Author's Note P1
— !!!CUSSING WARNING!!!
Major info dump/reminders
- Ethan died during the Titan War, and he doesn't remember ANYTHING that happened after his death.
- Ethan died while they were all on good terms with him. Like, he obviously remembers how he died so the pair feel relatively comfortable around him, especially since he is so clearly out of the loop.
- The shock of seeing a very dead person made Percabeth kinda forget about Will and Nico until they composed themselves.
- Ethan is referred to as Ethan or Nakamura throughout this chapter. That's because he isn't Two Face around Percabeth, and my explanation for that is a traumatic brain injury.
- This chapter is mostly just Percabeth laughing at their dead kinda-friend because they're in shock.
- Ethan doesn't know that Solangelo is a thing, and that he poked a sleeping dragon. A REALLY large, zombie-summoning sleeping dragon.
——...——
"You know what? Fuck this. You're dead, or at least you damn well should be. I've mourned, everybody else has mourned, and you shouldn't be here. Nico said you died, and I'm perfectly willing to drag you back down under myself if I need too."
"Yeah right Jackson. As if you could break in and out of the Underworld."
Annabeth started snickering, an action which made Nakamura seemingly steam at the wars as he spun to face her.
"WHAT'S SO FUNNY?!?" He snarled.
"It's funny how out of the loop you are. Literally. So. Out. Of. The. Loop."
Percy started snickering too.
"YOU TOO?!?"
Annabeth sighed, "Oh gods. He missed so fucking much. Hell, how does one miss an entire fucking war?"
"A what now?!?"
Ethan was ignored as the couple kept cracking up and clutching their stomachs.
Annabeth looked at Percy, completely ignoring Ethan. "Remember when we didn't know that the Romans existed? Gods, we were so young then."

"ROMANS?!? I THOUGHT THAT THEY'RE ALL DEAD?!?"
"Or how about when we didn't know that we'd have to fight the god damned giants with the stupid, stubborn ass gods." Percy said with a hint of anger.
Thunder rumbled throughout the sky, and Percy turned around and shouted at the ceiling "You fuckers heard me right! Except for you Hestia! If you fuckers want us to keep fucking help you, then you need to help us in return!!!"
Nakamura just continued to stare at Percy, who continued to cuss out the various gods and goddesses.
Annabeth continued on her train of though. "What else did you miss? These was that time period where Percy disappeared for ten months, we built a flying ship and sailed across the world, I fought Arachne, Seaweed Brain and I fell into Hell-"
"I'M SORRY, DID YOU JUST SAY THAT YOU FELL INTO TARTARUS??? AND YOU THINK THAT I'M THE ONE WHO SHOULD BE DEAD AS A GOD DAMNED DOORKNOB???"
"Again, that's old news. It's been like 3 years now?"
"HOW THE FUCK DID YOU GET OUT OF THERE ALIVE?!?"
"A friendly giant, a brainwashed Titan, one of those skeleton cats you helped summon, and a lot of picking fights with people that we really shouldn't be picking fights with?"
"Like who."
"Uhm. Do you want the list in chronological or alphabetical order?"
"Chronological?"
Annabeth zoned out slightly. "Okay. Minor monsters, Kelli, Atari, Akhlys, semitechnically Nyx, Hyperion, Krios, and slightly Tartarus."
"... I... I need to sit down."
"Oh! If you could refer to us as Tawny and Cobalt while we're here, that'd be appreciated. Too many heroes around these parts."
Ethan stared at the ceiling as he layer down on the floor. "Sure."

Annabeth turned to face her fiancé again. "Cobalt! Enough screaming at the fuckers right now!"
"But I-"
"Nope."
"Fine."
"... I'm still so fucking confused."
"Why?" Percy asked.
"Aren't you like fatally loyal to the gods Cobalt?"
"Oh hell no. I'm loyal to my family, and that currently means most demigods, some mortals, and Hestia."
"Why Hestia?"
"Because I actually like her."
"... Fair enough."
Annabeth looked back at the chair as she put Nico on the ground. "Okay, now why did you decide to kidnap Will?"
"I figured he could help me with... You know. This." He said, gesturing to the grey of his body.
"Did you really have to kidnap him though?" Percy questioned.
"I don't really remember kidnapping him. I remember seeing him at the mall and trying to get close enough to him to talk, walking into the bathroom, and then I woke up here with Will tied to the chair."
"... Do you know how long he's gonna he out for?" Annabeth asked.
"Nope."
"Fuck. We're all going to die if he isn't awake to calm Ghostie down."
"... Fuck."
"Is there a reason for that or?!?"
Annabeth and Percy broke out in laughter once again.
——...——
"I've got a hit!" Dick exclaimed, looking up from a laptop.
"Where?"
"Two Face was last seen entering a medium-sized abandoned warehouse by the river two hours ago. No body in sight. Then ten minutes ago, two people broke into the building, judging by their statutes, a male and a female. The male did something to the lock, and the female has wings. There's also a vaguely humanoid mass on the females back, but it doesn't appear to be Will."
"So one confirmed hostage, one confirmed hostile, two people who broke into the warehouse, and another possible hostage."
"That's correct."
"Great. Fucking great." Jason muttered.
"Okay. Everyone, suit up. We're going to approach this carefully, since there are three unknowns involved. We leave in 3."

I don't have anything else to say really. Um. Yes, there will be a fight scene. Yes, Percabeth didn't do anything to restrain Ethan. And yes, the Bat Fam is going to accidentally wreck some shit up.

Author's Note. This is book 7! Please feel free to hop on and enjoy! If you find you like my writing style, I hope you'll check out the first 6 books, all available to read on Kindle Unlimited, link below!) Alex was dying, and all the millions his father had left him meant nothing. The life he had been so eager to embrace, to do the memory of his father proud, would soon come to an end. Cancer. That ugly, terrible word. He had tried to be strong for his mother, even when the treatments left him violently ill, his body wracked with pain, his friends and even his girlfriend leaving him almost as fast as his once impressive physique wasted to nothing under the ravages of his illness. And just when he thought all hope was dead, a couple discrete referals placed by high-powered friends of his family got him an exclusive spot at the most sophisticated cryonic facility in the world. He didn't know if there was such a thing as an afterlife, but part of the package included uploading a copy of his cortex into a digital universe filled countless worlds to explore, where he could embrace whatever class or profession he could dream of. All of which sounded hell of a lot better than the miserable death waiting for him in the real world. In the end, he signed the paperwork, putting his pathetic flickering life in the hands of potential quacks and charlatans. After all, with death just days away, what did he have to lose? Even if he could never be successfully revived, he could at least adventure his heart out. (Authors Note: Books 1-6 are now live on Amazon and here is a link if you wanted to check it out! And I will continue to post chapters to Book 6 here first, until that tale is told! I hope you enjoy! And if you wanted to help support my work by checking out book 1 on Amazon, I would be extremely grateful!)

Heart of the Dungeon
A lazy, wingless, blabbermouth of an imp, smearing goat’s blood all over the crystal – that is the unpleasant view this new Heart wakes up to. “I’m your Prime!” the imp says. The Heart reluctantly agrees. In an unknown world, filled with dangers, it needs every help it can get – even if said help is not…optimal. The Heart tries its best to succeed, even after being tricked by shrewd traders and having less than useful minions. Rival races settle in the Dungeon, causing even more headaches. The heroes, as they call themselves, sets their aim on the ‘new and defenseless’ Dungeon. The heroes are always lurking in the shadows – well actually, they are standing in the open, under the sun, hiding nothing – but either way, their evil intentions, no matter how they claim to justify them, only cause needless death. “Am I really that precious? Must you hunt me so fiercely? Why are you doing this to me?” The Heart does not understand their motives. Perhaps its lack of understanding has something to do with the fact the Heart has no physical limits nor material needs. Why take it from someone, when you can simply will it forth? Just pay for it with mana rent! To make things worse, the real dangers are not from above, nor from below, but from within…
