Nico was smoking, letting off small sparks of emerald fire as he seethed.

Percy spoke slowly. "So now that we know who has him, all-"

Nico crumpled into Annabeth's arms, who avoided the dissipating cloud of purple mist as she lowered the sleeping demigod to the ground.

"Remind me to thank Fortune later. The sleeping gas she gave us should last for two hours."

"So we've got two hours to find a villain that kidnapped another demigod, rescue the demigod, and then make sure he's unharmed in two hours otherwise Nico's gonna wake up and destroy the city."

"Don't forget that he'll also be trying to kill us for stopping him."

"I still think our first quest had worse odds."

"All of our quests have had worse odds. You passing our High School exams had worse odds."

"I'm aware. Has Bronze sent a location yet?"

"Yep. Just received. Grab Nico, we're heading back to the river. Bronze also said to be careful. This guy's got no backstory in the system and showed up out of nowhere with extreme scarring."

The pair raced across the dark rooftops, carefully carrying the sleeping teen as they headed towards the river surrounding the city.

When they reached the river, Annabeth jumped off the building, using her wings to soar above the river, while Percy placed Nico on his back and jumped onto the water, easily pushing himself across the surface.

With a wide grin on her face, Annabeth dived down, giving a quick kiss to her fiancé's cheek, before chuckling and rising back up.

A young lady with violet eyes stood on the roof of a tall building on the northern side of Gotham.

She stared down, looking at a simple warehouse which held two very important people inside.

"Next time, when I say to kidnap a demigod, use your fucking brain and don't kidnap the boyfriend of a demigod that can kill you in seconds," she mutters, still staring the warehouse down.

"Hopefully Jackson and Chase can get Will back before Nico wake up. I'd rather not have to get involved because they couldn't do their jobs right."

"At least the idiot chose a warehouse near the water. It should make the rescue go faster."

"Oh well. I may have saved him, but he dug his grave," she muttered, "After all, one should know to NEVER take something from a child of Hades. At least, not after the last incident."

"Hopefully the next subject will have more success then this one. It's a shame to lose him, but it is what it is."

She gave one last look at the warehouse, already imagining the end of one of the occupants. With a small smile, she stepped off the edge.

They had arrived. An hour and forty five minutes left on the timer. Nico was on Tawny's back, safely nestled between the two large wings.

The two stood outside the rundown warehouse, looking at the door.

"Bronze is sure that this is the right building?"

"100%."

"You ready?"

"Sure."

Cobalt filled the lock with water, before Tawny poured a small amount of liquid nitrogen on it. With a simple kick, the lock shattered, and the door swung open.

Cobalt stepped inside, first, leading the way and muffling their footsteps as the pair carefully walked through the warehouse.

They turned a corner, walking into a dark room with a single lightbulb hanging above a blond head of hair.

"Will!" The two exclaimed, rushing forward in a burst of happiness.

A male figure stepped out of the shadows and into the light behind Will.

Twin gasps could be heard as the pair stepped back in shock.

"You're dead," Annabeth stated, staring at the black-haired demigod.

"Clearly I'm not," he replied.

"We watched you die," Percy declared.

"Technically, you never actually did."

"You fell off Olympus, Ethan. Please tell me how the 600-story fall wasn't a death sentence," Annabeth replied.

Two-Face walked forward, standing next to Will in a black and gold suit, right side looking as they remembered, with shaggy black hair, darker skin, and a dark colored eye. His left side was different. Changed. Hair with dark undertones that had stark white tips. Skin that had paled to an unhealthy grey tone, and a violet eye that stared at them, unblinking.

"Missed me?"

*laying on a bean bag that is too empty to sit on properly* *looks over story notes for the arcs* Have I told you all that the actual story arcs are completely focused on dealing with the traumatic experiences that Nico and Will have faced? I don't remember...

- The sleeping has used is a very potent gas form of a sleeping draught from Harry Potter.

- The demigods have technology that they can use without attracting monsters that may or may not be explained in future chapters. If you want to know, just ask me in the comments and I'll explain.

- The hero/villain names are used based on the situation and mindset of the person. So if they are focused on acting as a hero, then they get hero names used.

- OBVIOUSLY I HAVE CHANGED TWO-FACE'S BACKSTORY. Normally he is like 20 years older, but trama.

What ethnicity is Ethan? I could've sworn that we got more details about his ethnicity other then just Greek, but I can't find it.
