"I will go with you now. But can your large bully please let Marty go so a doctor can look over him and make sure he's okay. I will go without a fight if you do that"

My head snapped back over to Alyssa as I processed the words she had just said. This was never part of the plan, the plan was to take Marty by force once Thomas was busy with something else. I took a step in Alyssa's direction, intent on stopping her doing something stupid. A hand on my shoulder stopped me, I turned and came face to face with Felix.

"I wouldn't do that. She has a new plan, trust her that she knows what she is doing"

I nodded and turned back around, just as the large man that had Marty lowered him onto the ground. I caught Marty mid air as he launched himself into my arms, my heart broke as I heard the soft crying. He buried himself into my shoulder and wrapped his arms around my neck. I kissed his hair and pulled him back so I could look at him. His face was covered in blood and cuts. His arms were much the same, I had to stop myself before I went over there and pulled Thomas' heart out of his chest.

"Hey there Marty, I'm going to give you to uncle Thrain okay? He's going to take you to see the doctor"

"No, I want to stay here with you"

"You can't Marty. I need you to go with Thrain okay? You need to go and get checked over by the doctor. Alexis and Julius will be there"

"Is Rosie with them?"

"I'm afraid not little man. But I'm sure they will have lots of stories to tell you about her"

"Okay. I'll go but be safe and I love you"

I chuckled and shook my head "I love you too Marty"

Thrain came over and took him out of my arms and started walking back to the camp. Marty was cuddled up to his shoulder but he was smiling. He never ceases to amaze me what a strong kid he is.

"Um, what's going on with Alyssa?" Felix took a step toward them but stopped when he saw Alyssa's face

I turned my head and I could feel my eyes widen "Oh shit, he's in trouble. Not good" I stepped to the side and saw what Thomas was seeing and to be honest, I was shocked. I have never seen someone half shift before. Alyssa had fur sprouted out of her arms and legs, she had a snout and sharp teeth but everything else looked human. She had gotten extremely tall and her arms were elongated with extremely sharp claws on the end. She looked kind of terrifying to be honest, it made me glad that I had sent Marty away. We all looked on in abject horror as she stalked slowly towards Thomas, her glowing red eyes never leaving him, her prey.

"Everyone attack!" Thomas yells, and takes a step back

The remaining wolves all jump into action, some tried to get to Alyssa and the others went after the rest of the pack. But our pack was stronger, in minutes, they had Thomas' wolves subdued and on the ground with no casualties. Alyssa didn't want to kill anyone, just in case Thomas was blackmailing them into helping him. Which wouldn't surprise me to be honest.

Thomas' face turned white as a sheet when he noticed all of his wolves on the ground and not moving, he took another step backward but stopped when a feral growl tore from Alyssa.

She stopped right in front of him, not moving, not saying anything. I walked over toward them, taking my time. As I stood beside Alyssa, I noticed a very scary serene smile on her face, directed at Thomas. She was frightening at the moment, I know she isn't herself and I don't think she will ever really be the same after this. She has never gone this far into her haze and I'm afraid of what it is doing to her soul, she is such a gentle soul but now that our pup was threatened, I think it took her over the edge. I hope I get my Alyssa back after this.

Thomas must have just noticed me as he turned towards me, his face and eyes were red, like he had been crying. He was sweating profusely and I could detect a slight shake on his hands.

"Help me. Tell her to back off"

"Can't do that. I thought you were going to be able to control her? You want to mate with her after all"

"Not like this I don't. I want the hot Alyssa back. And why does she smell so different?"

"Look bud. I'm not going to do anything but stand here and watch you as Alyssa tears you to shreds. You took my pup and threatened to kill every single pup in our pack"

"W-What are y-you talking about?"

"Oh, see I am Alyssa's mate. Her true mate. My name is Damien, Alpha of the Silver Thunder Pack. Well, ex-Alpha now. Considering I gave up my position once Alyssa and I mated"

"She's the Alpha of your pack? But she's a woman!"

"Yes and I do believe that she is much stronger then you are right now. I'm not sure why you insist on insulting her, she's right here and I don't think shes too happy with you"

Thomas turned his face back to Alyssa and gulped as he saw a hand reaching for him. Alyssa grabbed Thomas around the throat and bought him close to her own face.

"You dare to threaten everyone I love? You dare to think that I would ever take you as a mate? You are a pathetic excuse for an Alpha. Your pack will never respect you. You will be going with the King and Queen, but after I am through with you of course"

"The King and Queen?! Why have they come? This is a matter between two Alpha's"

"Yes, but you made it worse by taking an Alpha's pup. That is inexcusable" I replied

Before Thomas could react, Alyssa took her other hand and thrust it into his stomach. Thomas' eyes went wide and then a loud, shrill scream escaped from his lips, the wolves from his pack were all looking on in horror. But they didn't seem scared of Alyssa.

Alyssa withdrew her hand and blood came gushing out of the hole now in his stomach. She took her bloodied hand and held it in front of his face.

"You made a mistake Thomas, I always respected your father, he treated me like a person. But you always treated me like I was just a toy, and now you have done something unforgivable, taking my pup. I may not have birthed him, but he is mine. Now, I am not allowed to kill you, but I will make sure that the palace doctor has his work cut out for him in making sure you heal properly"

She took a single razor sharp claw and held it at his left eyebrow, then ever so slowly, she drew her claw down over his eye, down across his nose, down his right cheek and ending at his jaw, under his ear. The screams that tore out of his mouth left most cringing, but it looked like Alyssa fed on the pain and suffering that she inflicted. I wanted some part of her to come out of this so just as she raised her hand to do it to the other side, I stepped closer and laid my hand on her shoulder. Her head snapped over to me and a feral growl slipped out, I was infringing on her prey and she didn't like that. But I had to stop this.

"Alyssa. Come back to me love. You have done enough. Marty is safe"

Her eyebrows turned down in a frown, I could see she was fighting for control. I kept going.

"Love, think of the baby. Too much stress could make him come early" A bit of the red lifted "Marty is with Alexis and Julius and waiting for you" A little more lifted "The pack is waiting to go home now"

Finally, she shook her head. The fur retreated under her skin, her snout went back and she shrunk back to her original height. She looked at Thomas in front of her and threw him away from her. She turned to me and collapsed into my arms. I could feel her body shaking and tiny drops of wetness on my shirt. I lifted her into my arms and started to walk back to the others. I stopped in front of Felix and motioned for him to take her from me.

"Can you take her back? I need to deal with everything here"

"Yeah, of course. Is she okay? What the fuck was that?"

"I will let her explain everything but she will be fine, she is just exhausted" I brushed her hair away from her face and planted a light kiss on her forehead.

Felix nodded to me and turned toward the camp, he shifted her a couple of times before he got her into a comfortable position enough for him to run. I waited until they were out of sight until I turned around to face the rest of the pack. They still had the remainders of Thomas' pack on the ground.

"Let them up" Slowly, they all let go of them and Thomas' pack got to their feet looking uncertain

"We aren't going to hurt you. I have a question for all of you. If you were made by Thomas to be here today then please sit. If not, then stay standing"

Everyone but three people sat down, one of them was the large man that was holding Marty. I motioned for them to be restrained. The large man didn't say anything but the two smaller ones were kicking up a storm.

"What the hell? I thought you said you weren't going to hurt us"

"I'm not, but I'm also not going to let you go. You kidnapped and hurt my pup, of your own freewill. You will be presented to the King and Queen"

Their faces paled as my guards took them away. Everyone else looked on in apprehension. I didn't blame them really.

"Everyone else, please stand" They all stood "I know you now have no Alpha, so I will offer this only once. You may come and join our pack and you and your family will be welcomed with open arms. If you do not wish to, that is fine. But you will have to find another pack to join as yours will be dismantled after this"

Everyone nodded and fell into step behind my other pack members. I smiled and started walking back to my family.

Time to go home and get back to normal.
