Nico has better control over his shadow travel through practice. As the current child of the shadows, it is well within his power to shadow long distances and only get slightly tired.

As the current heir to the throne of the Underworld, Nico also has the ability to summon large numbers of the dead. As they are not truly his powers, if he summons too many dead, his right hand will begin to decay away. Think of a zombie. The decay will spread until he gets rid of the excess skeletons.

Through a quest for his father, Nico also has increased control over the shadows, being able to solidify them or use them to create different things temporarily. An example of such would be the fake bodies he made. Combined with Will's powers, the simulacrum become robots that can stand in for them for short periods of time. (This can also be done with other bodies)

Through another quest, Nico's skin is much more durable. In order to hurt him, he's got to be hit hard or with something very sharp. When he does get hurt, the wound hurts a lot more. A needle might feel like a paper cut, a stab wound is going to feel like someone cut the limb off, etc.

Because of his new shadow powers, Nico has another weakness demonstrated in this last chapter. If Nico loses control of his powers, he will start to dissolve, shadow travel or not. He will lose control of his powers if he is knocked unconscious or badly hurt. All damage will be reversed when he regains control.

ALSO VERY SENSITIVE TO LARGE AMOUNTS OF LIGHT.

Will has wings. They help him control his powers with the only downside being that his wings are sensitive in more way then one, and he has issues controlling whether or not his wings come out because they are still relatively new.

Will also can particle travel, a version of shadow travel. He turns rainbow when he has used it too much. He runs the risk of being permanently discolored or dissolving into atoms.

Will can solidify light and manipulate all forms of it. Using his light power, he can change it to have a different power, such as life (green), or heat (red).

IN RETURN, WILL CANNOT FUNCTION IF THERE IS NO LIGHT SOURCE. NO SEEING, NO MOVING, NO POWERS

She can move the earth underground very well, using a lot of power to tunnel down then controlling the metals in the earth to move quickly across large distances. *Can only do this because she is really good friends with Tyson and Percy.
