《Sex academy》Sustained

I vaguely recall water and fish, but as I looked up the bright lights of a white ceiling my splitting headache was at the forefront of my mind.
I closed my eyes tightly willing it to go away, through force of will I was able to open them again and look around the room, someone was on a chair to my right, he seemed to be sleeping.
I groaned at the rush of pain caused by my movement to sit up in bed. The figure woke and hastily rushed to my side.
"Just relax, you had a pretty bad head injury you need to rest" a gruff voice stated, gently helping me back.
"Owen?" I mumbled, resting my head on the pillow.
"The one and only" he replied, though he chuckled, there was a tension behind his words.
"You can't really say the one and only if you have an identical twin, we look exactly alike" Seth stated walking in, he held something in his hands.
"Your coffee" he whispered to Owen,
"My head hurts" I groaned turning my head from the bright lights, but it didn't seem to block anything out.
"Turn off the lights, they're bothering her" a voice said, a click of a switch and the room was less bright than before, although the light from the hall was just as worse.
"I'm going to call a nurse and see what we can do to get her out of here" one of the twins said it, the voice sounded distant.
I felt a gentle tapping on my cheek.
"Scarlett your at the hospital, you've suffered a concussion. We need you up and about to see how severe your injury is" a soft voice spoke, the nurse I'm guessing.
I forced one eye open and cringed at the bright light.
"Which hospital" I asked,
"You're back in Miami, a hospital near the south beach, remember its just around the corner from the academy" a male voice replied,
"Did someone call my Mum?" I asked, looking at the faces in the room,
"We'll do that right now" I knew the twins were in the room but my vision was so blurry I couldn't tell which one spoke,
I attempted to sit up, and a sudden wave of nausea hit me. I vomited over the side of the bed.

"Clean up" a nurse shouted rushing to me, I heard the patter of feet and I felt many hands reaching and moving me, a cold shiver went down my body as one removed my blanket, and the smell of disinfectant wafted through the room.
"I'm sure you feel much better after that, I'll move the bed so that you can sit up" a nurse said kindly, the bed began to beep as it moved into a sitting position.
Pillows were moved around, I managed to open my eyes. My lips cracked and mouth dry, "water" I asked, my eyes still adjusting to the light.
Suddenly a cup was at my lips, and water being poured in tiny sips into my mouth. I gulped my thirst feeling insatiable.
"So what happens now" a voice asked,
"Well she sustained a concussion, but she seems to be talking just fine, she'll need another day or two under observation but after that if everything seems fine she's free to go home"
The nurse was dismissed with a simple thank you.
"I managed to get her mums number from the academy, flirted with the receptionist but her mums on the way"
"Good, what about her friend...what's her name? The one that's partnered with the guy who's name is like a weather forecast or something" I didn't need to see his face to know that was Owen,
"Stacey you mean, she's partnered with Raine" I mumbled, albeit a little incoherently.
"There's our girl" Seth said, coming over to me and holding my hand, Owen followed suit holding my other hand standing across from Seth.
I blinked multiple times in order to clear my vision, the blur was still present but it had cleared a little at least.
"How are you feeling?" Seth asked, patting my hand.
"Like a truck ran me over" I joked, although it wasn't a complete lie I felt awful.
"I know but hopefully you'll feel better with rest and we'll be out of here in a couple days" Owen replied, the twins shared a wicked look,
"Back to our own rough play in no time" Seth winked.
I laughed, shaking my head....the movement made me nauseous so I rested my head on the pillow.
"For now we're not going anywhere" Seth said resting his feet on the bed.

*&*
A had a warm tray placed in front of me, uncovering the plates I seen peas, mashed potato, and some form of slobber they had called a stew. With this I had sent the twins to get me some food, and to provide me with some quiet time. I was picking my food when my mum rushed in.
"Oh my darling I heard the news, some nice boys from your school called, how are you feeling" she rushed to my side looking over me as if a concussion could be seen written on my skin.
"I'm fine Mum, missed you though" I replied opening my arms and drawing her in for a hug.
"So did I, here I was thinking all your experiences were full of fun and carelessness" she said smiling softly,
"We were snorkelling when I got this concussion" I stated pointing to my head.
"Yes so I heard, where is the boy that took you snorkelling?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"His names Seth" I didn't even bother trying to explain how there was another twin cause that was going to lead to a conversation I didn't want to hear.
"Yes, he sounded handsome on the phone" she said simply,
"Yes he is.....but how's dad I haven't heard from him," and suddenly the conversation turned somber.
"Scarlett there's news that I've been meaning to give you for some time now, but I haven't been able to catch you at the academy.....but being in a hospital now I'm not sure it's the best place" She rambled, why was she rambling? Did something happen to my dad?
"Mum is dad okay??" All the possible outcomes were pouring in my head, and none of them good.
She laughed blandly, "oh darling he's fine," her tone seemed to be bitter.
"And?" I encouraged her to continue,
"And he's been cheating on me with another woman....and then he had the balls to fight with me over where I had sent you when he figured it out" she started, her eyes drifting off as if reliving the memory; "so I told him I didn't want him in our lives" she said in a huff, turning back to me.
I nodded, taking it all in...my head still hurt, but so did my heart. When did things start to go so wrong?
"I understand, it's better this way" I replied, a wave of nausea washed over me, but this had nothing to do with my concussion.
"Is he going to come see me now that he knows where I am...and what I'm doing" I continued, my voice suddenly hoarse.
"I'm not sure, to be quite frank I'd prefer not to bump into him" Mum said blandly.
A silence washed over us, and by some miracle the twins walked in with a big fuss...which was a welcome change.
"Hello, you must be Scarlett's mother" Seth said, setting down the bags of food and reaching out a hand to shake my mothers.
"Yes...Sandra, and you are?" my Mum replied smiling, she turned to me and gave me a sly look and a wink, I knew what that meant. I shook my head chuckling.
"Seth Vaughn, and this is my brother Owen," I was slightly taken aback by their surname...that was the first I'd heard of it. The Vaughn family were well known, and had a lot of money....they owned a chain of family businesses in several states, I hadn't expected this.
Owen seemed to catch my wariness and frowned. Seth looked over at him confused and then followed his stare to me, I simply smiled.
"Food?" I croaked, I was thirsty, so thirsty...although I didn't think with all this nausea I'd be able to eat anything.
"Of course" Owen said, nudging Seth to pass the bags.
"I'm famished" my Mum added, I looked over and realised it seemed with her new found relationship status my mum was interested in the twins. Did her cleavage seem more obvious? Oh my god this wasn't happening.

Small Chests Are Fine Too
It is an undeniable fact that good things come in small packages. More often than not, it is necessary to trim the fat in order to bring what really matters to the forefront. Having extra bulk may seem like a good idea, but in reality it is merely a crutch that will one day become a hindrance, as it is no substitute for personality nor ability. Indeed, often times it is the small things in life that brighten up our daily lives and constantly remind us exactly why we do the things we do. However, it is important to keep an open mind, for while bigger is not always better, there are also times when it is. This holds especially true when it comes to hopes and dreams, which have been known to require a suitably large container from time to time. And while dreaming big could potentially lead to massive dissapointment, one will never truly reach fulfilment if they think too small. A truth that one small woman with meager aspirations is about to find out. DISCLAIMER: This is a spin-off/side story of my main series, Everybody Loves Large Chests, which is also mandatory reading to understand this one. It runs parallel to the main plot, branching off from the chapter titled Upheaval 2, so there will be spoilers for anyone who hasn't reached that point.
