaning against the door in just his pants.

"Good morning."

She smiled brightly when he reached her side caging her in his arms. She was still sitting on the counter with her legs straddling him. Kissing her forehead taking his own sweet time he looked at her face with a raised eye brow.

"You are desperate to tell me something aren't you?"

She widened her eyes.

"How do you know?"

"Guess I know every shade of this beautiful face."

She blushed hard not meeting his eyes. It was strange how this guy could still make her feel out of the World.

Pulling him close from his nape she kissed his nose and rested her forehead on his.

"That's right. I'm desperate to share something with you."

"And what it is?"

She looked around and not knowing how to tell him this put the paper in his hand.

"What do we have in here?"

He said opening the paper. She saw the myriad of emotions on his face. From confusion to shock. From shock to disbelieve and from disbelieve to overwhelmingly Happy.

"This is...."

He trailed off not knowing what to say.

"This is the most beautiful reality, Shehryar. I'm pregnant!"

She nodded wounding her arms around his neck. She knew he was at loss of words. But his eyes told her how damn much happy he was.

"I don't know what to say..."

"You don't have to say anything..."

"I don't know last time when I was this much happy about something."

"Me too."

She chuckled making him smile too.

"I love you!"

He rasped and kissed her forehead.

He couldn't ask for anything more from life.

Seven Years Later

"Arfa, baby it's almost done! Don't cry. See, Mama is here."

Alizeh was dressing up her baby girl and being just six month old Arfa used to cry out loud at this. Her baby didn't like dolling up there was no denying. Alizeh put on her dandy shoes and rested her head on her shoulder. Her Nanny was standing in a corner with a smile on her face.

"Ma'am I'll take of her. You go get ready."

Alizeh nodded and making sure Arfa was no longer crying went to her room to get dressed. It was annual traditional day at Ayan's School today and her teacher had suggested dressing him in traditional punjabi attire. Alizeh giggled imagining her six year old son in it. Pinning her scarf on her shoulder she made her way towards the stairs when loud giggles made her smile wholeheartedly. She stood in the living room seeing Arfa giggling and laughing at her father who was kissing her cheeks and trickling her. She tried hitting him with her small fits laughing out more in the process.

Shehryar kissed her forehead. The fully content smile adored his lips. Her babies could make their father do anything for them. He was on the spoiling side. And Alizeh was at the strict side. Which makes all this balanced and even. But that doesn't mean she didn't have her fun with her babies. She was the cool mother as Shehryar used to call her.

"You ready?"

Shehryar asked getting up from the couch. She reached his side. Rodaba and Mrs Naseem were gone to attend a function in neighbors so it was them only. But Alizeh was going to take lots of pictures of their prince to show them.

"Yup! Let's go."

They were walking towards the driveway while Arfa was continuously playing with her father's tie. Not even a trace of the crying baby she was just few minutes back when Alizeh was dressing her up. It was true. Arfa was a daddy's girl.

They reached the school and after meeting Ayan's teacher sat down at their table. Kids were running around in their colorful outfits. Alizeh left Arfa with Shehryar to meet the mothers of Ayan's class fellows. Shehryar was more than happy to ignore the meet and greet and just be with his princess. The father daughter duo needed just each other. Alizeh giggled and after meeting her acquaintances sat down again.

Soon the function started. She clapped excitedly for all the children. They all were looking so cute in their little outfits. But her face lifted into an amused smile seeing her son in that traditional wear. An awkward smile was plastered on his lips. Alizeh laughed seeing a little girl of his age accompanying him in her cute little Lehanga.

She heard Shehryar chuckled beside her.

"He is clearly not so happy with all this."

"His face is telling it but he looks so cute! Just like you."

She held his arm making him smile some more. Taking out her phone she clicked as many pictures of Ayan as she could.

After the function finished she ran towards him and bent down to reach his height. Shehryar slowly made his way with Arfa resting her head on his shoulder almost asleep.

"You were too good."

Alizeh complimented her son who was eyeing his clothes as if wanted to take it out any moment. Her boy and his father surely could never carry off traditional outfits.

"Your Mama is right buddy."

Shehryar ruffled Ayan's hair and looked at the girl standing next to him.

"And what's your name"

"Samara."

She replied giving her toothy smile to him.

"Samara, you look beautiful."

"Thank you!"

They were having a small chat with the kids when Samara's mom came and took her with her after pinching Ayan's cheek and telling him he looked so damn cute much to his annoyance. He was never good with handling all the attention. Ayan happened to be a shy child. And according to Rodaba, he was the exact replica of his father. Shehryar was also a shy kid.

"Mama, I can't wear it anymore!"

"But Dado wants to see you in this, sweetie. We'll chance after getting home okay."

Alizeh said closing the door after sitting on the front seat. Ayan nodded grumpily when his father tossed his favourite chocolate towards him making him grin.
