《Blood Alpha (Completed)》Chapter 21

An hour later I had finished all my work and was just about to walk out when the door flew open and a small blur entered. I laughed as Marty came to a quick stop in front of me, his brown eyes looked up at me with excitement and he was bouncing up and down on his toes.
"Come on mama Ally. Let's go, let's go" He grabbed my hand and began pulling me from the room.
"I'm coming little wolf, slow down" I chuckled but that didn't stop him, he kept pulling until we were outside.
I pulled him to a stop as we entered the tree line and stooped down "Up you get, we'll get there faster if I run"
Without any hesitation, Marty jumped onto my back and locked his arms around my neck, damn near chocking me out, I adjusted his arms and made sure he was secure by holding onto his legs.
Where are we meeting you my love? I asked Damien through our mind link
The border, then we will walk there together. And I love it when you say that
Smiling softly, I took off into a run and into the woods. The trees all blurred together as I ran, I dodged the low hanging branches and jumped over tree roots. Marty was giggling away on my back, his laugh ringing out among the other sounds of the forest. It didn't take long before we reached the border between our territories. Damien was waiting, his long body was leaning against a tree casually. A picnic basket was sitting on the ground by his feet. He had changed since the last time I saw him. He was now wearing a pair of black dress pants that hugged his legs and his ass. The dark blue dress shirt was tight against his chest, the top few buttons undone and the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. His strong forearms on display with the veins popping out as he flexed his muscles. I sighed, I always did have a thing for forearms.
M'anamchara, stop looking at me like that. Not while Marty is around
My stomach fluttered with anticipation, I was looking forward to tonight. Damien was staying the night and truthfully, I was most looking forward to just falling asleep in his arms. I stopped in front of him and stooped down so Marty could hop off. As soon as both feet were firmly planted on the ground, he ran to Damien and threw his arms around his legs.
"Damien! I missed you, what's that? Where are we going? How long are we staying?" Marty's mouth was moving a mile a minute, barely taking a breath.

Damien bent down and picked Marty up into his arms before walking over to me. He wrapped his free arm around my waist and pressed a kiss to my temple. I took a deep breath of his scent and felt my body relaxing, my wolf curled up in my mind in Ecstasy.
"Can you grab the basket love?"
"Of course" I grabbed the basket and we set off to our destination.
Damien was a couple of steps in front of me, still holding onto Marty. They were talking softly, heads bent together. I caught snippets of the conversation, Marty was telling him all about what he had been learning in school and what he most looking forward to.
We hadn't been walking very long before we entered a clearing. The breath was stolen right out of my body. In the middle of the clearing was a crystal clear lake, there was a small stream that connected the lake to the mountains. It was clear that the lake was a run off but it made it no less beautiful. The outcroppings of rocks were a perfect place to jump off, wild flowers grew in patches all around and the sun was shining through the trees and bouncing off the surface of the water.
Marty gasped and jumped out of Damien's arms, he raced toward the lake without a backward glance at us. We both chuckled before Damien turned to me and gave me a lopsided grin before taking the basket off me and striding to a patch of grass to the side of the lake. He opened the basket and pulled out a blanket, he shook it out before laying it down on the grass.
He beckoned me over with a crooked finger, he had a sly smile on his face while his other hand was hidden behind his back.
"What are you hiding Damien?" I asked as I stood in front of him.
His hand came out from behind his back and he shrugged " Just a beautiful flower for my beautiful mate" He tucked a simple purple wild flower behind my ear.
My heart fluttered with love for this man that stood in front of me. I couldn't reconcile the man in front of me with all the rumours I had heard about him. I stepped forward and rested my cheek on his strong chest, Marty was still running around checking everything out. I chuckled, he would sleep well tonight.
Damien pulled me down so were sitting on the blanket. He pulled the basket closer to himself and opened it, he started pulling out various fruits, nuts and some sandwiches. Some juice for Marty and some wine for us was next.

"Did you pack all that yourself?" I asked with a raised eyebrow
Damien gasped and put a hand to his chest "You wound me love"
I chuckled at his dramatics "So you did?"
"Of course, I wanted it to be special"
I interlaced our fingers and smiled softly up at him before grabbing some grapes and plopping them in my mouth. I called for Marty and he came running over, no doubt he would be hungry after all his running.
He grabbed a sandwich and some juice, shoved it in his mouth before he took off running again, all I could do was shake my head.
"Alyssa?" I turned to face Damien "Could you tell me about why you call Thrain your brother? You don't have the familial scent" He looked like he didn't want to ask it but I could see it was eating at him. I realized that when we were originally talking about family, I never actually told him the whole story.
I launched into the whole story about how my pack was destroyed and what happened after. By the end Damien was threatening Thomas' life, to be honest I would love to see Damien rip him apart.
Damien shook his head "Remind me to thank Thrain for getting you out of there that night" He was shaking a little bit, I guess in fear of the fact that he could have lost me forever.
But I was lost in thought, I may have gained a brother that night but I also lost one. My sweet older brother, I don't know what happened to him, I know my parents died, I could feel it. But in the midst of all the pack bonds breaking, I couldn't tell if the sibling bond broke.
A light touch bought me out of my thoughts, Damien was softly wiping a tear off my cheek.
"I'm sorry for bringing that memory up love"
I shook my head and grinned at him. I wiped the rest of the tears off just as Marty came bounding over, excitement in his eyes.
"Can we go for a swim? The water looks so nice Mama Ally"
Damien and I both laughed as I nodded. Marty threw his shirt off and took off into the water. I grinned slyly at Damien and his eyes grew darker, I stood and slowly lifted my shirt over my head. I didn't bring any swimmers with me so a lacy bra and underwear set was all I was wearing. I slowly slid my shorts off and gave him a wink before I started running.
A loud growl sounded behind me before my feet left the ground, then I was plunged into cool water. Lifting my head out of the water I scowled at Damien as him and Marty laughed loudly at my face. With a war cry, I dived towards them and tried to jump on Damien, prompting them to try to escape.

We spent hours playing in the lake and running around chasing each other, it truly was the best day of my life so far.
We are on our way back now, Marty couldn't keep his eyes open any longer and had fallen asleep with his head resting on Damien's lap. Damien himself looked like he had won the lottery and didn't want to disturb him, but a quick image sent to him of us on my bed was enough to have him almost jumping up and running home.
Damien is carrying Marty in his arms, Marty was limp with his mouth slightly open. We entered the house and climbed the stairs, I opened Marty's door and Damien slipped inside and gently laid him on his bed. He bent his head and placed a gentle kiss to his forehead. My heart swelled and all I wanted to do was ravish him and have him get me pregnant.
Damien lightly touched my hand as he left the room, leaving me to tuck him in. I pulled the covers up to his chin, pressed a kiss to his forehead and said goodnight.
"I love you little wolf"
"Love you mommy" He sleepily murmured
A large smile broke out on my face and I basically skipped out of his room and into mine next door. Damien was waiting by the bathroom door and crooked his finger in my direction before entering the bathroom. I giggled and followed him in. The door shut with a bang and then my legs were wrapped around a warm body, my back hit the door and Damien's lips ravished my neck and jaw.
"Damien" A grunt was all the answer I got "Put a baby in me"
His head shot up so fast, I'm sure he got a crick and he growled "Yes Alpha"
The best day followed by a passionate night of love and baby making.
