《Satan's Assassin》:Chapter 14:

I rushed down the Ashford's gravel driveway. "Damn it Orchid why do you have to be such an idiot sometimes." I muttered. I threw my backpack over my shoulders then started running down the driveway. I remember the text my personal witch Orchid sent me. 'Hey Isabella I got you the potions you needed, bad news a group of rouges spotted me, think you could help this little innocent witch out.'
Sometimes I wonder if Orchid was born with a brain. Maybe instead of her nickname 'The most powerful witch.' it should be 'The brainless witch.' But she's my personal witch and first friend. Right then I got a text message. Taking my phone out I read it. 'Hey Isabella hoped you enjoyed the dinner, Kadan wanted to tell me he brought your Harley it's in the red pickup.' A text message from Nico.
"You got lucky Kadan that I really need my Harley right now." I said as I turned around to go to the red pickup. The pickup came into view with my baby in the trunk. I literally ran to my Harley. "How am I suppose to get this out?" I asked to myself. When I breathed my breath turned to mist. I really regret now bringing some type of jacket.
Someone started running down the driveway. I turned my head to a figure. It stopped right by me. The figure was Dalton. In his hand was a leather jacket. "I thought you might need some help getting your Harley out of Kadan's pickup and maybe something to keep you warm." Dalton said.
I nodded. Dalton walked up to me and pushed the leather jacket against my chest. I grabbed it and held it. Dalton walked up to the pickup and brought the end of it down. He got to work on getting my Harley out.
I looked at the leather jacket he handed me. I held it out in front of me. It was the same size as the one Dalton was wearing. The inside was padded with under armor that bikers use. Looks like Dalton might like me.
I don't know why a hint of a smile crept on my face. Turning it around I slipped it on. It was heavier than my jacket. Probably has more under armor than my only leather jacket. That's when I noticed a little name on the breast pocket. Dalton freaking had his name on his leather jacket. What is it with rich people.

"Got it down." Dalton said holding up my Harley. I ran towards it. I pulled myself on it. I looked at Dalton who was holding up my helmet. I motioned for it. He gave it to me. Clipping it on i stared at him. "Just give me the jacket Monday or if you come over again this weekend." Dalton said.
I nodded. "But I have one question." Dalton said. "Shoot." I said. "How is it you can hold up an 800 pound Harley but can't open your water bottle at lunch?" Dalton asked with a smile. "Bye." I said as I decided to turn my Harley on and drive away.
I may not be looking but I know Dalton's watching me leave. I drove through their dirt road. Unlike the first time, the woods weren't beautiful they were scary and horrifying. It's like their limbs were reaching out to grab me.
Pressing on it, I speed away. I have no idea where Orchid is but I always find that redheaded witch. I swear she sometimes practices bitchcraft and not witchcraft. I turned right into a even creepier path. I am so going to get lost.
Suddenly a low deep angry howl broke though the woods. Then a high pitched scream. Ok just follow Orchid's scream. That was obviously her scream. Reaching behind I grabbed my black shades and bandana. I kept one hand on and used the other ones to unhook my chains. It took some time but I got Dalton's jacket off and in my bag and had on my denim jacket and was attempting to zip it up. Kids don't try this at home.
I looked down at my outfit and shrugged. Not what I usually where but don't want to give my cover away in case Dalton and his brothers investigate. Stepping on it I flew down the street. This was so much fun.
Right then I saw Orchid. Clutching the brakes, I skidded across the ground. I stopped my bike and looked at the rouges. I swung my leg off of the Harley and started walking towards him. I was smirking underneath my bandana and I knew they could see it.
"Who has fire made of blue and red?" I asked. I took a step forward. "Who sold their soul to the devil?" I asked. "Who has awesome pistols that will be your executer?" I asked. "Who goes bang bang?" I asked. "Answer is me." I said reaching into my pocket and grabbing my twin pistols. Twirling them around I smirked. "Also known as Satan's Assassin or your personal executer." I said.

The rouge wolf backed away from Orchid and looked at me snarling, salvia dripping from it's muzzle. It growled at the other wolves, then it looked at me. Then they launched themselves at me.
{Now would be the perfect time to play the song.}
Cocking the pistols back I smirked. Waiting for the perfect moment to shoot. Just as the grey wolf jumped at me, I shot. The wolf then collided with the ground. Another wolf jumped at me and I shot. Turning around I shot about 5 times. 5 wolves collided into the ground.
I pointed my gun to the left and pulled the trigger. I heard a whimper. I broke out at a run towards Orchid. I could hear the rouge wolves growling at me. I just bet they were dying to sink there teeth into me. I slid across the ground my vans pressing into the ground.
I aimed my pistols and pressed the triggers repeatedly. Wolves started dropping one by one. "Nice job Iz." Orchid said pressing into the tree.
I looked at her with pity. Her long bright red curly hair had sticks and twigs caught in them. Her forest green eyes with the brown spots looked wild. Her once long black dress with a cat's face at the top was all ripped. Her black fuzzy boots had leaves on them everywhere.
"Yeah, but every time I shoot one, another one replaces it." I said shooting a red wolf in the heart about 5 times. "Let me help." Orchid said reaching into her boot getting her wand. Her wand was a brown black color with a golden tint to it. It was made from kronics laugh, a demon material, and dipped in heavenly fire.
Orchid looked at the wolves with hate. "No one rips my dress and worries my friend and gets away with it." Orchid said her wand lighting up red at the tip.
She pointed her wand at a little group of rouge wolves. "Apportez les cieux." Orchid yelled. A huge light burst out of Orchid's wand and it went at the rouge wolves. I smirked. They were goners. She just casted the heavens blast.
The group it hit started whimpering. A huge burst of heavenly light exploded over them. I looked at Orchid and smiled. "Like the old days." I said. Then I pressed the trigger like a maniac. Orchid kept on aiming her wand with a throw releasing a burst of power at the rouges.
Just as I went to shoot, my gun clicked. Sweat was lining my forehead. Standing up I looked at Orchid. "I'm out of ammo and I only have a small dagger which won't do much." I said. "I'm almost at my edge with my magik." Orchid said as she blasted the rouges near us away.
Orchid went to go do it again. But nothing happened. "I'm out of magik." Orchid said scared. Shivers ran up my spine. If I did anything Satan revealed I could be caught. Orchid suddenly started hugging me, tears streaming down her face. "We're gonna die." Orchid cried.
I pushed Orchid behind me. Reaching into my bag I grabbed the small dagger. "This won't do much but when I attack run." I said. "But what about you?" Orchid asked fear lacing in her voice. "Leave me, I'm not gonna let you die." I said standing in front of Orchid. Tears were streaming down Orchid's face. "You were the best friend I have ever had." Orchid said. I smiled at that. "You were my first friend." I said blinking back tears.
Turning around I brought my dagger to my side. "Orchid run!" I yelled at her. Orchid cried but started running. The rouges started growling. "You want her you have to go through me you mutts, come on!" I yelled at them.
The gray wolf growled at me. Then it attacked. "I'm sorry Mom, I may be meeting you, but I'll fight to my last breath." I said. Grasping my dagger I glared at the wolf. "Come and get me big guy." I said.

The Emperor's Concubine
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] The heroine is good and the villainess is evil. That was the absolute truth. That rule was undeniable as well as the fact that only the heroine would receive true love and her happy ending. Likewise, the malicious villainess would always suffer and leave the stage to clear the path for the perfect heroine in the end. So, for Blanche it felt like her world came crashing around her when she remembered the truth about her life. As the villainess in the typical romance novel “To Be Empress” she was fated to be condemned and abandoned by her lover. No matter how devoted she was to Theodore Estien, the emperor of Artias, she would only be the bratty concubine that would obstruct the heroine, who happened to be Theodore's lawful wife and the empress. In the end, the villainess would be deserted and executed. It was destined to happen like this, and yet she couldn't give up. She had to change the future. Preventing the romance between the main characters would get her killed. Much like trying to steer away from the enemies' intrigues, in which she was already caught up, would. But neither the heroine nor the emperor's political rivals would change the fact that Blanche loved the man that was supposed to be the heroine's. And no matter what happened she would always stay by her lover's side. So she wouldn't just follow the book's storyline and let her own doom arrive. Blanche would survive while trying to suppress all of the selfish desires that had made her the villainess. But was she truly fine with that? Did she not desire more than just surviving? Did she even have the right? Could the villainess ask for a happy end? Was she too brazen if she just wanted to stay with the man she loved and receive his affection? And wasn't there a bit more to this novel than she remembered? She didn't know and in the end that mattered little when the world around her changed with each day as more and more questions about the future and the past arose. "The Emperor's Concubine" will be updated thrice a week (usually on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) *The Profanity tag was added due to the characters' occasional swearing, which should not happen too often.
