I watch as the Seer left the King's office, I am still trying to wrap my mind around everything that she had told me. I still can't believe it, why would the moon goddess choose me of all people. I try not to dwell on it too much for now, I'm meeting her for brunch tomorrow so she can tell me more. It's crazy that I only came here to register my pack and now I'm leaving with more knowledge about who I am than I thought possible.

It was a lot to take in, but it all kind of made sense to me as well. I always wondered why the wolves we found felt like spilling their life stories to me, now it all made sense, they felt safe with me and like I will protect them. I mean I will protect any of my pack members with my life so they don't have to worry about that.

Thrain nudged my arm and I shook my thoughts out, I saw the King gesturing for us to take the seats in front of his desk instead of the couch. Time to do what we came here to do.

We got right down to business, a doctor came in to draw my blood, to make sure my claim to Alpha was legitimate. When the doctor left, the King pulled out a stack of forms and started filling them in, passing them to me to fill in my part.

We are now bent over a large map to sort out the territory. I already knew that I didn't want to move the pack, I wanted to stay where we are now.

"Where are you settled now?" The Queen asked

I looked at the map closely, all the different territories were outlined with their names in the middle. I looked for the Silver Thunder Pack and saw that they have the largest territory.

"Just here, about an hours run from the Silver Thunder Pack" I pointed to the area without any names or outlines.

"You're near them? Have they caused any trouble? Has anyone been hurt?" The Queen put a hand over her tummy while the King rubbed her back

"No, my Queen. They were understandably wary when we first arrived but I make sure none of my wolves wander to far near their borders"

"Thank god, and please Alyssa, call me Alexis and this one, Julius" She patted the King's back and he growled at her.

"Lexi, we are royals. Our subjects don't call us by our names"

"Oh hush love, Alyssa and I are going to be best friends, I can tell"

I giggled watching their interaction, you can see they love each other fiercely because the King just shook his head with a small smile on his face and went back to looking at the map. I looked at Alexis and she winked at me and sat in the nice large chair behind the desk, a look of relief took over her face. Im sure she is feeling quite sore.

"So, back to this. Is that where you would like to stay? It is unclaimed land and I can't imagine moving everyone when you have been there so long"

"That would be fantastic. It would prove difficult to move over 200 wolves"

Alexis gasped and Julius looked up sharply. Oops. They didn't look happy.

"You have 200 wolves in your care? Why didn't you come forward sooner?" King Julius' eyes were turning black, meaning his wolf was close to the surface. I had to hurry and explain.

"Im very sorry your highness, I just found out that I could register a pack a few days ago and I came here straight away. I lost my parents when I was young so I don't know much about official Alpha business" I hung my head in shame, I didn't want to see the looks in their eyes.

Alexis got up from the chair and came over and hugged me, her belly getting in the way. I giggled when she sighed.

"It's fine, don't worry Alyssa. It's partially my fault for not even knowing about you. I don't know how you were never discovered" King Julius said shaking his head.

"Like I said King Julius, my wolves do not cause any trouble. We run just like any other pack, except we all sleep in tents" I replied while smiling.

King Julius smiled and shuffled through his desk for more paperwork "Well, no more of that. I will send my best construction crew back with you so we can get started on building houses. We will also send you a monthly stipend until you are able to sustain yourselves"

"Thank you King Julius, that is very generous"

"Please, Lexi here will have my head if I don't help her new bestie in any way I can" King Julius looked over at his wife who just smiled sweetly at him. When he looked away she winked at me and nodded.

I had to put my hand over my mouth to stifle my giggles. I could hear Thrain trying not to laugh to. I didn't think I would make friends with the King and Queen when I came here, but it's nice to have another female friend. I know I have Laura but having someone to talk to who knows what it is like to have so much responsibility is nice.

"Right, all that's left is to name your Beta and Gamma and name the pack" King Julius scribbled some notes and looked up at me

"Thrain Hawkins is Beta and Josh Roberts is Gamma along with his mate, Laura"

King Julius nodded and wrote their names down "Pack name?"

I had been thinking about a name for the pack since we left and I hadn't thought of anything. I racked my brains trying to think of anything. We needed something that was special to us, Alpha's named their packs by something that defined them. The Silver Thunder Pack got it's name because their was a huge storm rolling in when their Alpha was registering.

A throat was cleared and I look over at Thrain, a small smile graced his face "I got an idea"

I nod at him and he looks at King Julius.

"The Blood Moon Pack"

A strangled laugh left me as I looked at everyone, King Julius is smirking and shaking his head and Alexis is laughing loudly while holding her belly.

"I love it, that will be our name" I nod at King Julius as he writes it down.

We sit there for a bit more while King Julius informs us of what will happen next and then he mentions something about a party. My stomach sank into my ass.

"Don't look so scared Alyssa. We need to introduce you and your pack to the other packs in the area so they all know you are a legitimate pack and not just a bunch of rogues"

I nod as his words sank in. It makes sense, The Silver Thunder Pack wasn't pleased when we moved in and that was because they did see us as just a bunch of rogues, but now that we are a registered pack, they don't have to worry about us. I will have to set up a meeting after the party with their Alpha so we can get to know each other better, we are neighbours after all.

We all stood up and say our goodbyes, just as we are about to head out the door, an idea hit me and I smiled.

"King Julius?"

"Yes"

"Do you think it would be possible to keep the fact that I am a female a secret until the party?" I swallowed deeply, unsure how he would take the deceit.

Alexis looked like her face was going to split in half, she waddled over to me and brings me into another hug. I laugh as I wrap my hands around her shoulders. She pulled back but kept her arms on my shoulders.

"You are very sneaky Alyssa, I love it. You will eat with us tonight for dinner, that includes your Beta and warriors. I need to get to know my new bestie"

King Julius laughed and wrapped his arms around her waist, bringing her to his side. He looked at me and nodded "You're secret is safe with us, see you at dinner. I will have someone come and collect you to bring you to our private dining room"

I nodded and walked out of the room, Tom and Eric falling into step behind me. I smiled at Thrain as he pushed off the wall and walked beside me.

"Excited about tomorrow afternoon?"

I nodded and leaned into him. Tomorrow after we see the seer, there will be a small ritual to officially join the pack together. It is usually done with the entire pack present but the seer said that because I am much stronger, over the phone will be enough, as long as everyone pledges their loyalty we will all be connected and be able to mind link.

I couldn't stop the smile even if i wanted to, tomorrow we will be a proper pack and I will be able to run my pack like a proper Alpha, and look after everyone like one.

I thought about everyone at home and the one person I was sorely missing right now, his smile can light up the room and make me feel better instantly.
