I slid backwards, bracing myself against the edge of the fighting ring, before launching myself back at Dick.
"Whack!"
"Thud!"
I swung my staff harshly, hitting Dick and making him fly backwards, hitting the edge of the ring.
I ran, leaping up and pushing myself off of the pole that made up the corner, catching Dick across the back with my staff, bringing him to the ground.
"Do you concede?" I ask, putting more force onto the staff.
"Fine. I concede," he responds.
I took my staff off of him, putting it to the side and leaning down to help him up.
"You got me pretty well with that last hit," he said, rubbing his back.
"Just as you got me in the stomach during our last spar," I replied.
"Boys! Go freshen up! Dinner is almost ready!" Alfred said, calmly appearing in the doorway.
"Okay Alfred," we echoed, taking off running towards our rooms to take showers.
—————*Half an hour later*—————
"So Will, you and Nico have known each other for a long time, correct?" Bruce asked as we began to eat dinner.
"Yeah, we've known each other for six years or so," Will responded.
"So then, what's the funniest memory you have of Nico?" Dick asked excitedly.
"Well-"
I growled, threatening "Don't you dare say another-"
"It's hard to choose, but one time a bunch of kids ran up to Nico and tossed a bunch of yellow paint on him!"
"SOLACE!!!" I shouted, getting up.
"He couldn't get the yellow out for a week!!!" He chuckled.
"I'M GOING TO SEND YOU TO YOUR GRAVE SOLACE!!!" I yelled, beginning to chase him around the table.
"OH! Or there was this one time-"
"I'M GOING TO TOSS YOU OFF THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING SOLACE!!!!"
