The pair of father and daughter spent a lot of time talking to each other well it was mostly Isabella talking about her life she had died when she was 16 so she was in the mood to share about her life and about her mom tho she would break down from time to time when she recalled the fights she had with her and she would also yell at Rex for not being there when they needed him and he calmly took it all every single drop of sadness, every ounce of anger, every single strand of fear and all the blame and complaints she had about him everything and stored it away in his heart with the memories of Elia.

"...And then after my class I was on my way home when I was hit on the head by something and the next thing I know I am in this blue space with white lines moving around giving me a headache and a voice saying something along the lines of 'attachment complete welcome host you shall conquer the protagonists of different worlds and create your own intergalactic Harem' I cringed and rejected the offer but it pretty much threw me here a few months ago with no way for me to talk to or understand what people were saying and because of my looks I was targeted by weird men and with no other choice I accepted the offer and did what it told me to and then today It said that the 'Main mission' is about to start and I had to enroll in the arena and so here I am"(Isabella taking a drink from her mug of coffee) 

Rex was silent for a few minutes and was in deep thought and only woke up when

"dad ...DAD"(Isabella shaking him)

"What is it Isa?"(Rex coming out of the trance)

"You zoned out"(Isabella pointing at him after sitting down on her chair)

Rex shook his head destroying who ever was behind the system would come later for now he would spend as much time as he could with his daughter.

"So about that thing do you want to keep it or should I get rid of it?"(Rex)

She was about to respond but then she paled and covered her mouth and her eyes darted around fearfully signs of a hostage and that pissed Rex.

"Isa! look at me"(Rex with the calmest voice he could manifest without scaring her)

She looked at him and calmed a little but her eyes were still fearful

"Do you trust me?"(Rex still with the same expression and tone)

She nodded and no sooner did she do so she 'blacked out' and the surroundings changed 

Rex now stood in front of some kind of grotesque tentacle monster which had something like a feeding tube connected to the head of a 16 year old who was suspended from some sort of cross from her wrists she had black hair a Tan skin tone and amber eyes filled with fear which looked at tim pleadingly while some one who looked like a the current isabella was being treated as a juice box outside of the young woman's view point.

Rex simply made a grabbing motion and the monster was distangeled from both the women and compressed into a small glass marble which was surrounded by thick glass like substance he caught both of them and the scenery changed again.

This time they were in some sort of futuristic hospital with multiple cabins similar to the ones use by saiyans for healing only these prevent the dissipation of the 'soul' and instead strengthen it he placed his daughter and the girl in two of the cabins and activated them and stepped out of the room and then headed to a room which read core.

"Hey core!"(Rex entering the room)

"Yes."(A mechanical voice)

It was an empty room that was shaped like a hexagon and the size of a large closet and in the center of it floating in mid air was a white orb with 6 ghost blue coloured disks orbiting around it.

"How have you been assimilating?"(Rex)

"The progress is optimal and I shall be able to replace you as soon as Tachi reaches rank 70."(Core)

"Good"(Rex)

"I have a gift for you"(Rex tossing the thing to core)

"Have fun"(Rex heading towards the medical cabins)

The thing floated in front of core for a few minutes before it was released from it's prison and appeared in all its grotesque glory but it could not move and was panicking.

"Initiating analysis"(Core)

Suddenly the monster got split into many different parts.

"Feeding function analysis complete"(Core)

A part of the monster disappeared.

"Attachment function analysis complete"(Core)

Another part of the monster disappeared. 

"Encroachment function analysis complete"(Core)

One more part of the monster disappeared. 

"Soul feeding function analysis complete"(Core)

Again a part of the monster disappeared.

"Power feedback analysis complete"(Core)

Another part of the monster disappeared.

"Dampener function analysis complete"(Core)

Another part of the monster disappeared.

"Brain / Mind manipulation function analysis complete"(Core) 

Another part of the monster disappeared.

"Inventory/Interface/voice function analysis complete"(Core)

Three parts of the monster disappeared.

"Self replication function analysis complete"(Core)

A huge part of the monster disappeared.

"Consciousness analysis complete"(Core) 

Another part of the monster disappeared leaving behind a single part that looked like an eyeball.

"Creating Virus.....running simulations.....adapting.....evolving......limiting....setting kill switches.....setting up absolute kill switches.....creation complete"(Core producing a syringe with nothing visible inside it)

"Inserting Virus....insertion success......transmission....success"(Core inserting it into the eyeball) 

"Monitor function analysis complete"(Core) 

The eyeball disappeared and core returned to doing whatever it was doing before.

On a side note.

The virus spread across the multiverse destroying many many systems and destroying quite a few people who were behind the creation of these systems and those behind them as well but those destroyed by the virus had one thing in common the system's goal was not to help its hosts but rather to turn them into mindless puppets or obedient soldiers or destroy and destabilize a world it would leave the rest alone without doing anything as long as they showed no signs of doing the above mentioned things.

The truly good ones then started calling the virus a trial of faith this went on for many many multiverses until it reached a certain short green haired man with a prosthetic leg and a unhealthy fear and hatred of/for fangirls.
