I'm so bored!"Hua Wuxian said as his maids followed him roaming around Gusu Lan Sect
"Your Highness, you'll be attending the morning class this day"His maid said and Hua Wuxian sighed and walked towards the Lanshi
As he entered he saw some students murmuring into something so he quickly joined
'did you hear?the prince of every clan is also here for lessons'
'no one had seen him,I guess as a prince he looks very handsome'
"Don't you remember?the Prince is a son of the Ghost King,no one in the mortal realm had seen the Ghost King before so as a Ghost,he must be really ugly!"Su She said and Hua Wuxian frowned
"How would you know if you haven't seen him?"Wuxian asked and Su She turned to him with a frown
"It's none of your business and not because you have a pretty face you could assume everyone would be nice to you here even if you look quite fancy, you're still a rouge cultivator"Su She said and Wuxian rolled his eyes at him
"tsk"Wuxian said as he walked away
"Hey!what do you--"Su She's words were cut off as someone scolded him
"No shouting,be respectful to every guest here Su Minshan"Lan Qiren said and every students bowed at him along with Lan Xichen who was behind him walking to the front
"You may all take your seats"He said and everyone sat down
Hua Wuxian was sitting without minding everyone's stared at him especially the one beside him as he focused on Lan Qiren
"Do you think he knows us?"
"Shh,be quiet, let's just talk to him after class"
Every heir stood up one by one to introduce and hand the gift they bought for Lan Clan and it was time for Yunmeng Jiang Sect so Jiang Zhan stood up and bowed

Hua Wuxian lazily looked at the heir who was representing and as he turned he widened his eyes
"Z-Zhanzhan?"Hua Wuxian thought as he kept staring at Jiang Zhan the whole time and as he finished and went to take a sit again,Lan Qiren cleared his throat and looked at Hua Wuxian with a nod and Wuxian smiled
Hua Wuxian stood up and everyone looked at him confuse as he was only a rouge cultivatir from their eyes as no one knew him so they all stared at him especially at his face
Lan Zhan kept staring at him and as Hua Wuxian roamed his eyes, his stares stopped at Lan Zhan making them both to widen their eyes and quickly walked away
Hua Wuxian cleared his throat awkwardly "Greetings,I,Hua Wuxian,is here to present the Xianle Kingdom as the Crown Prince"
As he introduced everyone's gasps could be heard and Lan Qiren just sighed at them
'so he's the Prince?'
'he looks so handsome'
'see,I was right the Prince is indeed handsome, not only that, beautiful at the same time!'
These kept going on not until Lan Qiren spoke
"No gossiping in Cloud Recesses,be mindful with the rules"Lan Qiren said and everyone shut their mouth
Lan Zhan just kept staring at his beloved with a smile thinking Wuxian looks more beautiful with ancient fancy robes as thise golden robes reflected every white skin he had and those rosy lips, everyone could mistaken his beloved as a woman
"There goes Wangji'gege again, simping"Lan Yibo whispered to his boyfriend Jiang Zhan making Zhan to hit his shoulders to be quiet
As the classes ended,Wuxian's maids approached him and was about to walk him back to his priavte dormitory when suddenly a group of students called him
"Wei Ying!"They all called and Wuxian turned at them with wide eyes as they jumped to hug him

"What? just making sure you're not really dreaming"Jiang Cheng said and as he felt Lan Zhan's glare he stepped back awkwardly
Lan Zhan approached Hua Wuxian and checked his cheeks
"Does it hurt?"Lan Zhan asked and Hua Wuxian chuckled awkwardly
"U..uhm,Lan Zhan, it's good to see y...you here, again"Hua Wuxian said
"Mn,glad you're doing good here,I..uhm,I missed you I mean w..we missed you"Lan Zhan awkwardly said and everyone of his friends facepalmed
"You can go now, I'm safe here with my friends"Hua Wuxian said and his maids and guards bowed at him as they left
"Gosh,I feel like talking to a god"Jiang Zhan said and Wuxian hugged him
"Oh how I miss you Zhanzhan"Wuxian said and broke off the hug "I miss you all,now tell me,how come you're all here with uhm, with these?you know?"Wuxian asked pointing at their robes

"Oh, I've read a book about your Kingdom,I wanna visit it someday, can we?huh?can we?"Nie Huaisang annoyingly asked and Wuxian rolled his eyes at his friend
"Gosh you're so annoying when you do that but yeah,I guess you can go there once the classes are done"Wuxian said
"It's still after a year!"Huaisang whined and Wuxian flicked his forehead
"Just hang in there, how about we get some tea?"Hua Wuxian asked
"Since when did you liked tea?"Jiang Zhan asked as they all followed Hua Wuxian back to his own dormitory
"I've been joing A-Niang for tea when I went back here so I got used to it"Wuxian replied and stopped infront of his dorm

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes

My father scolds me sharply. I flinch at the anger in his voice and quickly retract my hand, inches from the trunk of the tree. "Sorry father, I couldn't help it. The trees are just so beautiful," I whine turning towards him. His face softens slightly and he scoops me up into his muscled arms. I wrap my small arms around his neck and bury my face into his shoulder. He hugs me tightly and carries me away from the forest. "Why can't we go into the forest?" I ask, looking over his shoulder to see the red and gold leaves slowly disappear from view as we climb the hill. "The forest is a dangerous place," he sighs. "How can something so beautiful be so dangerous?" I mutter in confusion. "The danger is in its beauty."**Cover by SodaliteSilver**
