《The Light Within the Sharingan》21

That bastard! I'll kill him! He takes my family and then he takes the only girl who could possible make me feel alive again.
Sasuke stormed through his house, not caring for what he knocked over and broke. Anger flooded through him, hatred coursing through his veins, and all for the one person he truly loved in the beginning; Itachi. Sasuke growled at the pure thought of him touching her. Doing as he pleased with her. Forcing her to believe what ever he wanted her to believe. Throwing down a bag, Sasuke piled whatever came to hand inside, still surging through the household that was left empty a mere fifteen years ago. Turning around the corner into the kitchen, Sasuke performed the same routine as he did with his clothes; throwing whatever came to hand into the bag, not caring what the hell he was taking.
"Sasuke," a voice queried more than anything, "what the hell are you doing?"
Sasuke, still growling, turned on his heel to face the shrill female voice.
"I don't have time for this, for you or your silly little games, Sakura." He hissed, zipping the bag up with haste.
Her face dropped, fear radiating from her eyes.
"You can't go after her!" Sakura shouted, throwing her fists down on the desk in front of her, much like Sasuke had done in the Hokage's office previously.
Sasuke walked up to her, his face inches from hers, causing a blush to dust her cheeks.
"Watch me." He growled, activating his Sharingan.
Sakura's eyes widened, shock causing her to stay in her place. Sasuke paced towards the door, leaving Sakura to gawk.
"If you take one more step towards that door," Sakura snarled, "I'll scream."
Sasuke stopped for a moment, letting her words process. He scoffed, taking a small step forward. He heard Sakura inhale her breath ready to scream. Letting her see his full speed for the first time he appeared behind her.
"One day, you'll understand Sakura." I whispered, taking her waist in my grip with one arm, letting my index finger stab into the vital chakra point at the back of her neck, central to her spinal chord. She fell forwards, falling in Sasuke's arm, completely limp.
"I'll come back, one day." He said, placing her gently on the floor.
Sasuke stepped over the unconscious blossom on the floor, heading for the door, pulling his long, black travel cloak over him, along with the hood to hide his face. The weather was grim outside, an advantage for Sasuke since there'd be less people around to avoid. He took deep breaths, exhaling and inhaling. He had to be sneaky if he wanted to get over the village wall and away. He knew that no doubt the village would be crawling with Jounin and other Ninja looking out for him since he lost his cool in the Hokage's office.

Slipping between back alleys, Sasuke's cloak rippled in the wind behind him. As he thought, Ninja flooded the streets, trying to look inconspicuous. Sasuke smirked at the challenge. Charging up to the wall he concentrated the chakra into his feet, climbing with ease. Before jumping straight over, he peeked, checking that they hadn't put patrol on the outside as well.
"Tch, too easy." Sasuke muttered, slipping down onto the grass outside of Konoha, speeding off into the forest before him, completely unaware of what he was getting himself into. Not that he cared of course.
"Here I come, big brother."
I tapped the floor with my toe irritably. Pein had called another meeting for some God forsaken reason. Itachi stared at me from the opposite side of the room, the only other completely solid figure in the cave apart from myself. The eyes of the others started to open, mere holograms.
"Ooooohhhh!" Tobi began, his hologram sinking down to its knees. I smirked, more to myself than anybody else. Tobi was right next to Itachi and Itachi was in no mood to be messed around with today. Itachi's gaze broke from my existence, glancing at Tobi and then grimacing. It was only for a second, but I was learning to catch the Uchiha with his emotions a lot more frequently that he would have expected. In many ways, he reminded me of Sasuke. Acting cool when really he's just like everybody else.
"How are you Itachiiii-sama!?" Tobi dragged out, pulling his hands together and cocking his left leg out. Itachi growled under his breath, ignoring the child-like Shinobi next to him, diverting his attention back to Pein, who's eyes were just opening.
"Ne, what the fuck are we here for?!" Hidan bellowed through the bleak room. His hologram lowered the scythe onto the statued finger he was standing on. He stood tall, puffing out his chest to make himself even more impressive, his eyes fluttering over my body.
"How about you keep your eyes to yourself, you disgusting pervert?" I hissed, forcing my body to move into as much of a fighting stance I could on the small amount of space I was stood on. Pein rolled his eyes. I had been with the Akatsuki for a mere three days and it was certain that Hidan and I would never get along. Not even if he was the last person to walk the land. Itachi smirked at my ambition, knowing that there was no way in Hell I'd be able to take on somebody as skilled as Hidan, no matter how much of a cocky amateur he came across as.
"Shut up, the both of you." Pein drawled, bored of our arguing. To everybody but him and Konan it was amusing, but I guess he wouldn't be much of a leader if he didn't at least act professional at times. We both glared at eachother, turning towards the ginger before us.

"You have been called here due to urgent matters." Pein uttered over the silence, his voice dripping with authority. "The Uchiha boy has left Konoha this morning." My eyes widened, flicking to Itachi from the side.
No emotion.
That bastard.
I directed my eyes back to Pein. Not bothering to answer the gazes that lay upon me from the other Akatsuki members.
"This mission will be for Kisame, Itachi and the girl."
My lips parted slightly, inhaling a sharp breath of shock. I looked at Kisame, grinning as usual and then to Itachi, his eyes shocked for a millisecond and then back to his normal emotionless orbs, the ones that Sasuke's imitated so well in the first place. Eyes that had seen darkness more than they should've.
"Well, well, well," Kisame's voice thundered, the echoes bouncing off of the walls, "looks like the little girl gets to meet up with her boyfriend again, a lot sooner than expected too." My eyes narrowed at him, still a lousy hologram.
"Now now, Kisame." Itachi's slick voice hushed, silencing the entire room as the others started to disappear. It was just the three of us left; Itachi, Kisame and me. The shark started to come to life, his skin getting bluer and his smile becoming a lot more menacing. Pein's voice echoed over us, although his hologram was not there.
"Get rid of the stray Uchiha, I don't want him messing our plans up."
My face scrunched up.
"You'll find out soon enough." Itachi whispered into my ear as he passed me, his cloak brushing the bare skin on my arm, leaving only goosebumps behind. I looked at him, not letting my overwhelming emotion run loose to my eyes.
"Hn, so now what?" I questioned, my voice low, almost as cold as the Uchihas.
"What the hell do you mean, 'now what?' Now we make a move and stop that nuisance of a little brother." Itachi replied harshly.
Kisame laughed, throwing Samehada over his shoulder. Both Akatsukis started to pace forwards, gaining speed with every step they took.
"One question," I started, causing the shark and raven to pause, looking back at me, "how the hell do we know where Sasuke is?"
Both of them looked at each other, Kisame's smile faltering, Itachi shaking his head at his partners insolence.
"He's heading South, down towards the Sand and then towards this hideout. Put your cloak on." Itachi looked at me, flicking his dark orbs down and then back up to mine. I flung the black cloak around me, tying it at the collar, letting it flow out in the slight breeze.
"We've retrieved word that he's going to need to stop soon enough and that will be a village on the outskirts of Konoha, right on the borderline of the Sand." Itachi spoke, his voice barely audible.
"Let's move out before Pein catches us standing around doing nothing." Kisame said at a normal level, for a change. I nodded and started to concentrate on keeping my speed to the same pace as the two criminals before me.
We picked up speed in no time and were well away from the Akatsuki hideout. The cloak that shielded my identity from everyone was heavy and warm, making me a lot more thirsty and tired under the baking sun. I was slower than Itachi and Kisame naturally, but the sun didn't help. They kept looking back, narrowing their eyes in a warning for me to pick up the pace. Branches kept knocking me back, causing me to stumble. But after about an hour or so we made it to the cheap looking motel on the outskirts of town.
"Here's the place." Kisame grinned, his pearl white sharps gleaming in the sunlight. I glanced at Itachi who nodded briefly, and continued towards the run-down structure before us. I walked slowly, dropping behind them.
Sasuke you idiot, don't try and be the hero.
A twig snapped, breaking my thoughts. Itachi's dark orbs were once again fixated on me. I narrowed my eyes at him and continued walking at a normal pace, catching up with the two in no time. We entered through the front door of the damp, bleak motel, almost as if they weren't S-rank criminals wanted all over the lands.
"Don't worry. It's in an alliance with the Akatsuki." Itachi murmured, reading my shocked expression. My heart calmed at the thought of not being caught with the two criminals and having any more drama than was about to happen. Itachi and Kisame wandered towards the stairs, slowly dragging their weight up them. Each creak was piercing, loud and haunting. I followed, my steps much lighter on the old wood. On the above floor was a long corridor, rooms dotted down the way.
"It's the end one."
What?! Was Sasuke already here?! BAKA! NEVERMIND THESE TWO I'LL KILL HIM WHEN I SEE HIM!
Storming past the grown men, pushing them aside as I parted them, I made my way down the end of the corridor. My chakra was radiating from my skin as I approached the door, each step making me angrier and angrier. I turned to the door and slammed my fist into it, a brief but loud knocking. I heard stumbling from inside, as if someone had fallen over things sprawled across the floor. Growling, I started to get impatient.
"UCHIHA IF YOU DON'T GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE RIGHT NOW, YOU WON'T HAVE AN ASS BY THE TIME I'M FINISHED WITH YOU!" I roared, punching a hole straight through the decrepit wood. A set of blonde spikes appeared, blue eyes accompanied them, completely shocked.
WHAT?! NARUTO?!
