《The Gotham Ghost King》This Kids Worse Than I Am

"Hello everyone!"
"Will? When did you get back from your trip? And where's Nico?" Dick asked.
"Nico and I got back this morning, around 2 am probably. We got in through the windows. He'll be down in three minutes."
"Why did you two just disappear?" Jason asked.
Will took a seat at the kitchen table, grabbing a few pieces of bacon for himself. "Family emergency. One of Nico's cousins found an extended family member in trouble and needed backup to run a rescue."
"Is everyone okay? Who had them?" Dick questioned, leaning forward in his chair.
"Everyone's fine. Worst injuries were two mild concussions and a broken arm. And you wouldn't know the organization that had them."
"Are you sure? We do have our connections..."
"Oh trust me. You wouldn't be able to find them."
"Better question yet. Why didn't you call the police? Or the superheroes?"
"Having a bunch of kids who have been declared missing for most of their lives call the cops isn't the best idea."
Jason stood up, moving to lean against the wall. "This kid's worse then I am."
"No sh!t."
Dick grabbed a scrap of paper and scribbled a phone number on it, before thrusting it at Will.
"Who's number is this?"
"Batman's. If you need help, call him and someone will show up, no questions asked."
"And why do you have his phone number memorized?"
"With Wayne Enterprises being as influential as it is, things occasionally go south."
"Okay. How the f do you use this toaster?"
Jason's head snapped around to look at the dark-haired Italian, while Dick jumped and fell out of his chair.
Jason yelled "HOW DID YOU GET THERE?!?!?"
"I walked in through the door..." replied Nico sheepishly.

"...Have you two seriously been wearing the same clothes for the past few days?"
Nico glanced towards his shirt hem, realizing that the fabric was falling apart around him. "Maybe."
"We should go shopping then! Just the four of us!" Dick exclaimed, picking himself off of the floor.
"Fine. But after lunch."
"... You just want decent cooking, don't you Neeks."
"Shut up."

————...Author's Note...————-
Yes, Nico did actually walk in through the door.
I've been productive! Not necessarily writing wise (This was supposed to include the shopping trip too, but whatever), but I have the next two superhero designs created!
Question of the Chapter
Do you have any PJO headcanons that you'll die with?
- My favorite one is that Nico is an amazing artist but he can't remember learning how to draw (memories washed away by Lethe)

The Trials of Bethany
Bethany, is a young girl who didn't expect anything more from her life than to spend her time churning butter and trying to ignore the abuse of her fellow village members. In any other world this would be a reasonable expectation for a person in the middle ages. But Bethany was lucky, or unlucky depending on how you look at it. Because her world was about to get a whole lot bigger, and a whole lot scarier. The Trials of Bethany, is a Gamelit story of a system arriving on earth in the middle ages with the characters being teleported away regularly to face trials to earn their skill levels. As such there won't be a flood of skills however there will be constant progression and other hidden treats. The story will be evolving as it's written and as always aspects of the story/world are prone to change. This is my first serious attempt at writing and my first time publishing anywhere so all constructive criticism is welcome. Currently uploading Tuesday & Friday with occasional bonus chapters.
8 199Dungeon Pearl
Zeke lived a normal life and died a normal death. Fortunately for him, this wasn't the end. Swallowed by a strange creature known as a dungeon pearl he quickly gained the godlike power of the core for himself! A very small, weak god. Unfortunately for him, it seems that he won't be left alone. An attempt at a more organic dungeon core novel. Riffs on a lot of litrpg stuff without actually being litrpg. Cover by Douglas Terabyte!

A world without words — is a dull one. Words brought about communication. It brought forth harmony and conflict. For a world to exist without it, it would bring about melancholy. There would be no noise. Zachary Ashworth aspires to be a brilliant author one day. However, one problem lies ahead of him. After years of desiring nothing but to shun out people and their noise, he can no longer see the world, for it’s only colorless. "A wish for faint light. A wish for greater blight. By the by, do you crave desire?" Said the faceless man hanging from the ceiling. This was a story for a wonderland. Cover and Art Illustrated by Hayato Noda
8 157Rise or Fall
Change began to stir in the world of Sunkiera. New gods are born after thousand years of known history and monsters move west in great numbers, new threats creeping from ancient lore and an unlikely group of chosen heroes are summoned to begin their adventure to attain their divinity. Will they rise to godhood or fall to their demise?
8 228Creature Feature: InGen Hybrids
The fossil record is obviously incomplete, which means InGen's experiments with the hybridisation of various prehistoric creatures are probably not over. With that in mind, this guide is likely incomplete. But if you're writing Jurassic Park or Jurassic World fanfiction, or stories told within that pretty awesome universe, then any of the creatures found in these fair pages should be considered entirely canon!
