《Those Eyes (Ayato X Laito)》I'll try

Kanato P. O. V
I walk down the hall just to check on Laito. From a far distance I saw his door wide open. I tilt my head in confusion 'That's weird of him to leave the door open.' I walk towards the opened door and saw Laito sleeping peacefully.
"Hey."
I turned to face the voice that spoke to me. My eyes widen to see Ayato sitting at the edge of Laito's bed.
"Ayato, what a surprise to see you here in his room." I walked to him and lowered my voice so Laito won't wake up.
"Well he hasn't been acting like himself lately so I had to look after him." Ayato turned to look at Laito.
Well I didn't expect Ayato to care about Laito or even me since he thinks that we are disgusting for loving our mother in a different way. I stare blankly at him and realized that his shirt was unbuttoned, did Laito and Ayato made out before I even came in?
I got so curious that I couldn't help but ask him "Ayato why is your shirt unbuttoned? Was Laito the one who unbuttoned it?"
Ayato glared at me as he clicked his tongue "Mind you're own business, this is only between me and Laito."
"But are you developing feelings for Laito?" I couldn't help but ask.
"What did I just told you? Mind your own business." He seemed to be annoyed by my questions.
'They're already making moves on each other, then I guess I just have to do a favor for Ayato.' My smile curled into a grin knowing that Ayato will be cornered by Laito if he's awake.
It was annoying for Ayato to not answer my questions so I'll give him a little punishment.

I turned my head to Laito then at Ayato. My plan for Ayato's punishment will be a success.
I cleared my throat "ALRIGHT A-YA-TO I GUESS I'LL BE GOING NOW!" I yelled as loud as I can.
"Shut up, he's sleeping." Ayato became furious.
"BYE!" I ran out and slam the door.
"Sorry Ayato but that's your punishment." I laughed as I ran back to my room.
Laito P.O.V
I opened my eyes from Kanato's yelling.
"Keep it down." I sat up and started rubbing my eyelids.
"It's Kanato's fault for waking you up."
As I heard that familiar voice I froze in my tracks 'that's Ayato, he really did stayed.'
I smiled and looked forward just to see Ayato "I thought you left."
"You told me to stay, so I did." He sat on the edge of my bed.
I crawled to him "so now that I'm awake, should we continue where we lef-"
"N-no." Ayato blushed.
I know he's lying it's written all over his face "ugh, I guess your rejection will be killing me all over again." My eyes filled with tears as I look away from him 'I hope my acting works.'
"...I know you're acting, stupid." He blushed.
"Just let me do my thing. " I crawled closer to him.
"But why me?" Ayato looked at me.
I sat next to him, what should I do? If I tell him the truth he'll be freaked out about my dreams and he'll avoid me. If I don't tell him the truth then he'll think that I'm faking these problems.
I sigh "I guess I have to tell you the truth about my dreams."
"Go on." Ayato faces me.

"I've been having dreams about mother, I thought it was dream but it turned out to be a nightmare."
I remember her emerald green eyes "she mostly stares at me with a cloak covering her hair. But one night she puts the cloak down and her hair wasn't purple it was red like yours."
Ayato seems to be uncomfortable "why would you dream of something like that? "
"I don't know, it always freaked me out." I clenched my fists.
"Then why are you doing these things to me?"
"You're eyes always reminds me of her, I love mother but she's not here because of us."
Ayato stands up "Don't treat me like her! Treat me like a brother."
"I'm treating you different from her, cause I developed feelings towards you."
"But why me?!"
"Because you always comfort me in any way, you're always there for me when I need someone to lean on. And I know you want the same comfort from me too."
"Bu- I ca-" Ayato couldn't say anything.
I took his hand and held it "Ayato please let me love you."
He looked at my hand and frowns "but we're brothers."
"I don't care if it's incest. I just want to be with you."
Ayato sighed "I guess there is no other way to reject such an idiot brother like you anymore. Let's just take it slow between us."
I hugged him "I'll try."

Nobody's Way
Foreign Thorn: Book 1 For eight centuries, the people of Isla have wanted for nothing. The Creator, Maere, uses Her power not only to keep them healthy and fed, but also to map the direction of each person's future Path - their vocation, role in society, and even the partner they'll spend their life with. In a world where infighting once threatened the very survival of humankind, the old texts say that Maere personally stepped in to help guide Her creations to harmony. All is not well among the people of the northern lands, however, as Jian discovers when she receives her own long-awaited Path. The Creator has chosen to favour some towns, but not others, leading to anarchy and unrest in the east, and fierce distrust between the neighbours who enjoy Her protection and those who don't. After many nights of disturbing premonitions, visions of a face uncannily familiar to her, and a voice beckoning her to "Homeland," Jian decides she needs to find answers for herself. She hires Madrigal, a surly young traveller hailing from an "unblessed" village, to take her to the southern lands. The swordsman is on the run from something, or someone, but Jian has no choice but to trust him. When the two leave the safety of the familiar and meet Quinn, a mysterious boy who seems to know more about Jian than she does about herself, it becomes clear that there are forces besides the old magics, forces completely unknown to the people of Isla, in play. Madrigal and Jian aren't sure if Quinn can be trusted, but they're certain he knows more than he's letting on...

A note from the Author: PLEASE leave a review and alert me of any plot holes, weak portions, and anything else. I am in desperate need of beta readers and feedback. I wrote this around the new year, 2020. It's about 40k words and the first in a planned series that follows Gar "Alany" Darron and his agency of detectives as they track missing persons in the city of Throne. I have the sequel planned but not written. Once this one is completely uploaded, I'll be uploading another, unrelated series that as of right now is roughly 160k words long, and somewhere in there, I'll write the sequel to Frame of Mind. I plan to go back and forth between the two series for the foreseeable future. Thanks for reading.
