That's the thing about Love, no matter what, it always brings you back home.

Coming back here, a place which has been his comfort place, his safe heaven, his home, is surely something Arhaan Ahmed didn't expect when he boarded his flight to Delhi. But then who are we to decide the destiny.

Our decisions in the presents reflects in our future.

And certainly coming here is not at all a bad decision.

This place is where he found himself so many years ago, a place where he found his love, his family, his people who actually cared for him. They still do and he knows that but thins happened, and he lost them all.

While coming here,he never thought of this hug, a hug from his Maa after everything he did. He expected slaps, slaps like he used to get, every time he did a mistake in the past.

But the bone crushing hug is melting this stone hearted businessman.

Here he is not a businessman anymore. He is again the broken guy who used to hug Siara every time he used to get bullied in school, the young college guy who cried after failing his first test, the nervous man who hug her tight before going for his first meeting. Today he is not the cunning Arhaan Ahmed whose one look can bury people six feet deep. Today he is just Arhaan.

Siara's boy Arhaan.

And he never expected this to happen like this.

"Ap gussa nahi ho, Maa?" He finally asked Siara without breaking the hug.

"Maa hun, kaise naraz rehti." She answered him taking towards the living room , making him sit and keeping his cookie jar in front of him.

"Maa toh ap uss...uski bhi hona? toh?"

"Toh kya?"

"Toh apko toh naraz hona chahiye na Maa."

"Aree woh kyu bhala, saalon baad beta ghar aya hai mere, aur main naraz hojau, haaye aisa din bhi na aye kabhi. Aur raha baat uska, toh wo tum ussi se kar lena. Mera baat karon tum mere se. Maa ko bina bole chale gya, sharam bhi nahi ayi na badmash."

"Sorry.. Maa"..

"Maa ko koi sorry nahi bolta bachey, baith ab aur kahi nahi jana."

"Maa.. ap naraz kyu nahi hai mere sey,?"

"Naraz kyu hongi main bhala, tujhe New York jana tha, toh chala gya, apna dream pura kiya tune. Wo ban gya joh tujhe banna tha. And I am so proud of you beta, you become so successful. Toh naraz kyu hongi?"

"Par maine galat kiya na?"

"Galat toh maine bhi bohut kuch kiya hai na, aur tune wahi kiya joh maine tujhe sikhaya tha. I always told to follow your dreams bacchey, and you did that only. Remember once I told you that, there will be always some prices you have to pay for everything, and you did have the courage to pay that. You did pay it beta. Your dreams costs you your love. But you did fulfil it. And for happiness, you always know where to find it."

"But still Maa, I did.. a mistake right? So scold me. Please"

"Arhaan,.. Remember when you were in class 12th, before your finals, you just refused to study chemistry. Every time I asked you to, you were ready with another excuse. And then one day finally I slapped you, and you cried for the whole hour. Like seriously my 17year old mature son, cried because I slapped him. But then I made to study chemistry. And you topped in that subject.

Beta that was something I can do, and I will teach you everything I know. But gives different situations to everyone. I know you want me to scold you for what you did. I won't. Because only followed your dreams, something I taught you to. And beta you paid a lot for it. "

"And.."

"And her? She did what I taught her. And if you want me to scold you because you left without me. Then no I won't beta. Because she left you too.

If you think you broke her heart, then I know she broke yours too. If she suffered a loss, then you suffered much more. And if I didn't scold her, why would I scold you? What you did was wrong, but what she did was not right too.

We all have our faults beta. And if you hurt her, she killed my son too. So no I won't scold you."

"How can you love me so much?"

"Because you are my Arhaan, I will always love you. I don't need a reason to love you. A mothers' love is always unconditional."

"Maa..." Hugging her he kissed her forehead.

Today this home witness another reunion, a mother met her son after years. Arhaan knew Saira Atif will always stand for him, even if it's the end of the world, she will stand beside him, telling him he is not wrong, the situation is.

And today she again proved herself.

Her living by here by herself and not with her daughter is itself proof how much is missed Arhaan. Being here makes her feel that she was close to him.

Arhaan was afraid that when he left maybe he ended everything, but then there's something called a mother's love, that never changes. He always knew one day he have to come back, and that day Saira would be the first person to hold him. But now after listening to her, he regrets.

He should have taken Saira along with him.

This place no matter how much good is, the people over here are horrible.

That was the primary reason Saira left Delhi years ago and moved to Lucknow, where she met the seventeen years Arhaan. She became his friend, Saira was in her late thirties at that time and the closest person to him. From that time a story started.

Something which deserves a much better conclusion than it got years ago.

.............

Coming back to this place, The Khan Haweli is something Seher thought she would never do when she left. This place had been a witness of all the best and worst memories and moments of her life. Here breezes touch her face like lingering kisses on them, plays with her hair taking her back to the memory lanes.

This is the place where she is supposed to actually feel a part of warmness she had been lacking for a long time.

Kisse hain, baatein hain

Nagme hain, shikve hain

Kisse hain, baatein hain

Baatein bhool jaati hain

Yaadein yaad aati hain

The past is playing in front of her eyes. This is the place she used to call home for the longest time she could remember.

From bumping on the corridor at midnight to sneaking into the kitchen, from her welcome as a daughter, as the best friend of the son of this haveli to her farewell without a goodbye.

This place had been a witness of her laughs, her pranks, her childhood, her love, her pain, her tears finally her downfall.

Yeh yaadein kisi dil-o-jaanam ke

Chale jaane ke baad aati hain

Two years ago she left this place leaving everything behind with a broken heart and a bundle of responsibilities. She was twenty-three at that time, a fresh MBA graduate. Delhi is certainly not the place Seher ever wanted to settle down. That too somewhere she lost her last hope too. But life never gave her much option. So she chose Delhi, somewhere she had her most cherished memories.

Today standing on the porch of The Khan Haweli, she won't have the feeling of homecoming, all she has is feeling nostalgic.

But not the feeling of being home.

She is not home.

Home is where the heart is.

And her heart is not here, not anymore.

Walking inside the Haweli her steps are not much steady. Years ago she stepped inside this haweli from these same double doors. That time she was only the best of the son of this haweli. A girl unknown to everyone, who made everyone admire her.

Sadia knew from the very first time, this girl is meant to rule this haweli. The girl will rule the palace and their hearts, and even dig out things that were better kept hidden, she will burn this Haweli in hell. She will be the only one, who can keep them together, and the only one who can make them fall apart too.

It's been more than a decade, and Sadia was right back them. This girl with brown eyes, innocent confident smile really ruled their hearts for a decade now, and even ruled this haweli too. She kept this haweli together for years, and when one day she learnt the past, hell broke down. The haweli became a massive house losing all its colours, it's no more home.

Sadia Khan may be a manipulative woman but no one can really not like Seher Mirza. But from that day she loathed Seher. Hated her for leaving. Hated her because she didn't stay, and the family broke apart.

This place is uncomfortably silent today, Rubina left for her room, and here Seher is standing in front of her room, waiting for something, for someone to take her inside just like the first time.

That was the first day she came inside this room, after that day she never thought for once before coming here, this became her room from that day but today without him stepping inside feels wrong.

A lone tear makes its way out from her eyes. Without thinking twice she left the hallway coming towards the porch as if running from something.

"Seher Begum?" The voice of Bilal chacha came from behind the car. Bilal had been loyal to Khan Haweli for decades now. And seeing Seher Begum like this he couldn't stop himself.

"Kaise ho ap chacha?" That's the thing about Seher Mirza, she cares for everyone around her. Something about her is there, that's why everyone admires her.

"Sab khairiyat hai. Ap ko kahi jana hai."

Even without her knowing, she nodded her head and get on the car.

"Kaha ?"

"Grocery." She replied without thinking. Stocking groceries for her place is something she hadn't done for a long time now. And today she needs to do it.

"Phir wapas yaha?"

"Phir Ghar jana hai chacha." A knowing smile came on Bilal's face and he drove her towards her destination.

.........

Even meeting Saira for a few hours make his heart at ease. And then by the next flight, he came to Lucknow.

The place where he lived.

The place where he died.

Stepping out of the bathroom of his room he directly goes to sleep. This place is something he built for his Sherni and without her around this place is nothing. But he is really exhausted. First continuous meetings back in NYC then his long flight to Delhi, his emotional meets with past and then again a flight to Lucknow.

Now the moment he got into the bed he was out.

Standing in front of familiar brown doors, her heart is beating extra fast now.

This is the place of her love.

The place he built for her.

The place which is her home.

With heavy feet, she stepped inside. Everything is the same as the way she left. The interior is pretty much similar to her mother's house back in Delhi.

That was the sole reason she brought a different place for herself.

Anything related to him is priceless for her. But without having him around those things only haunt her.

Haunt her like echoes fading behind, losing their meanings, their existence.

She made her way toward the kitchen, setting the bags on the counter. There is no dust saying that the caretaker did her job well. She opened the tap and started scrubbing her hands as if some invisible ink is there.

.............

Sounds coming from downstairs make him wake. And he rushed there thinking it to be an intruder.

But he feels peace, peace of homecoming.

Standing in a green salwaar, long hairs open engrossed with her kitchen supplies there stood the beauty with brown eyes in front of him. Feeling known eyes upon her she stopped, tears betrayed her this time.

With a little courage she looked in the direction, and there stands the person she loved, the person who left, then she waited for.

The person who was her safe cocoon.

She is finally home, after years.

Ab Thak Chuke Hai Ye Kadam

Chal Ghar Chalen Mere Humdum

This is what homecoming feels like.

This is his home.

The place where he ended it.

The place where she killed him.

The place where she got her heaven

. The where she lost her home.

The place he built for her.

The place where their heart lies.

Jisme Rahein Tum Aur Hum

Chal Ghar Chalein Mere Humdum

With heavy steps, he comes closer to her, kissing her tears like old days. She blinks her eyes, once, twice, thrice as if he is an illusion ready to disappear any moment. He feels the same, so he pulls her towards him, touching her cheeks with the back of his hands.

Feeling her presence, absorbing her fragrance.

"Are you really here?" She whispered lowly.

"I'm here. I am home. Finally home."

And she cried hiding herself in his arms.

He missed it.

He missed her.

Years of emptiness, longing, pain, anger everything dissolves into thin air.

"You still have fever." He said knowing very well she didn't take her medicines in the morning.

"You didn't give me my medicines." She answered as if it was his mistake.

"And what you did when I was not here. Always been this careless Mohtarma?"

"As if you care."

"You know it very well Sherni."

"Arhaan....."

Two lovers are here in their home. After years of waiting, longing and running from each other.

Today they are here.

Today they have each other, and this time both are in a complete sense.

This home is witnessing yet another reunion of two lost souls, finding their solace in each other's arms.

No one utters a single word, it is comfortable silence. They are absorbing each other's presence. The sky falls again together, showing its gratitude, its approval to them. And things got carried away on their own, from the kitchen to the nearby room.

Kissing Seher after so long feels like heaven. She is his heaven. One kiss leads to another, from lips to jawline, to neck leaving hickey, moaning in pain and pleasure. The back of her left ear has a mole and that's his favourite part, to kiss to suck to bite to leave a hickey, the spot is her weakness.

The whole night is passed in a blur. He worshipped her body after years. Loved her after years.

Make love to her after years. Having her this close, being inside her he feels happy.

That night thing happens, this home echoes of moans, there are tears, pain, pleasure and a certain content feeling of having their lovers back.
