One week.
A whole week since we signed the contract and I have to say, little Bram is the absolute best. He was the cutest and he giggled at almost everything, big brown eyes wide and always up for games. It's one in the afternoon and it's Saturday. I had put Bram down for a nap a little over an hour ago and after this meeting with J, I was gonna wake him up and make him something to eat.
J barged into the study and placed his glock on the table, the matte black gun just lying there. He looked angry and he had a bandage wrapped around his arm.
"Did you get him?" I asked, leaning back into my chair. We had a thief amongst us, there was a break in at one of our casinos and a hundred thousand was stolen. I didn't want to actually find him myself when I was angry so J was assigned the task.
"I got him. He's in the dungeon."
"Good. I'll deal with it from here, you can rest now." I said, smiling at my friend and right hand man.
"I'm gonna go over and see Ryan, he's going to freak when he sees the bandage." J said, running his hands through his dark. Yeah, Ryan was definitely going to freak if anything J had told me about him was true. And trust me when I say, he has told me a lot.
I was about to speak when the door was pushed open and Bram walked in. He was in a baby blue onesie and he was yawning, looking every bit like the kitten he is. I don't look away as he scurried over to me and crawled into my lap.
He pressed a kiss to my cheek and snuggled closer. His hair was loose and was going every which way, nose pressing against my skin. He smelt sweet and was so warm and he fit right in my arms.
"Hey baby boy. Are you okay?"
"I'm hwungry." he said, his voice soft.
"What do you wanna eat?"
"Food." Bram said and I smiled. However, J snorted and shoot, I forgot he was there. I looked at my friend and raised my brow at him. He was smiling and looked like he was minutes away from cooing. I didn't even know J could make that face.
Looking away was all it took for Bram to immediately reach out and grab the gun, bringing it close to his face and staring at it with wide eyes. He looks at the gun and then at me, his lips parted. Bram brought the gun closer to his face giggling.
"Bang, bang, bang." he giggled, waving the gun at J who looked just about ready to dunk to the ground.
"Little prince, you can't wave that around." I said, reaching for the gun.
"But I wanna." he said with a pout. It was a lethal look. One that can make me get whatever it is he wanted.
"What if you hurt daddy though and I go away forever?" I asked, trying to look sad.

Bram flung the gun at J. He turned over so he could hold my face in his hands and leaned closer, so close that our noses were almost touching. "I never hurt daddy, ever." Bram said. "Daddy the best."
"You're the best, baby boy." I said, pressing a kiss to his cheek and another to his nose. I adjusted Bram before getting off the chair. Bram wrapped his legs around my waist, arms around my neck.
"J, get going. I'm going to take care of my little one." I said and walked over to the door. J rushed over and held it open.
"Daddy, after lunch, we play?"
"Anything you want, baby bunny."
"Meow." Bram giggled and I huffed out a laugh.
"That's not how bunnies sound like." I said, tightening my grip on his thighs as I took him down the stairs.
"You dunna know that." Bram said, pulling his face away from my neck and looking at me, his head tilted to the side.
"I'm your daddy, I know everything."
"Nuh uh."
"Do you want to argue with me? I'll win."
Bram giggled and shook his head at me. "You're silly, daddy."
"But you like it."
"Yeah!" Bram cheered.
We got to the kitchen and I place him down on one of the stools. Bram kept swinging his legs, humming and smiling as he looked at me, his hair falling into his eyes. I couldn't stop staring at him and I didn't want to. However, I needed to make him something to eat.
"Will you like some soup, baby boy?" I asked and Bram nodded with so much excitement, his hair flying. I couldn't hold back my chuckle when Bram tried blowing the hair away from his face, his eyes were crossed and he had this tiny frown. Oh goodness, he was adorable.
It took some minutes to prep and get everything ready but soon enough the kitchen smelt good and Bram had moved from the stool. He was now lying on the ground, tongue out as he focused on painting me some pretty pictures.
For lunch, I had made a huge bowl of chunky bolognese soup with penne.
"Okay, little bunny! Food is ready!" I called out and Bram looked up. He left his crayons and paper on the ground as he rushed over to me. I crossed my hands and stared down at him with a stern expression.
"Are you forgetting something?"
Bram looked back at where his crayons and paper laid and turned back to me and shook his head. I held back my scoff and narrowed my eyes at him.
"Do you want to go in the naughty corner, little one?"
"Nuh."
"Go and pack up."
"I don't wanna." Bram whined, bouncing on his feet and looking up at me with wide eyes.
"Don't make me tell you twice." I said. Voice clear and tone sharp, authority dripping through. Bram ran over and packed everything up, placing them on the table. When I reached for one of the papers, he let out a whine and shook his head.

"Not yet, daddy. Not done."
Since I had put the food in one large bowl, I could feed Bram and myself. With each spoonful of food, Bram did this adorable wiggle, smiling with his cheeks full. Lunch went as fast as it came and soon we were in the sitting room. Bram had crawled back onto my lap.
"Can we see cartoonies?"
"Watch, babyboy, not see." I said, rubbing his sides softly.
"Can we?"
"Of course, little one."
I pulled up Disney plus, scrolling through the option until Bram pointed at the one he wanted. Finding Nemo. I haven't seen this yet and watching it with Bram was a new experience for me. His little giggles and laugh, the way he looks at me when I laugh, the feeling of his warmth against me. When he started crying, I had a mini freak out. I wiped away his tears, looking at him and asking why.
"Nemo hates his daddy."
"He's just saying that because he's angry right now, little one."
"You sure?" Bram asked, looking at me with what had to be the most lethal puppy look I've ever seen.
"Of course, little bunny."
"Never hate you though."
"I'll never hate you too, baby boy."
I was hoping this movie was going to end okay because the last thing I wanted was for Bram to feel sad or cry in any kind of way even if it was for a movie. I was half tempted to google the end scene and make sure but I didn't want to move him and honestly, I think I left my phone up in the study.
At the end of the movie, Bram was so happy, he was smiling bigger than I had ever seen him and it was so infectious, hearing him laugh and seeing him smile like that. All of a sudden he had this burst of energy and I had to pull out the big guns.
Not my literal guns.
I took Bram out to the back where the pool and jacuzzi was but we were not swimming right now. I led Bram over to the little walkway and grinned.
"Whachu doing?"
"You're gonna draw."
"Whaaa?"
I rushed over to one of the lounge chairs and grabbed the box of chalk I had kept there earlier that day and handed it to Bram. He let out a loud squeal when he realises what was going on. We were going to create a little sidewalk art.
Bram tossed the box to the ground and hugged me tight.
"Thank you thank you." he said.
He got on the ground, his legs criss crossed as he reached for the box of chalk. I watched him draw, tongue sticking out as he focused on his art. His hair kept falling into his eyes and I couldn't help but feel proud. My little.
"Do you want some music?"
"Will you sing, daddy?"
My cheeks turned hot and I let out a cough, "I can't sing, little prince. J tells me I sound like a drunk cat." I said and Bram giggled.
"J's a meanie."
"The biggest meanie but he's right though. How about I play some songs for you and maybe I'll sing for you later?" I asked, reaching out to tuck some hairs behind his ear.
"Okie."
I took out my phone and looked through spotify for some disney playlist and tapped on the first one. I Just Can't Wait To Be King was the first song that came on, Bram trying to sing along and missing a few words.
So adorable.
I also picked up a chalk and tried to draw Bram, using orange chalk to draw squiggles as his hair.
"That's me!" he cheered, pointing at my work of art, if I may say so myself.
"Is it? I wasn't sure." he said and I looked at him, feigning confusion.
"It's me!" Bram said again and pointing at his hair and then at the chalk art. His finger tips and parts of his hands were stained with chalk.
"Of course, it's you, little bunny. Who else would I draw?" I asked, going on my hands so I could press kisses on his face. We drew a bit more until it was snack time. Snack time consisted of a shop bought cupcake and a juice box.
I had spent the entire day with little Bram and it was absolutely perfect. He was perfect for me. It was almost five thirty when Bram wanted to nap again and I let him. I tucked him into bed, pulling the duvet closer and pressing a kiss to his forehead.
"Got sleep alright? I'll be here." I said, pressing another kiss to his nose.
"Daddy..." Bram said, yawning afterwards.
"Sh, be a good boy and got to sleep, Bram."
Bram's eyes closed and he lets out a breath. I ran my fingers through his hair and kept at it, staring at his sleep sweet face. There was a tiny smile on his face. A couple minutes later, I pressed one final kiss to his face before getting off the bed. I switched off the lights as I walked out of the room.
I picked up around the house, the chalk, the crayons and finally got to the picture Bram had forgotten to complete. It was the stick figures of us. Green crayons for my eyes and brown for his. We were holding hands and there was a tiny lopsided heart. I put everything into the room I was still setting up for Bram.
Next time, he was going to pick out at least seven stuffies for himself so he could keep them here. Once I was done, I grabbed my ipad from the study and made my way back to the bedroom and slipping onto the bed.
I loved staying by Bram's side. It felt like it was where I was always meant to be.
Always.
Maybe forever. Who knows.

He was coming close and close. I tried to move rightwards but due to my attire and jewellery i feel i was not fast enough and i felt his left hand encircling around my waist. With his touch i felt a sensation in my entire body going through my spinal cord and my heartbeat it had no boundaries. I closed my eyes tightly and kept my face down and trying to get out of his hold. I was looking like a petite frame under his hold with my small height in comparison to his beastly size. I was not wearing any heels right now and barely reached upto his shoulders. I was not able to understand what he was trying to do but i didn't dare to open my eyes.I felt his another hand on my chin and he lifted my face."Leave me" i said nervously and was not able to bear this much of our proximity."First open your eyes" he said tightening his grip on my waist. He is 28 and she is 23.Anirudh and Sona totally opposite souls are bound together.Let's see what destiny has stored for them.#SOHANIImpressive rankings.#1 out of 12.9k in motivation October 2021#1 out of 12.9k in motivation April May 2022#1 out of 104k in betrayal June 2022
